Had appointment yesterday. Office was dirty and the Doctor's greed was apparent as in the last review....all about money. When I questioned him, he compared me to "poor" people and told me "I'm probably in the upper _% of the population" which isn't even true. Then he filled out my paperwork wrong and I had to take the time out of my schedule to go back. Most unprofessional experience with an eye doctor I've ever had.

For several days already I've been trying to phone Dr. Panchal's office but the call goes to a voicemail THAT IS FULL!! Is there anybody who could check this, PLEASE!!!

They send calls straight to voicemail. You’ll wait approximately 2 hours and then your entire appointment is rushed.

After taking my grandmother to her regular optician the last time , she told her that writing her a script for new glasses was futile as her cataracts were severely damaging her vision and she recommended Rand. I called Rand to set an appointment but they didn’t take my grandmother’s insurance so I had to call around to find an ophthalmologist in her network. Florida eye and laser under the management of Doctor Panchal welcomed her with open arms and she did both of her cateract surgeries with him in a matter of months. The staff is friendly and helpful and my 85 year old grandma now has better eyesight than I do.Dr. Panchal takes great care of his patients and don’t mind the wait, It is just evidence of how good a doctor he is.

I went to Dr Panchal for a presurgery visit today. The office only provides Covid safety measures when they see fit. Posted sign to wear masks but some patients not doing so. 6 foot distancing but only 3 to 4 ft between chairs. After waiting approx 30 min, 6 more people came into office but not enough chairs in waiting area. A very rude female staff member came charging in and told me I and one other person needed to go wait outside as there were too many people in the room. When I questioned this , was told I was in a chair that should be outside.(???) Mind you I’m a senior citizen and weather was hot and humid. I grudgingly went out and waited another 20 min after which I went in to ask when I’d be seen. Answer: “you’re next”. Wait another 15 min then another receptionist came to door and rudely motioned me with hand gestures to go in, absolutely no verbalIzation from her! This was totally uncalled for. Receptionists always unfriendly, unsmiling and curt whenever I go there and ONLY because I like the Dr.

My first visit was 45 minutes wait. My next appointment I walked in on time and it looked like the waiting room was full. I said, how long will I have to wait? They replied, 40 minutes. I booked an alternate appointment for the earliest they open so I won't have to wait and i left. I received a call a day before the appointment and the employee was kind enough to inform me that they would be running behind so come half an hour later. I was pleased for the attention to detail. However, when I showed up on time, they made me wait 45 minutes again!So, the doctor comes in and says," I'm going to put drops in your eyes and make you wait 40 minutes before we start."... REALLY?These guys have a 45 minute wait addiction!My conclusion is that it's not incompetence from the office appointment maker at all. It's the doctor's greed overbooking appointments as a SOP. However, to make up for the inexcusable time theft, the doctor gives free medication that would normally cost money.If you like waiting 45 minutes or more for an appointment, then this is the place for you.

I have had glasses an contacts for 20yrs of my life, I been to multiple places an by far this is best doctor ever been too. Definitely would recommend to my friends, family and anyone reading this review. So satisfied with the care that when I get my lasik procedure, he will be the one performing it. 10 of out 10!!

Dr. Panchal is a fine cataract surgeon. You can easily see that his attention to detail in his office will pay off and it did big time. My vision is spectacular following surgery and I am actually looking forward to completing the experience with my right eye next. I trust him and think he is a terrific doctor.
