“I hate having to deal with automotive services and repairs, but the needs of my car overshadowed my distaste. I was referred to A&E Auto Repair by another shop who felt my car needed services he could not accommodate. What a wonderful chance that he referred me to A&E.I was greeted warmly and throughly explained what they could do to help me. Adam and Sheila, at the front desk, put me at ease making the diagnostic appointment for just days later.When I arrived for the appointment again I was greeted, by name, which was pleasant. . They asked if there was anything else they could do to assist me, and I mentioned I needed an oil change…no problem and while they had it up on the rack, they could also rotate my tires for a very small fee.. Bravo!While the mechanics worked on my car, I spent my time in a very comfortable A/C waiting lounge, with excellent WIFI, cold water, coffee and plenty of magazines.When my diagnostic was complete, their staff had found the issue, and they gave me a couple suggestions and price quotes. Their proposal also included photographs of each area they checked. It was easy to understand, and easy to see the area they were referring to.I still have to decide how extensive I want to get with the repairs, but there was no pressure.It is wonderful to have this kind of experience doing something I normally dread. “Each and everytime I have came in with an issue they have been able to assist and assist rather quick. Had an oil change completed after other places said no because the car didn't have a dip stick (measured digitally) and was able to replace a tire in about 15 minutes just to name a few things u have had done by them.”

He literally diagnosed the problem and got the car in gear to get them home within minutes! He was so friendly, and genuine! “I went for an oil change August 12 th 2023 at 430 Pm after leaving work for the birth of my first grandchild in Tallahassee 6 hour drive from me in Port Charlotte Fl. That day was very hot, and I knew if I did not do the oil change I would be changing the drive and missing out on the birth. There was an absolute gem of a service tech there, a woman, the only one that I saw was female, unfortunately I did not get her name. I pulled up and explained that I left work to drive 6 hours for the birth of my grandchild as my child was in labor and at the hospital up there. She looked at me and got the rest of the crew there and got me out of there in ten minutes and checked everything over including tire pressures and resetting the light for oil change and making sure all my stuff like fluids filters etc were good to go. I am so grateful for that individual and her crew she works with. This place has earned a forever customer. Thanks to much. To top it all off the value for this oil change was definitely less than I would have paid for anywhere else including the dealership Lexus of sarasota where I bring my vehicle for it's tune ups etc including oil changes bc I did not think this would be as good as the dealership itself, it was hundreds of dollars less as far as if I had gotten everything done, mind you I didn't need air filters or anything else but the oil change. And my vehicle is full synthetic oil. Which is always more expensive than other types. I felt like I was treated like a vip and not being taken for more money bc I'm female and don't know as much about autos as generally a male does.”

“Went in to just get a new battery, in and out, not really, I was asked I'd I was going to wait, I said yes by the time they bring out the new battery I'll have this one out and ready for the new one, they said it would be an hour and a half wait, they said I'd have to wait for everyone in line first. So I went inside to the back service and sales area, got a battery, and replaced it myself ,then I had to wiggle my vehicle out of the line, you would think for a 160 dollar battery and 10 minutes of work they might have someone that could have done this, also next time I go in for a checkup, soon, I am going to have to replace the auto speed controll panel again, 3rd time I had to replace this they keep desinergrading for some reason and it's not parked in the sun ,always in the shade and if not I use a windshield visor.”

We had a emergency tire situation to Orlando for our honeymoon, they do appointment only on Sundays and were fully booked they heard we were trying to leave to get to our honeymoon and said they would squeeze us in immediately to get us out as quick as possible AND THEY DID!
