“Some rude lady yelled at me in front of customers. I was having difficulty breathing so I did not have the time to deal with that worker so I just left instead of having breakfast. I had to sit down and that was the only place available. What a rude person for someone who works in a Christian book store. Obviously she did not receive sensitivity training and is really a stupid arrogant person. I vote with my dollar and will not be going there anymore”

“First time going and I felt like a kid in a candy store! The gentleman who was working there was so sweet, gave us the rundown of the store and was playing some records while we looked around. If you're looking for something more like a Barnes and Noble, this isn't it. This is a mom and pop shop where there's books, CDs, DVDs everywhere. You can look through everything, I felt like I was there forever. I'm definitely coming back, there's so much to look through!”

“Tates Comics is legendary in the action figures and comic books world. This store is jammed packed with a little from every era of superheroes. A huge Star Wars section too. Not many CGC comics but a healthy comic book section. The staff always there to assist you in finding that one item to complete your childhood collection. Fair prices on most items. Love this place.”

“Bibliophiles rejoice! This is the store is for you. In an unassuming office looking building untold discoveries await. Bookwise is a family owned and operated used book store that has been serving Boca Raton since 1992. In October of 2020 they moved from Spanish River Blvd to 145 NW 20th St, Boca Raton, FL. Bookwise shares space with a textbook store, Booksmart, which serves students at FAU's and PBSC's Boca campuses with textbooks, shirts, and college accessories. In a time when so many independent book stores have gone under it was a pure delight to discover Bookwise. On well organized and labeled shelves you will find a wide range of books including fiction, non fiction, children's books, art, history, biographies, and reference books. The intoxicating smell of the store is familiar to anyone who loves books. Throughout the store are cute displays and cozy nooks that are perfect for curling up with a engrossing read. The friendly staff is always on hand to make recommendations and help you find what your next favorite book. I saw many of the books I have previously enjoyed and picked up some new books for when I hit the beach on my upcoming spring break. Books are 1/2 off the original price which adds to the fun of shopping. You can even try and trade in your old books if they are interested in acquiring them for the store. This is a one of a kind store that is a treasure trove for anyone who likes to read.”

“I have been coming here off and on for a long time, but I’ve pretty much always considered this my “home” comic shop. Now that I’m back in the area again, I am taking full advantage of their subscription service where I can order what I want and subscribe to certain books, and they pull everything aside for me as soon as it comes in. There’s even a tiny bit of a discount if you do! Everyone here has always been great help and a fun chat. No gatekeeping here. One of the few places where they welcome you in and will actually help you out.”

“This place is amazing in every way possible. The atmosphere is super unique and something you can't find anymore that much outside of whatever Bohemian enclave still exists in Greenwich Village in NY. This place perfectly captures the atmosphere of the cozy old days where coffee shops were more about the coziness of the place and about enjoying your coffee with friends then the quality of the coffee. That being said the coffee quality is actually pretty good, don't expect starbucks quality stuff though. This is above average stuff but not 15 dollar ventees with 17 shots of pumpkin spice, 3 shots skim milk, 4 dashes of lemon, an whatever else people get there. This is coffee served in a cozy mug. A warm, inviting place where you can both study, work, and party. The main guy in charge, Kevin, is amazing. He's like what Grumpy Cat would be like if he was human. He seems grumpy on the outside but on the inside this is a man who cares about all of his customers. He's cool asf, and nice. Talk to him an get to know him. Ask him about Magic the Gathering or something equally nerdy, and he will be your instant best friend. This is a place that accepts everyone regardless of religious beliefs, political beliefs, race, sex, gender, etc. This is a 100% safe space for all people. Everyone is treated equally. Places like this are far an few between. It's a hidden treasure, an gem disguised as a coffee shop. You should visit and just relax. Let that days stress roll right off of you. Peace, love, unity, is what this place is about.”

“Tate's Comics was having a huge outside tent comics and action figure event and saw the Tate's Gaming Satellite store in the plaza and wanted to take a peek...I walked into the store and to the right was a massive open room with tables and chairs with people playing Dungeons & Dragons type games with cards and dice. They looked like they were having a blast. The left side of the store had a long check out counter with friendly staff. Then I see tall racks of games and smaller tables of every type of dice imaginable. Many cool large and small action figures and shirts too. This is a must see location if youre traveling through University Drive.”

They don’t care about the students. I don’t see why PBSC is working with such people while doesn’t serve the reputation of the college! Shame!”

“I hired this company to install a 50 gallon water heater for me. Unfortunately, I had bought one 6" taller than the old one. This required rerouting pipes. The folks from House Shine did an excellent job. It would have been cheaper had I not bought the wrong size heater. But they did all that was needed to get it installed correctly. Definitely I'd use this company again.”
