“I have lived here for almost 2 1/2 years. I feel very safe here and enjoy my apartment very much. I wish the walls, floors and cabinets were lighter so that it didn’t feel so dark inside. That isn’t a property issue, it’s a corporate issue. The office can only do what corporate allows. I’ve found both the office staff and the maintenance staff very responsive and always friendly. There was a communication issue with one of the agents but she is no longer there and everything appears to be running smoothly. They remember everyone’s name and never fail to say hello or wave…even when they’re not with prospective residents. I’ve lived other places where the only time an agent said hello was when they were driving by with prospective residents. It used to drive me crazy! Especially when I’d stop in the office and they would act like they didn’t know me. Now to get down to the nitty gritty. The office staff is not the problem. The problem is the residents who refuse to clean up after their pets. Even with having to pay a “poop DNA”, the situation is only getting worse. That is not the fault of the office, it is the fault of irresponsible pet owners who think the rules apply to everyone but themselves. We have some very beautiful and friendly large dogs and the poop is not their fault. It is their owners. In an attempt to rectify this problem, the office has tried to come up with a solution. In theory, this would work… possibly. Unfortunately, in this real world of Ring doorbells and security cameras, this plan could actually become very dangerous. If you’re flagging someone’s poop, they see you on camera, but the office has fined them, what’s to stop the offender from tracking you down? It could potentially be a very serious situation. If everyone would just pick up after their pets, the area would be more sanitary. We all have to remember, little kids love to run around barefoot in the summer. If anything, do it for the kids and try to remember how much you “enjoyed” stepping in poop when you were younger. I’m sorry for this long post but people have to be responsible pet owners.”
“Loved living at The Beacon. Great community with fantastic office and maintenance staff. Gorgeous pool, quality gym, and lovely apartments. I didn't have a pet at the time but the complex is extremely friendly to pet parents. A clean and safe place to live. There's a fountained pond trail and dog park, as well as valet trash service and a car wash on site, too!”
“I just wanted to give an appreciation post to Ramon. ( one of the maintenance men ) Every-time I’ve had a problem in my apartment and the job gets assigned to him, let’s just say he always solves the problem. From my ac unit to a few other things in the apartment. If only he could get assigned the parking problem he might get that fixed too ??? anyways, Thank you again Ramon ! Your great work doesn’t go unnoticed .”
“Moving into Madison Pointe has been a breath of fresh air compared to some of the issues we were dealing with at our previous complex.Madison Pointe's location is fantastic, as I'm originally from Taiwan and I've sorely missed the walkability to food and entertainment - and the proximity to the Outlets have at least made 1 location that has many options walkable enough. My wife and I moved in at the end of September 2023, but we had actually attempted to apply once back in 2021 but due to complicated visa situation we were not successful - this time around Allison as well as Henry went above and beyond to help me get my (overly complicated situation) sorted enough to successfully apply! The experience has so far been amazing on the staff and facilities part. There are a few minor realities that must come to terms with in Apartment living though - especially being situated remotely close to any colleges or the like; none of these I hold any blame to Madison Pointe or its staff. I hope to continue enjoying calling myself a resident for the remaining time that I'm here in Florida!”
“Very professional at all times. Michelle and Sherri are both amazing and lets not even get on our maintenance man Tom! He's super quick and efficient and very friendly. Been here for almost 3 years and I have never had a bad experience. Thanks for making my home feel like home <3Update: now 5 years and nothing has changed. Such a great team”
“I live here and since new people took over it's been amazing they got right to work fixing the place up! And it's a safe place to live and not a whole lot of noise either!”
“I like my unit. I am a little unsettled that during walk through there were a few imperfections on my newly renovated unit. I was told by my leasing agent that she would have the maintenance come in first thing Monday. ( I moved in on Saturday) to have all issues addressed. More than a week later I have not heard from anyone. The lights staying on outside my bedroom window all night is a down fall too. Pool hours are also not accommodating to a person working a full time job through out the week and may prevent the full use of this amenity which was key in my search for our new home. A side from the stated concerns, I hope we can enjoy our new home.”
“I've lived here for the past year with my roommate, it's a great place. We've rented a 2 bed, 2 bath and had a 13 month lease. They have prompt and effective pest control and maintenance, and are very reasonably priced for what they offer. To illustrate the pest control and maintenance quality, I'll give my two incidents below. The very first day we moved in, I accidentally left my window a bit open for a full day while I was out, and to my great horror, when I came back in the late evening, there was a distressing number of large ants in my room. Although they were not at all aggressive, they still scared me. A day or two later, after trying some DIY ant repellant with some success, I called pest control. When the pest control guy came, he was very nice, and quite thorough. He sprinkled something around my windowsill and then around the base of the building underneath my window (I live on the 2nd floor), and the ants never came back.Second story, concerning the promptness and effectiveness of maintenance. While washing some dishes, I broke a glass and some pieces fell into the garbage disposal. Once again, a few days later I called the office to ask for someone to come take care of it. Now, this was not an emergency situation, and since it was late on a Friday, they weren't able to have someone come fix it right away. However, promptly on Monday, someone from the office sent me a message to check into whether my request had been taken care of, and when I informed her it hadn't, she asked me a short series of questions about the nature of the issue, and then, the next day, someone came to take care of it. Again, the gentleman who came was very nice and got the job done quickly.Overall, I genuinely have nothing to complain about concerning this apartment complex. If you're looking to rent here, this is definitely a good spot. Moreover, its really nice to be right nextdoor to Perrine's Priduce, the Neighborhood Walmart, and a couple other stores and restaurants. One note: there are some college kids on the premises, and they do get loud occasionally, but most of the time you can't hear them.”
