One star only because you have to, this pharmacy department at this cvs is the biggest joke, I have never in my life seen so many lazy people working in one spot, 3 people in the pharmacy department, no one inside to help I sat at the drive thru window for 15 minutes while they laughed and pointed not coming to the phone to say it will be a minute or anything, I drove around and parked, went inside and asked what was going on and the toothpick blonde with glasses says we only have so many people, so I look around and wonder what? How many people does it take to help one customer? I said there is 3 of you back there and not one of you could find the time to provide me the service you get paid for? This place is disgusting should be shut down, should vet these employees better, I will never have my prescriptions filled here ever again, feel sorry for whoever has to use this pharmacy!! What a joke!!!

Not a wonder this pharmacy has 3 stars…\\nI called to see the status of a mail order override to this pharmacy and the lady said that they couldn’t cut me in front of any other patients needing the same this as I..\\n\\na mail order delay RX to be sent to this pharmacy.. I was flabbergasted when the lady on the phone told me they couldn’t cut me in front of HUNDREDS OF OTHER PATIENTS…\\n\\nmy question is??? How many patient are going without their medication because of the hundreds of pages full of people on a waiting list.. her words not mine..\\n\\nwhat seems to me by observing when I came in to place my request and then calling to get status and waiting on hold for a long while…is that these are lazy people who could care less about being helpful in the retail pharmacy field they work in… have some compassion and also do your job that way the list of hundreds long will slow get down to just a few..

0 stars The way they treat consumers with state insurance Florida medicate is unbelievable I have a family member that was in the hospital had surgery got out was sick and in alot of pain she needed her antibiotics and other medications to treat her sickness and surgery ok 1st off no we didn't get any pain medication filled there they will not fill it so we just had to throw it out it took them 3 days to fill 2 antibiotics for her 3 days after she had left the hospital you people At this CVS are rude and lazy and if anything worse happens to someone else because you pick and choose who you fill is on you I am so ready to go to the paper and news about this CVS I literally sat there for 3hr to make sure I wasn't overreacting I seen people come in and get filled asap and a couple drops offs and pick up in a matter of 15 to 30min but she had to wait 3 days for 2 antibiotics crazy she didn't want to say something I am you are the worst pharmacy in Charlotte County hands down

Everyone in the pharmacy gave me that burgen town vibe. 1 tech was on the phone making faces as a customer was talking, rolling her eyes ect. The male at the drive thru could careless about his job there. The pharmacy Manger kept telling out that her staff needed to help answer phones. If you are wondering what burgen town is...watch trolls. I'll stay with publix.

Twice in one month two separate doctors called in multiple prescriptions for two separate occurrences.1 was a horrible cough that my doc prescribed a steroid, an antibiotic and a cough syrup with an opioid.I went to pick it up and there was no cough syrup. The never called to tell me this and by that time the docs office was closed. This Time I had oral surgery. Once again one of three were missing. You guessed it the opioid.This time I was able to get the Doc and she DID send it.No call saying the were allegedly out.This place sucks. My opinion is if your against filling opioid scripts because of week ass people, get out of the business. I was told by doctors this is a habit of CVSOnce a reliable pharmacy is now shot in my opinion. Piss off

My physician called in a prescription for me and the next day CVS texted me and said it was ready. I went through the drive through to pick it up and I got fast courteous service. A+

Hands down the worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. I NEVER used them for a pharmacy until I got covid and needed somewhere close to my home to fill a prescription for antibiotics and steroids. I was calling to see if I could be notified somehow when my prescription was ready and was trying to ask if I could just purchase baby aspirin thru the pharmacy drive thru so I wouldn’t have to go inside but I kept getting hung up on by pharmacist and had to physically go into the store to ask why I was being treated that way. Now they’ve called my phone 3 different times after and won’t leave me alone because I told them all off NEVER AGAIN.

Pharmacy employees out and out lie, will get into a shouting match with the customer, and then tell the customer to leave. Employees don't know how to treat and talk to customers. I guess that's expected when hiring people from the bottom of the gene pool.

This is got to be the worst pharmacy in Port Charlotte. Student side in line for 45 minutes and still wasn't near the front... Went outside to the drive-through and was told that line one and two were the only ones open line 2 has a cone in front of it. Three people ahead of me and we haven't moved in 30 minutes. If I could give them no stars I would!

I don't know if this is typical for CVS's in general because this is a chain, but the service is horrible, just the worst I've ever experienced in impersonal, auto-generated, time wasting nonsense instead of real customer service for people who are dealing with them for medicines. This is the third time I have attempted to call and get through to a human being to no avail. I'm currently on hold for 30 minutes listening to an automated message that breaks in every few seconds with telling you how to make an appt. for a flu shot or covid vaccine. I first tried to connect with the pharmacy department, when that didn't work I tried to connect with the front store. When someone answered in the front of the store & I asked for pharmacy hours, they put me on hold without saying anything. I would expect someone who works anywhere in CVS to know that information and give it immediately. Now, when someone answered the phone after THIRTY-FIVE minutes of me holding with a pounding headache from the automated message played a hundred times, I asked why the long wait? I was told each person that calls can take up to ten minutes with 'needs.' Sorry CVS, this is a piss poor excuse. They actually cause people medical issues with the unprofessional lack of service. I'm livid that my insurance makes me fill my prescriptions with this wretched place. I'll opt for mail order.

I believe this is the worst pharmacy I ever dealt with. They never answer the phone. Tried many to times to call was on hold for over 10 minutes each time. Went into the store could hear the recording telling the staff that there was a call waiting to be answered. No one even made an attempt to answer. Staff is very uneducated re: medication and their generic names. Tried to fill a prescription which I knew had a generic. Needless to say walked out with out my prescription.

I too would give this CVS a minus 5 stars if I could. Never been to a slower pharmacy. They actually called me yesterday and said my prescription was ready for pick up. The NEXT day about 3pm used my work break to go pick it up and they said it was not ready yet but if I wanted to wait they'd yet it ready in 15 minutes. So I got back in line right away because I now how slow they are. I was still 2 people back when they finally called my name. Lady in front of me was angry also. Same problem!!! I will never use this pharmacy again and unless you have LOTS of time to waste neither should you!!!

Mostly very nice people, sometimes a little stressed because they are so busy. But still very nice. Very helpful with information about saving money too.
