Worst in the business. Went there to repair trim tabs, boat came back with the electrical box jacked up. Came back to fix their error on the electrical box, they bust the power pole, shooting fluid all over my boat and staining it. If they repair one thing, at least 3 things will break. Don’t bring your boat here.

If you are in the market for buying a boat I would highly recommend that you head to The Boat House in Port Charlotte before going anywhere else. We had the best experience ever with our sales associate, Bill Fischer. He made the whole process a pleasure, made sure we were prepared and properly equipped and made sure we knew we could call him anytime if we ever had further questions. From the first steps onto their property to the exciting day of delivery 5 stars are not enough for this company and their team!

Never again. I am a boat mechanic and buy thousands of dollars in parts every month. I needed fuel injector o-rings, simple enough. Went in, bought them, they had them in stock in the next room. Took all of 30 seconds to go get them. I received the wrong parts, I go back to return them 2 days later, unopened... I have to pay a 20% restocking fee!! I'll go put the parts back on the shelf my self, she said they could not avoid that. 30 seconds worth the work is worth 20 % of my refund. I needed about 750$ worth the parts as well as that return, I didn't bother.

Completely unsatisfactory customer service: Your employee gave my mechanic the WRONG part and then demanded a 20% restock fee when it was returned to be exchanged. I still need to a mess of parts... However will be taking my business to someone who won't charge me for THEIR mistake.

My husband and I have a Suzuki motor that required its 100 hour maintenance service so our warranty would be covered. Unfortunately we did not keep very good track on the hours and stopped in at The Boat House to inquire about how we would check the hours on the motor. The service person told us that a computer would need to be used to check it but that motors should really have an annual service regardless. My husband dropped the boat off and picked it up today. In reviewing the paperwork I noticed that there was no indication of the hours. I followed up with a call only to find out that after $981 we still do not know how many hours are on the motor. Apparently you need to request that (I thought we did). Make sure you are very clear about your expectations if your drop your boat/motor off for service. Seemed a bit pricey for annual service and we still don't know how many hours to verify, if need be, for warranty purposes.

The Boat House of Port Charlotte really went above and beyond when it came to finding my dream boat. Want to say a special thanks to Bill for all the help and answering a million plus questions. Chelsea for making me comfortable and understanding the complete buying process. Captain Steve for showing and explaining to me boating practices that I can use to safely navigate my boat with my family and friends. All three of these people also gave me many tips on boating that I will use now. Again thanks.

Just a quick note of thanks to Bill Fischer at the Boat House of Port Charlotte. I appreciated his approach from start to finish. We discussed the different options and accessories from the Garmin, Minn-Kota, jack plate, Power Pole, tandem axle trailer and last but not least the upgraded Suzuki 140 for my brand new Carolina Skiff 19LS. His attention to detail and proactive communication was a breath of fresh air when dealing with a purchase of this size. Thank You Bill!

Call me crazy. I live in North Carolina, but I keep a boat at my mother’s home in Punta Gorda. It was in need of a new outboard, and after much research, I called Boat House of Port Charlotte, discussed options, and had my mother tow the boat up there, having never met them, and knowing that I wouldn’t set foot back in Florida until probably months after the motor was installed. This boat is an old Boston Whaler that is not in excellent shape, and they could’ve easily done a terrible job and said “we did the best we could with your crusty old boat”, but I finally got down here to see the work and break in the motor, and they’ve done an excellent job. I could not be happier. Much thanks to Chris and everyone there for making this happen.

Joy, thank you for reaching out with your follow up call. The service experience Peter and I had with your team was exceptional. We met Justin at a Port Charlotte boat show and did not plan on buying a boat that day. Justin did an excellent job educating us and helping us buy a boat that day! He was patient and took a lot of time helping us. In our follow up conversations, he was very quick in his responses and was so thoughtful. Chelsea, in your business operation, did an excellent job as well. ,Very responsive and quick in her responses. Your team met the customer where we were. They were engaging, not pushy and we immediately trusted them! Cheers to the highest customer service standards I am used to from Nordstrom and the Ritz Carlton golden rules!! We also received your gift and we are very excited to use it on our first journey. Finally, Joy, your call after the process is a testament to the leadership and culture of service you and your associates are building at the Boat House and you obviously are hiring for service, engagement and customer experience. I just can’t tell you enough how impressed I have been with my boat purchase from the boat house in Cape Coral. From the moment we walked around the yard looking at boats until the 20 hour inspection it has truly been an exceptional experience with everyone we have met. Starting with Danny our salesman, professional, knowledgeable and caring. He just did everything he could to make our purchase easy. Today 6 months after the start of our boat shopping I can still call him with a question or two.I will tell you I was a little disappointed with the Godfrey (Hurricane) final inspection team, but again I was throughly impressed with the service team at the Boat House. I worked with Kim in the service department and she listened to my concerns and with the service team were able to accomplish all issues quickly. Finally, I received a follow up call from Joy on how I was doing, how was the boat and they sent me a little something for me as a customer. You don’t get this type of customer service and follow up everywhere, but you do at the boat house.

We brought our new boat from up north to Florida and was informed that a recall was issued on our Mercury outboard motor. We called and spoke with Karen and she went out of her way to make sure our recall was performed as quickly as possible. She even sent a mechanic to our boat to perform the recall . Keith was prompt and professional and explained everything he was doing and was very respectful to our boat . Such a great service experience and highly recommend them

Bill and all the great staff are truly exceptional. We purchased a new Godfrey pontoon and we added some extras. Bill and his team arranged a serious audio upgrade and contacted a reliable contractor to unfit our lift. Can’t say enough good things about them. Great place to buy!!! Thanks everyone!

My experience with the Boat house team in Port Charlotte was way beyond great.I have purchased a few boats in my time and let me tell you not a good experience . UntilI selected my 23ft sportsman from Justin at Boat house what a professional every step of the way the honesty, integrity and the updates throughout the process was so stress free and fun as it should be.It's rear when dealing with a company whether it's buying a car boat windows do you get the type of service that Justin and the team at a the boat house provides they do what the say and never disappoint.A 10 all the way.Thanks to Justin and the entire team at the boat house in Port Charlotte.Steve and Sue .
