I have only had my laminated flooring for one and a half years and the flooring has a lot of discoloration, scratches and doesn’t look good. I spent over $10,000 dollars for the flooring and installation.
(major financial sacrifice ).
The company that installed my flooring did a good job.
However, a claim was put in to Southland Floors to honor the warranty and the company refused to honor the claim and warranty. In addition, the inspector that was sent out by their company to examine the damages, sided with them. He stated that the glossy spots are consistent with polish having being apply to the flooring after installation.
I live alone, and do not any small children or animals and very few visitors. I even used the polish/product that was recommended to use on the flooring and have someone to come on a regular basis to clean the floors.
I am very disappointed and unhappy with the flooring and company and would not recommend Southland flooring to anyone.

I’m a vendor for there products. I purchased a vinyl laminate floor for my house. It was nothing like they told me. The floor is literally falling apart and it’s only a few years old and when I called them up to find out about the warranty they basically gave me a hard time and I am a vendor, and told me that I had to have their inspector come out and look at it which to me is a joke because he’s going to side with them and I’m looking to get my 4000+ dollars back for 2000 ft.² of floor that I purchased. I recommend that Nobody purchase their products because this is a company that does not stand behind it.
