Maybe better suited for small dogs, I brought a 50lbs golden doodle for a clean up (he did have some matting under the muzzle and on his neck) instead of dematting him( or at least giving him a streamlined cut). They chose to shave the fur on his head down, cut huge patches in other areas and send him home looking like a tiny head big body pup. His ears were not cleaned (one of the main reasons I take him for grooming) the fur on his paws chopped, even the fur at the tip of his tail chop for no reason at all and he hasn’t stopped itching since he was groomed yesterday. I’m not sure if he even got a thorough bath because he didn’t look as clean as he normally does after a groom. I honestly think they didn’t have the time or capacity for my dog and I wished I’d continued using petco. Also noted even after grooming they kept calling my male dog a she. I’ll attach pics of my dog before the grooming, after, and what he normally looks like when groomed.

We have been going to Cool Cuts for MANY years for both Shih Tzus. Dogs NOT in crates. Adrienne, owner is very sweet and professional, and Loves all the dogs. Susie is our groomer and is Great in handling spoiled shih tzus! Always a great grooming. Dogs are not timid going here, and enjoy being with other dogs.

On Saturday March 4,2023 I brought my dog to Cool Cuts at 470 S Cypress Rd.When I picked up my dog, I really thought everything was fine and was happy until I went outside and noticed blood on my dress and then blood on my dog.I immediately brought her back in and instead of being apologized to, the groomer hardly acknowledged me. The owner tried to brush it off and acted like I was over reacting. She even said to me haven’t you ever cut her nails these things happen. The groomer attempted to remedy the wound but was unsuccessful and I asked if I should bring her to the vet. They actually laughed at me and said no.I wound up having to bring my dog to the vet as the bleeding didn’t stop.They didn’t cut a nail, I’m not even sure they touched her nails. (The vet actually pointed out that her nails were still long) Instead the groomer cut her badly.I don’t know how they possibly didn’t notice as I’m sure my dog yelped and was crying. She’s very sensitive to pain. This is the part that kills me, were they rushing that much to ignore her cries? Did they think I wouldn’t notice? How could they be that oblivious?I’m having a difficult time believing this went unnoticed because at the vet I had blood all over me, their floor, and my poor dog. There was also blood in my car.While at the vet I called the salon in tears. The salon owner offered to cover her vet bill, apologized, quickly became defensive and reminded me that accidents happen.Upon re-arrival the groomer didn’t look at me or apologize further. The owner did try to apologize and still tried to defend and explain their original reaction. They did not refund me for her grooming but did reimburse me for her vet bill. The grooming is sloppy and choppy. I specifically told them to cut my dogs legs with scissors not clippers and you can see that she didn’t or else this would not have happened.I’m aware her hair will grow and the wound will heal. I’m appreciative that the owner reimbursed her vet bill and want to re-mention that. This isn’t to hurt anyone’s business but to bring attention to an event that was traumatic for me and my dog. I couldn’t live with myself knowing another dog gets hurt in their care and it goes on silently without being said. At the time of posting this, no one has called to check on my dog.

They have been taking care of my dog chip for about 8 years.I won’t go to another groomer it’s the only place he will let a groomer touch him.I highly recommend this place to anyone with a dog that needs a little snip snip every now and then.

My friend's dog was mutilated by these people and they did not even care. The dog ended up at the vet with a very big bill because the groomer did not know how to cut nails. No apology nothing avoid avoid avoid avoid AVOID

I brought our Shih Tzu to Cool Cuts. She was a mess. Our old groomer hadn’t cut under her paws as I’d asked, her nails and her face was a mess. It looked like I was neglecting her. I was embarrassed. When I picked her up from Cool Cuts, she looked amazing.

Beautiful and clean place, very professional, reasonable priced. I definitely will keep going here from now on. They are experienced with Yorkies, which Its hard to find. My yorkie is still a “baby” a bit fussy but they still were able to manage. She is beautiful and I am happy! Highly recommend!

Cool Cuts is Riley's "home away from home". She knows where we are as we're turning into the parking lot and jumping out of the jeep to go in..that should tell you something right there.....they are all amazing groomers and animal lovers. Adrianne and the entire staff are the best! Everyone I recommend them to says the same. And Riley comes out looking perfect every time! It's also very nice that the dogs can "hangout"' while waiting to be groomed and picked up - I think Riley loves the socializing the best! To those saying sometimes they are there a long time. They will tell you that up front when they are completely booked, especially on the weekends, but I've turned that time into errand running and outside work time when needing to go in and out of the yard with the gate open, but on the flip side, if they call and say they are ready, and you are in the middle of something, they are gracious enough to tell you to take your time picking them up. Hope they are around as long as I have dogs because I can't imagine any other groomer living up to their standards!
