Jose diagnosed my problem and fixed the transmission in my 2016 Tahoe way faster and cheaper than I could have ever imagined. Explained exactly what was causing the issue and was very honest and confident in his work. You don't find mechanics like Jose around anymore, but hands down, there's no better place to go! Highly recommend, and it will be the only place I ever go for anything transmission related!

After researching many of the Ft. Lauderdale area transmission shops, and taking my car to 3 of them that either suggested a slow death for my Subaru, or a transmission rebuild for just under $4K.Broward Transmission was my last ditch effort - saw them while on the bus I took when my car finally stalled. It had to be towed to the shop.Broward Transmission was the answer, offering a secure lot for my car while we waited for a special-order part, and to explore the least expensive repair options, as my car is a 2005, w >160K miles; used mainly for local driving.Broward Transmission exceeded my expectations - service included a full free inspection, then, filter, fluid & gasket replacement (there may have been more technical work done).Was called by Sierra, the cheery voice in the office, when the repair was complete, and on driving my car after, found that the transmission shifted through the gears so smoothly, that it wasn’t long before all my built up apprehension, about the dreaded “transmission repair/rebuild/re-manufacture” melted away!Broward Transmission is a very busy hub, so you may have to turn up in person, for a status update, as I did… it’s a worthwhile stop - got to meet the owner, Jose, who explained where they were in the process of repairs, and I could see the hum of activity at the shop. The staff was courteous, if they came into the office; asked if I needed assistance; or, otherwise, could be seen working on vehicles at, and around, the 2 visible lifts.The cost quoted for the repair also reflected the integrity of this business.I’ve found the transmission specialist, and shop, I can trust at Broward Transmission!Service: Transmission

I use this place many of times but I think it's under new management new ownership and I'm not too comfortable I'd like to stick to what I know for the service I've been getting I came back to get a estimate but it didn't work out well I'm kind of afraid to go back just skeptical.I would say Emilio was on point.5 star attention and attitude. honestly I have been doing business with emeillio owner for some years on any work I had....price was reasonable as affordable.Fast return on work given as I used these truck for commercial work....My truck runs good and feel more powerrrrr..yes more torque...He's honest with quotes like many will rip u off.THANKS and only good,honest business as last forever...keep it up...you been around as the original......

I've had a real big issue with my truck not engaging any gears. It would slip like hell and barely move. So I was recommended this shop for great transmission work, and it was close by to my job. Unfortunately in my experiences with this shop, the return time is triple the time of what I was told, and they are terrible with answering the phone or calling back to keep you updated, even though there's a receptionist at the front desk. Within 6 months of having my truck back and running, my reverse gear went to s**** It makes me wonder if they actually rebuilt the transmission like they said. Good thing I still had my warranty so I won't have to pay the ridiculous amount of money again, but although I have my warranty to get it fixed for free, I'm going through the same trouble as the first time with the lack of communication and return time. A little communication can go a long way. The only reason this gets 2 stars is because the warranty saved me. Other than that, I'll be going to Miami for transmission repairs again
