Worst bank I've ever dealt with. They opt to supply businesses, but never have enough change to do so. They claim they're so busy, don't answer phones and when you get there, they're not. They're always understaffed. Their rating is so low for a reason. I'd never bank with them personally. Chase Bank is surely the way to go.

I opened an account just before the holidays. Joseph helped me sign up, get a checking and savings open. Was a sad time after loosing my father. He was incredibly polite, informative, well dressed, (which you don’t see often in southern Florida) respectful.He just called me to check up two months later. After 5:30 I might add! I cannot at all say the same for Chase. Not to mention the three week hold Chase puts on a check when all they need to do is call Fifth Third to make sure money is in the account. I’ll be switching all my accounts to Fifth a third.Mary

I went into a branch in Port Charlotte today to cash a check of $7500 and this bank wants to charge me 2% of that check in order to do their job and cash it because I didn’t have an account at fifth third bank oh my god what is this country coming to where a bank is now taking our hard earned money for no excuse but to add to their bottom line I’m sorry but this bank should be ashamed of themselves their way of helping the community fix this is to have us open an account with them cannot believe this I would never ever open an account at this back

My favorite 5/3 branch in SW Florida. The folks here are nothing short of amazing, and Jessica especially has been the kind of help you think only exists in commercials. Her advice and assistance has been the key to my financial success. Highly recommend them for your banking needs.

My wife and I have done our banking here for seven years and have always felt that we were well taken care of. In fact, Cynzia, one of the tellers, recently saved me from a scam (which shows a high level of attentiveness and personal care). Perhaps it's because we're "regulars," but in over seven years I've had none of the negative experiences to which many attest.

Most people find it easy to respond to service that doesn’t please them ........I’m so surprised to read some of the comments as I find them so wrong !!! The service at the kings highway fifth third bank is extraordinary .....during these difficult COVID times it’s so hard to take care of people ....drive thru customers take a lot of time when they normally would go inside ......the drive thru employees are just wonderful ....cordial happy and always thorough..........Jessica Pentland in particular has been there for us in so many waysOn line - in person - window .......personal account and business account .......everyone count to ten ....take a breath ......relax .......I don’t know what I would do without these employees you have at the kings highway branch !!!!!

Jessica lives up to her reviews. Drove 25 minutes to open checking account and there was one customer in the bank, she told me that she had a customer coming in 20 minutes and I should make a appointment and come back. I explained the drive took me 25 minutes, didn't matter. Called 1 800#, they were willing to set it up. Only problem I have cash. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to open checking account. Bad business!
