Along Copans Rd., Family Budget Supermarket is located in a small plaza with other businesses. The parking lot is very compact. On the outside, it looks like a Caribbean market, but once I stepped inside, all I could hear was Haitian-Creole being spoken throughout the place...ok, so this was a Haitian spot and I don't know how to speak the language. Definitely felt like a fish out of water. A part of me wanted to walk out of there, but I'm already here so I might as well make some observations and write a review on Google. The place was packed with people stuffing their carts/baskets with meats, seafood, provisions, herbs, peppers, seasonings, etc. I can only imagine the meals these people will be making in their homes. I don't know much about the Haitian culture, but it seems this supermarket offers all the necessary products from their country. After browsing around, I managed to pick up a bunch of bananas to make smoothies and a couple of juices. Prices looked reasonable. There were only two cashiers so I had to wait in line. Though it was an unusual experience, I did receive pleasant service.

How did I learn about this supermarket? Basically from an app I mostly use to earn cash back on gas purchases. There's also selective restaurants I can earn cash back from and now it's beginning to add grocery stores.Along Copans Rd., Family Budget Supermarket is located in a small plaza with other businesses.
