I was told at Customer service that my membership expired the end of this month. I told her l don't want to renew, and want refund membership charged earlier this month. She refunded the fee but not returned the card. I told her my membership expired the end of this month so l still can use 19 days that I already paid. She refused to give my card back, said it was policy.

I specifically bought a discount membership for a few items. Naturally the pork roll disappeared right after I joined. Asked a meat clerk when it would be in again. While walking away he said “maybe tomorrow, maybe Monday or Tuesday”…useless.I wanted small amounts of deli to try their lunch meats. The girl didn’t show thickness, didn’t offer samples, didn’t smile, was VERY obviously miserable, and moved so slow it had to be deliberate…also useless.However I called the meat/deli today. After a hold a VERY nice man helped me!The club is nice and very clean and I had a good interaction with a few employees.I’m new so I may revise this. But the deli clerk really is a deterrent for this club.

Service:In store Staff is friendly, always ready to help. BJ's Travel staff has been a different story. They were great when booking our cruise. But after the cruise we were promised up to $500 gift card for using their travel. We have have made 6-8 phone calls, given multiple answers or run around about the reward. Each time we are told the reward gift card is in the email. We have never received it nor have we gotten an answer as to why or how much we are supposed to receive. Since they do not have a customer service number to discuss our issue we are having to speak out via social media. Selection: BJ's stores are always fully stocked. If for some reason we don't find what we are need of the staff has been great and very helpful. Value: Their prices can't be beat.

I recently bought tires at BJ's in Port Charlotte & had a nail in one of my tires a few days later. Steven assisted me with taking the tire off the rim and repairing it from the inside. He was very polite and professional to me. He even filled my other 3 tires up, because they were also low. Steven had great customer service & had me in and out within 20 minutes. Thanks Steven - I appreciate you!

I got my membership after the hurricane. I had Sam's for over 25 years. I wanted to try something new. The gas station is the hardest to use. The card reader is impossible. People are always complaining while I'm getting gas. I've had to help people and I've needed help to just scan my card. The store is nice. It is very clean. It is hard to find a person on the floor to help with any questions. I don't like that you have to clip coupons or add the discount to the app. I think their prices are high. I check items on my phone and I'm not getting a deal at this store. I will be canceling my membership and going back to Sam's and Costco. I like their inventory and prices more. Update as of August 2023. Very rude help at customer service. I will not recommend this store to anyone

I've been a member at BJ's since they opened. Not renewing my membership for several reasons. I continue to get extra attention for reasons they practice. I guess they're being taught that all black men steal. What they don't know is that I don't have money problems and don't steal! I've switched to Sam's club, and can't wait til Costco opens across the street in Wellen Park development. O, and their prices are beat 85% of the time by Sam's Club!

Very disappointed today. One person working the deli slicing meat. Felt sorry for the young man doing everything himself. He held it together. I waited for over 45 minutes. Will be thinking twice about renewing my membership. This is not in season yet either!

If you buy the Polar 5 gallon jugs beware. I was under the impression they were $2.50 net cost after returning the empty jug. Turns out it's $7.49 plus a $5 "deposit" which you get back. I pointed out to the cashier this was false advertising and the price should be $12.49 for the product. The only reason I noticed this was I needed a member at the self checkout, and the 4 jugs total price was $50 shouldn't it be $30???? Anyways, years ago I used to buy this same product for $4.99 and there would be a $5 voucher for returning the jug. THAT used to be a good deal, not $12.49 a jug.

Just got an offer to join at a discount. In the teeny nearly unreadable print on the back page it says "you must submit to auto-renew, using the credit card you first used, payable on the first day of the last month your membership is set to expire."Pretty sneaky of course.Auto-renew itself is bad because what if you're dissatisfied with your first year membership.. you are stuck and have surrendered the right for them to charge your card.Shame on them.Sam's Club is worse..if you refuse auto-renew all year, an employee on a computer there will just install that permission for you!

Loving the club, but the AT&T needs to stop harassing people!!!! please do something about this!!! Had my wife and kids followed by their reps trying convince to switch over,after telling them we are not interested at all!!!

There is one reason. We continue to come to BJs in PC.....it is Cheryl Priddee. She's an amazing customer service representative. She helped us with an online order we had for an outdoor set and all of a sudden became a friend. Every time we entered the store, she knew our names and wanted to make sure we were happy. She is an awesome person to have representing your store. Thank you Cheryl.

If I could give a negative five stars, I would some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Very rude from the door reader all the way to the customer service desk I'm glad we got our membership on a discount because we will never be back I encourage everybody to go down to Sam's. And Costco is coming by the end of the year.

Great store for shopping and the price are lower than Publix and Sam’s Club.The store is really clean, the items and food are properly stocked.BJ is much better than Sam’s Club and the employee are friendly and helpful.

No cafe, no samples, lack of diversity for item selections, AWFUL in-store prepped food, rude employees, and until today, the gas station was the only worthwhile part of this place, but after being berated by an extremely rude gas attendant, I will just continue to drive a couple of extra minutes to Sam's, as I have been doing. I only got a membership because of the $10 T-Mobile Tuesdays offer, and that is exactly what this store is worth.
