A SEESAW EXPERIENCE... Phil did approximately $60,000.00 work on my 31 Oceanmaster I think when you look to Phil for help you have to look at his company in two ways. one a wiring harness producer and the second a boat restoration company. As far as the wiring harness he made he did a good job. My main concern is that he marked everything with a pen that dissolves quickly... So that leaves us with the restoration of the boat. Phils overall approach is to see that you have the money and then start. When you run out, leave. You will never get a quote. Phil will come at 2-3 each day, 2 to maybe 3 times a week and will be on the phone the whole time he is trying to work on your boat. He used my cuddy cabin as a phone booth. Phil does not believe there should be any computers on a fishing boat. He told me this after installing 2 POCO units because he refused to read the manual that said only one per boat, all you need to do is program it. I had $5000 worth of new lights and a beautiful dash panel made by a major manufacturer. Phil said these are no good. He would sell them at a flea market for a few bucks. I was told repeatedly to leave him alone or get someone else.. and do not say you don't like the way something was installed or he will threaten to quit. I made several parts for the boat that they damaged badly installing them. Phil is not an equipment installer. when he was finished, so to speak... he never did a sea trial on the boat. why... when we ran it... Water was coming in from several valves.. It almost caught fire because of using the wrong charger. The radar was never grounded. In conclusion we held $3000 approximately, which I advise everyone to do with this guy, we never have before. it barely covered the damage and mistakes he left us with, to this day we are still trying to fix it. there is much more, but I think you will get the gist of what you are taking on if you hire Phil... I hope you get to read this because Phil said if I wrote a review he would have his hacker take it down...

I bought a new boat (at least it was new to me) and it died on the first trip out so I called Phil at American auto marine wiring and he spent two hours on the boat and fixed all my wiring in the boat It now works flawlessly. I highly recommend this company
