I had misgivings going into this branch as my last experience with them was not pleasant to say the least. But it was on my way and I had 15 checks to deposit for our medical practice which needed to clear right away. First teller I went to was nice enough to give me options as to how to deposit the checks without our deposit slip. She handed me a BofA generic dep slip and instructed me to list all checks individually but specifically said not to bother totaling as they'd do it for me. So I moved to an available window without a teller to proceed with this process. When I got back in line, I got a different teller hoping to finish my transaction. Soon as this 2nd teller saw multiple checks on my hand and a deposit slip without a total, she didn't waste time to make it clear that she won't total the checks for me and that I have to do it myself. "Ok", I said, "but would you check my addition and double check the total? You know I was told by the first teller not to bother totaling the checks as she'd gladly do it for me". What I relayed to her had no effect on this 2nd teller whose name rhymes with Laurel. Told her my company is a good customer of the bank plus I have a hefty deposit that at least entitles me to a decent customer service especially if she wants me to go back and make more deposits at their branch. What I said went on deaf ears, no suggestions, no options to make it easier for me. She insisted she can't double check my total, period. I left her window and went to the previous teller who then reassured the 2nd teller that I was relaying to her the truth. This woman didn't acknowledge anything she was told, wont even look my way. Yet she was entertaining customers after customers and being extra friendly and nice to them. My question is why would totaling a customer's check deposits be perfectly ok and willingly offered by one teller and absolutely refused to be offered by another. My conclusion, this 2nd teller whose name rhymes with Laurel discriminates who she offers quality services to and I have just been discriminated on. Oh by the way, I am Asian but can perfectly understand English as well as I can speak it. That was not a misunderstanding like how her supervisor was trying to paint, it was blatant discrimination. So if you want indiscriminate and consistent quality service all the time, DON'T GO TO THIS BRANCH.
