Custom ordered a door and installation through them because the contractor told us we would be scheduled for install in June when the door came in. Our entry door is broken from the hurricane so time is of the utmost importance so we can secure our house and not have water coming in when it rains. Once the door was in Home Depot never called to let us know, as they said they would, or made any communication to us or return my calls. Their contactor then told us they were scheduling for November! Now I am stuck with a $5k door only being refunded $500 of the install no permitting costs or anything and have to try to find a contractor to install a door that was purchased somewhere else and hope that their contractor measured correctly and the door will fit because now I also lose that guarantee that I paid for. This is a racket and a scam. Don't have any services done through here.

DO NOT order windows from this store!!!! The manufacture they work with is TERRIBLE!!!! We had to special order our living room window from them, placing the order back on October 5, 2020. When the three sections came in, the middle picture window part of it was damaged and had to be sent back to the manufacturer. When we started inquiring about it at the end of December, the store was told, by the window company, that it was going on the truck January 4th. That never happene

I won't complain just wished I could have had more help. But it was Saturday and everyone was there I only was able to get directions to the screw in hooks. Could not get help in paints they looked short on help and it was a busy Saturday afternoon. I was able to at least get folders of products to order and get someone to do later.

My landlord was nice enough to order a washer and dryer for the rental house I live in because our dryer has gone out , she ordered the washer and dryer online at homedepot.com, then set up a delivery for the Washer and Dryer. She then let me know they where going to deliver them to me and they had my number to call and let me know when they would be delivering it. I received a text message about when they were going to deliver the washer and dryer, the times were not going to work for me as I work 6 days a week 9-10 hour days, so I called the 1-800 number to let them know no one could be at the house till after 4:30 every day. The next day was when they said they would deliver the washer and dryer between the hours of 3-7:00, I then made another phone call to let them know that no one would be at the house till after 4:30, they called the delivery company and let them know. 2:30 comes along and I get a phone call they are 10 minutes from my house and they will be there. I again stated no one will be at the house till 4:30, so I made another phone call to the 800 number to which they transferred me to the delivery company in which they stated they can't wait around for someone to be at the house (which was between the hours of 3-7:00) that I would have to reschedule. I again let them know no one can be at the house until 4:30. The next day I again made another phone call to make sure they knew no one was there until 4:30 in which they again said it would be between 3-7:00 for the delivery, I then asked to make sure they would hang around close so as soon as we could we would get to the house. The delivery day comes and 2:30 again I get a call saying they are 15 minutes from the house. I again said no one is there, I then made another phone call to let them know no one was there and if they could wait for a short time I would try to get someone there. I then hung up and called the driver to let him know that my girl friend took off work early to meet him there, the driver then stated that he was too far away and couldn't come back (even though I had just talked to him 8 minutes prior when he said he was 15 minutes away from my house) I then called the 1-800 number once again and asked for a supervisor. In which I was then put on hold for 10 minutes only to have the operator come back on the phone and tell me they are trying to get the washer and dryer dropped off at my local store and then they could delivery it and I should get a call from the local store manager. It is a day and a half later and no phone call from the store manager. So now its almost a week later, several phone calls and still no washer and dryer and still do not know when they will be delivered. This has been a terrible experience and I would never order off Home Depot online and have it delivered. The delivery company is rude and will not try to work around your schedule at all. All they want to do is get there route done so they can go home. Customer Service phone number was not much help either they kept putting off on the delivery company. So I guess I will wait for a phone call from the manager and hope I get the washer and dryer my landlord paid for....

You're associates should not be rude. If a customer doesn't want to use self check out the employee shouldn't be rude about it.

Purchased appliances in Fort Lauderdale to have them delivered to Punta Gorda, as usual the Home Depot sales person was fine, but the installation and delivery people are princesses, they refused to install a dishwasher. The reason is because the original lines are run behind a small 20 inch cabinet from the dishwasher to under the sink. This is where the existing lines are, but alas it was too much for them. Installers were Y&E pro Every time I purchase an appliance from Home Depot the problem always lies with the installation people. I have had to hire other people to install an appliance after paying Home Depot to install it because the installation people will not do anything but plug it in. If there is the slightest chance of a problem, they refuse to install the appliance. Of course no one knows any of this until the appliance gets to the house.

I had a horrible experience at this store from a sales representative. I suffer from PTSD and one of my trauma has become agoraphobia. I came to this store to retrieve materials to build a garden bed that is a part of my therapy when I went to get the wood cut the sales rep that featured his name LONNIE (brown straight ear lengthen hair and glasses) appeared that he had a problem serving me, he ignored my presence and attended to other patrons. I had to scream to just get his attention, he had very passive aggressive behavior. As a person suffering from trauma it was very hurtful and an awful human experience to have to encounter from someone who works there!

Unfriendly staff. Check-out clerk at the garden center never greeted customers. She has a stone cold attitude to everyone. Beside, Home Depot doesn't honored Military discount across the board as Lowe's. I won't shop at HD anymore. To all veterans in Port Charlotte, Lowe's is just 1 block away from this HD. Go to the place that appreciate your service. I know I will.

I've been in the Port Charlotte home depot probably a dozen times in the past three months, with unusual projects and problems. I've had fantastic suggestions with snags I've run into with my projects.

Friendly staff in store, but the online ordering is terrible. My 3 items were delivered to the store on different dates. When I finally got the 3rd item after 2 wks there was a part missing. Instead of being able to order a replacement I was informed to bring it in for refund and start the order process all over. Forget it. I'll spend $5 more and get it in a few days from amazon.
