We miss this school a lot. Ms. Darian was amazing and actually cares about the kids. The kids were always kept busy and doing creative things. Ms. Shelley is efficient and makes sure you're on track and taken care of. I highly recommend this daycare.

I honestly never write these but this school is so sketchy . All the good teachers just quite out of no where and they were so desperate for workers they asked me to work and offered free child care. One day I took my child in and they didn’t have a class for her so one day stuck her with three year olds and when I picked her up at nap time, she didn’t have a blanket or sheet like all the other kids . It seems they had left it in her original class (two year olds class) which they no longer had teachers for the the two year olds they just kept switching her from the one year old class to the the three year old class . I figure they were short staffed so I didn’t bring her in. In hopes it would get better while we were out of town not only did they higher the rate but they removed her from the school without my knowledge. I can tell the young teachers there hate their jobs and clearly they’ll hire whoever .I guess it’s a blessing I disguise they removed my child . Truly a disappointed in the school over the time , and had only gotten worse . I do not recommend.

I used to work at Universal Learning Center as a VPK teacher, and I really did enjoy it, but I now work as an Elementary School teach. I want to say that most of the staff if very knowledgeable about best early childhood practices, as well as in early childhood development and education. There is at least one teacher in each room who is credentialed in Early Childhood Development. The staff is awesome with communication to the parents, and are honest about how your child is doing. Shelley is understanding of many situations and has many years of experience as a preschool director. It’s not a scammy business because price went up 20%, because Florida’s minimum wage has gone up by 20%. Due to this increase every business has to up the prices of their services/goods, in order to be able to pay their employees more. Groceries have gone up in price, as well as gas. If you don’t want to pay it, stay home, because every preschool is upping their prices.Universal is a great place to send your children for preschool, the curriculum is great, fun, and engaging. You’ll definitely be pleased with your child’s progress.

All of my kids have gone here my oldest who is 11 and now my two younger kids 4 and 2. The youngest started out in the baby room at 6 weeks old. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They all know both of the young ones even some of the dance girls. Its a family there and I love it.

Both my daughter and son go to daycare here. My son started in the infant room and my daughter started when she was one, she’s now in the VPK program. The teachers are so attentive, I feel like my kids are well cared for and I know my daughter has learned a lot from their education program. Keep up the great work!

I have overheard some parents discussing frustration about the increase in prices for ULC, I wish they understood the increase in minimum wage for businesses for 2021 requires the rates to go up. The prices of power/electric have increased. The prices of gas continues to rise, the prices at walmart/target/every where have increased. These places HAVE to raise their prices to be able to stay in business. My little one has been going to ULC for daycare and now VPK since 2020 and we have had a VERY good experience. The staff who work here are very deserving of the pay increase. And as frustrating as it is on the customers, it's necessary or the business will go under. As for my experience so far, the staff have been transparent and honest with me always. They have always brought to my attention any issues before they became problems. I have volunteered there several times and can say from hands on experience that they all give 100% to their jobs. I absolutely trust them with the care of my child.

Increased the price by 20% 4 weeks into the school year, after child is getting comfortable there. Pretty scummy business practice.

My son and daughter both attended daycare and preschool here. I was very happy with Shelley and Tony, as well as the teachers. My daughter continues to enjoy the awesome dance classes they offer.

My son started going to this daycare at 5 months old. He had been staying home with his grandmother before that. Everyone at A Universal Learning Center was so kind and wonderful. They made the transition to daycare so much easier for both baby and Momma!

We love this preschool and all they have to offer! We started a few months ago. The staff is always very friendly, and very responsive when I ask questions or have concerns. I can honestly full heartedly say that my children love their teachers, my daughter (2 years old) is always singing new songs and happy when I pick her up. My son (use to throw fits everyday @ our old school) is happy and thriving. He hasn’t had a meltdown since we started here. The director is always pleasant, and helpful with any questions I may have. I highly recommended this program.

As a mom of 4 children who have all attended A Universal Learning Center over a wide span of years, I can attest to the consistence of quality education that all of my children received during their time at this school. The teachers are kind, caring, competent, and wonderful with the children in their classrooms. Our littlest enjoys her day thoroughly, always bringing home "art work", projects, or new songs she has learned. The owners, Tony and Andrea, are trustworthy and supportive individuals who look out for the children's best interest, always. The director, Shelly, has been accommodating to any needs or issues that I have approached her with while also keeping the best interest of children in mind. As a bonus, the dance and gym classes offered here to the preschool aged children are essential to developing coordination, balance, and positive physical activity practices. My daughters, 14, 11, and 4, still attend this school for gymnastics and enjoy seeing Tony and Andrea frequently. I wouldn't have had my children anywhere else during such tender years. Leaving them with staff and owners that my husband and I knew we could trust was essential.

A Universal Learning Center is an amazing place. My oldest daughter just finished preschool there and I couldn't be happier. This past year was her first year going to school, and like any mom I was worried, but my worries were met with comfort. She had very welcoming teachers, who greated her each and everyday with a warm and welcoming smile. I know that this year my daughters teachers changed a bit. . . but my daughter was still able to learn and even though her environment changed a bit, my daughters experience and education were still a priority.
