I am new to the area and my A/C was not working in my truck. I took it to the Ford dealer and I was shocked at the quote. Quickly I scanned the local shops and found one that was highly rated - Franks Family Car Care. Joe and I spoke about checking it out and he gave me a ride home so that they could get an early start on it. Later in the day he gave me a quote and I approved it. It was completed the next day, while working on it he noticed it was due for an oil change, the air filter and cabin filter were also long overdue for replacement. He was able to accomplish all of that very close to the original quote. I thought maybe he forgot to add in the additional work but it was included. That is a clear sign of honesty, he has earned my trust!

Professional, honest in diagnosis and reasonably priced. Frank’s family care offered us a vehicle until our vehicle would be ready. Never heard of this before!

I can not add to the reviews but support the testaments. During a recent family crisis and having transportation being critical the compassionate response from Joan and Joe was overwhelming. The diagnosis and repair almost immediate, topped with a reasonable price. I am grateful!!! Thank you.

Fast and friendly and you can drop it off after they are closed if your working late.

The experience I had today, as a first time client, has made me decide to bring our fleet of company trucks here. From the office manager to the customer service to the no pressure to get more done….what an experience. Communication was off the charts. Everyone…oil change and car care… go see Joe immediately. He is my new mechanic and offers the best service.

Since moving to Port Charlotte, they have been our mechanics. on occasion, they have identified a problem. and called to recommend an additional service. They corrected the problem with service and parts. We will be going back when needed.

No complaints. Very friendly and honest and took the time to explain everything from the problem to the cost to repair it.
Took my truck to them because it was running rough and I couldn't find the problem. They looked at the truck immediately and searched for the problem. It was a very difficult problem to diagnose but he found it within a few hours. Explained the problem and cost to repair it and approximate time for the repair itself.

Back brakes were grinding!! Found this repair shop so decided to take my diesel truck there. I couldn’t believe how quick I could get in and they did a fabulous job. We’re from Duluth, Mn. and we’re leaving for back home March 1st so very happy we could get brakes done!! Friendly and fantastic to work with Franks Family Car Care?

Excellent honest business for my vehicle repairs. I will always bring my vehicles here, as it's difficult to find a mechanic like Joe that you can trust has your best interest in mind.
