We have taken our senior Labrador, Maggie, to Port Charlotte Camp Bow Wow a number of times. The thing that I love is that Maggie tries to push open the door with her big nose! That doesn’t always happen and it tells me something about how she feels about coming here.We are grateful for the care our Old Girl gets at Camp Bow Wow!

The staff are very nice, but there are no real activities for the dogs. The dogs wander around and hopefully find another who they want to play with.

Love this place. Only place I will leave my dogs while I travel.

I bring my dog here a few times a week and I always know she is well taken care of! They do cute little photo ops and event days to keep things interesting. They really do have the dogs best interests at heart and it shows. I love this place!

The girls did a great job introducing my dog to the other dogs as this was a new experience for him and he is a large boy. The place was clean and I could watch my dog from one of many monitors. So glad I was referred to them.

I love this place! So does my grand-pup! Affordable. Easy parking. Flexible beyond belief. And great care of our beloved furry friends!

Called about bringing our 4 month old pup in, explained to them his shots were due the following day and they told us it was okay to bring his papers after his appointment and to go ahead and come in. Once we arrived we filled out his paper work and was asked for his shot records, I explained I had just spoken with them about it but told us he needed certain shots to go back. I was understandable, though slightly annoyed that I had wasted the time, however I admire the need/demand of healthy dogs in the facility. We take him to get all of said shots required (not free) and bring him back again the following day (a 40 minute trip both ways) for them to tell us he wouldn’t be allowed to board because he seemed uncomfortable and they “didn’t want to scar him for life” I can’t imagine any pet “wants” to be left with strangers. Told us to take him to a dog park and maybe try again. Completely defeats the purpose of trusting someone to keep our baby happy and calm while we have to be out of town if he’s turned away for not being interested enough in other peoples pets.

After being a bit nervous during his daycamp interview, Goose walked right in when we boarded him for a few days. We watched on camera and he would play with other dogs, but mostly seemed relaxed in that environment. It was good for him to socialize with other dogs and the staff at Camp Bow Wow took good care of him. We'll definitely use Camp Bow Wow again.

Camp Bow Wow was just what my boy needed. On these hot days it is difficult to get him a good long walk. He also benefits from socialization with the other pups. The staff at Camp Bow Wow were very friendly and the facility was clean and welcoming. It was great to be able to watch my boy from the video feed to make sure he was being good and having fun. Thanks Camp Bow Wow, for taking such great care of my baby.

What a peace of mind knowing our pet was well taken care of during our vacation! The staff was extremely friendly during the interview and overnight stays. We really enjoyed the ability to watch our little guy on cams. We knew our little guy enjoyed Camp Bow Wow since he was excited once he saw the building. Life saver for those that need overnight care for your pet or just a few hours. I recommend arriving early since spots fill up fast.

I take my Yorkie there. Also took my previous 2 Yorkies there. It’s clean and I can watch my dog ? on the camera in the app or online. The only negative thing is that no one plays with the dogs. No toys ? Also not sure why, but all 3 Yorkies came home from boarding overnight for 3 nights, and were vomiting ? and had diarrhea for 5 days. Never sick after spending a few hours in the daytime there. They think maybe all 3 Yorkies had anxiety. Hmm ? I won’t board overnight anymore. Daytime is ok

The staff are knowledgeable about dog behavior and safely introduce dogs to each other, being present for safety but let the dog interact without encouragement or discouragement. When I left my dog with them, I felt comfortable they made a well educated judgement that he was a good fit.
