My Father received an Electric Wheelchair. Fed ex was supposed to bring to his apartment. Even though it states on the package to deliver to the door, the driver left it in the lobby. My Father called Fed ex and they told him to hire someone. He is handicapped. I live in FL he lives in CA. Have a heart.

Horrid customer service!! Not so much service reps fault, but FedEx procedures.

They have lost 2 separate packages sent to me this past year. Somewhere between the main pompano location and the delivery truck they disappeared. I almost always use UPS or USPS with no issues. The occasional times the shippers use fed ex I have problems. And forget about getting anyone on the phone. And if you figure how to get someone on the phone they are from a foreign country and they know nothing. They just read from the screen. It's awful. Never use Fed ex. They are going down hill, fast.

If I was able to give 0 stars I would. The people (including management) do not know how to do there job at this location. I will never personally use FEDEX; you might as will use the USPS!

I created a UPS so I never have to deal with FedEx again.I never knew how convenient UPS was until I experienced FedEx shipping. I still haven't received my package nor can I pick up in person! You can call customer service and explain your situation to them and they'll work with you and make you think your package is ready for pickup by a certain time, but it's not. Or you can call to see if they can deliver your item at a better time frame for you; nope. The FedEx app sucks you only get notified after you miss your package. I have both UPS and FedEx and The UPS app is better in so many ways to list. All in all, Just Save yourself the stress, ship With anyone else besides FedEx it's worth it in the end!

Staff is clueless on there own policies. I guess it makes sense why they have a 1 star review. I would sooner switch all my business to UPS before i use this location again.

Terrible service. Terrible phone customer service. They have had my package since Sunday (it is now Friday) and they're saying they cant deliver til Saturday. Don't deliver packages. Give false reports. Celena was snarky in assisting. Do not do business with them.

Called ahead to pick up an order where I was told the request was confirmed and made to be picked up. After arriving I was told the package was sent back to the shipper because the person who came in for the next shift wasn't aware it was for pickup which is ridiculous. Now I have to wait for my packaged to be returned and reorder again.

I shipped took four days is unacceptable. You may not know that FedEx has adopted this policy because I sure didn't know otherwise I would have used UPS or the US Postal Service and got it much sooner for much less money. Do not use FedEx for overnight delivery service. When they say that they absolutely positively will get it there overnight they are lying. Janice Scalza, Rockford Michigan

went there to pick up a package and went to the wrong 1. I went 2 minutes away and found the right 1 and i walked in the guy told me i had the wrong door and to go out this door and go in the next door. I go in the next door nothing telling you what to do and i see a phone sitting there i pick it up and a women answered i explained their supposed to be open until 7:30. She tells me i can't get my package because they don't have the man power and that they closed at 6:00. I said i was told you closed at 7:30 plus the website saids 7:30. She didn't Want to hear it. I spoke to another gentleman he said thats a lie. That area is bad and there was a guy sleeping on the bench that woke up watching me i was scared for my life at that time at night. I am very unhappy with this place. I was treated unfairly.

I recently returned an expensive piece of jewelry to a company in FL. I made the mistake of sending it via FedEX. The package made it to Pompano Beach and was placed on the truck for delivery...and then, by some mystery, it disappeared. Tracking status showed it on the truck for delivery for days so I called for an explanation. After fighting an automated system to reach a human, I spoke to someone who promised a call from the facility in FL. within an hour...I got the call 8hrs later. I was told by an employee in FL. that they don't know where the package is and will investigate. She also told me they would give me text messages to update me on this investigation (I have yet to hear from them over a week later). I filed a claim and my claim was promptly denied, despite the fact I have photos of the receipts for the shipping and the item, and photos of the package with the new label. I battled my way through the automated system to reach a human and was told my claim was denied because the photo of the receipt of purchase wasn't clear enough (it was) and I needed to fill out another form. When I asked what form and where I could get it, I got "Google it". Sent them new pictures and the new form I had to search for. Called right after to make sure everything was received and correct. The employee tells me all is clear and correct and that's all they need. That was yesterday, today I got another denial on my claim. Now they say the facility I dropped the package off to needs to file the claim. Huh? Why would a shipping company need to file a claim on an item they have no financial liability for? And if that's the case, FedEX would have denied the claim for that reason the first time around. Apparently, FedEX likes to steal thousands of dollars from customers. As this money was used to buy a special gift for my mother, who recently lost her husband of 55 years, I find this behavior beyond disgusting. Unlike FedEX, I can't easily dismiss $6750. I am heartbroken, as I will not be able to replace this. 12/28 - So, the saga continues. The shipping company, which is not financially liable, filed the claim...and of course, no word yet. Received a voice message from a FedEx representative telling me to get the shipper to file and, after an "exhaustive" search, the package could not be found. Of course, there is no explanation for how a package scanned, and placed on a delivery truck, simply vanishes from that truck. Further research into FedEx makes it clear they are not held responsible for their own actions. The customer is the only one held responsible. Here's how it works: FedEx profits no matter what they do. If the customer can't shill out $100s in shipping insurance, FedEx employees get a free bonus when packages vanish from trucks and the customer has no recourse. If the customer can shill out the dough for the shipping insurance, FedEx gets paid extra for shipping an item and the customer will find it very difficult to get compensation when the insured item is "lost". There is no guarantee the customer will receive the full amount declared or insured. In essence, the burden is always on the customer.
