I bought my 2015 Honda there and I always take it there for oil changes and other services. The service dept is full of professional, friendly and helpful people.

2017 with 90k miles & need new transmission & Honda will not do it for free!!

Don’t waste your time and money!!!
I felt comfortable and confident to purchase anything even small parts from this Honda until this happened! I bought a battery for my car on January 2023 . (Btw I should go to autozone or somewhere else lol) My car died 2 times called roadside service jumped car back and literally died in next day! I thought was the alternator issues because of I got 2012 odyssey until went to autozone ! Tested and replaced the “Honda genius” battery!
Because of the battery only 37 percent life!
Means like it’s a junk! After replacing the battery the they suggested me to try to claim the warranty for it ! It’s only 1 year old not even two but it’s significantly bulging!!!!!!!!!
Then went to this Honda . They said it does come with 100 months warranty lmao?! Means like you can claim your warranty anytime before 100 months (if you can past their” professional test”????????????
After their “professional test”
The results is 100 percent good to use !
Told them my situation, and they can’t do anything!
And they said they use the 1000 dollars multimeter to tested it and it’s good to use ????!
I got nothing to say anymore! Good job Norm Reeves Honda! If someone asking me about this store ! I’ll say never ever !!!! Unless wanna burn your wallet ???

We have bought three cars here and the process was long, but, had great salespeople. My issue is with the Service Dept. Took my car in Monday afternoon for an oil and transmission fluid change. I was told by Andrew it would be an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. After 2 and 1/2 hours I went to check. My car was sitting there ready to go, for who knows how long and Andrew had left for the day without saying a word!
Then on Tuesday I get a text message from Josh F. saying if I had any questions to text him. I had a question and no response. So I called this morning (Thursday)
to speak to the Service Manager. Jeanette took a message because of course he wasn’t available. It’s Thursday night and I’ve heard from no one!!! So frustrating. If and when I buy another car not sure it’ll be here.
Someone named John called Friday morning and left a voicemail, I called back and got his voicemail telling him I was at an appointment to please call after 11am and it is now Monday late afternoon and still no one has returned my call.
I received a phone call from John this morning. He apologized, telling me he spoke to the service staff. Which I greatly appreciated. Also I have to apologize, I got the times confused, as they have the time stamp for arrival and departure. I was wrong. It took an hour and a half. I’m very sorry. And changing my review to 5 stars.

Purchased a car and after driving one season 7 months total this car needs repair for another $6,000???
I think that's a crime to sell damaged car for a female base on lock of car knowledge of the buyer. We should protect the reputation not ruined the Honda name.
I don't think that's should be the way how dielership works. Be aware of the Port Charlotte Honda.

I really would like to leave a good review for this place unfortunately I am upset because not only was I at the dealership to buy a vehicle for over six hours. But they also ordered a plate for the vehicle which I have already had a plate that I can transfer over. I went into the shop to talk to the sales manager that I have already had a plate and he told me to give him a call on Monday so that he could get it fixed and I’ve left multiple voice messages on his answering machine and also reached out to another sales manager and left a voice message and I have not had a single call back and I don’t know if the issue is fixed and now I am out that money.

Want to give the highest recommendation and rating to Port Charlotte Honda. After having done extensive research and face to face “car shopping” - we walked into this dealership expecting the same “come at you” sales tactics and being paired up with the overly aggressive sales pitches. Well quite the opposite happened! My husband and I were in complete shock! Omar Richardson should be commended for what was the BEST car buying experience we’ve had here in Florida or in our home state of NY. From the minute we met Omar, until the final handshake, he was the epitome of excellence in every way! Omar was courteous, professional, and respectful. He worked very hard to get us the deal we wanted. And everything he said - was exactly what we were given. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Omar to anyone and everyone we know looking for a new Honda.
