They are delivering my correspondence to the wrong addresses, very important documents are lost and in this Polk City office they say they can't do anything about it, the employee in charge of said delivery has already been told but they can't do anything else, these were the words from the manager director and he was also very unreceptive, he was given a letter explaining the situation and yet they say that the situation is not going to improve that everything will depend on the employee since he has done everything within his power; I don't know what you mean by its SCOPE because the situation remains the same.

I use this post office daily to ship packages. The staff have always been helpful despite high traffic. However, the facility itself is inadequate to handle all of the required functions. I think some minor renovations are needed. Management could also look at the current space and relocate some things to help.

Very bad experience. The lady in the front desk I think she’s Indian. She was very disrespectful. Putting out my personal information in front of everyone in line. when I requested a passport appointment. All my information was discuss in front of all the clients that were in line there’s no specific office where they take you to do your appointment, my daughter‘s father passed and she was very loud about me not having the death certificate of my ex-husband. I think she was very unprofessional to be a post office officer. I think they should have an office where my information could be discussed privately, I would not recommend anyone to go to get your passport in that the post office. If you have passport issues all your information will be discussed in front of everybody else .

This post office is a joke! After going there for a change of address six months ago, filling out the forms ect ect, they still return to sender mail that is supposed to be forwarded to my new address! I have gone there and tried to get some answers about this problem and they only tell you what you want to hear just to get you to leave. And they have the nerve to keep getting a postage rate increase! Fortunately I pay most of my bills on line, because you can't rely on the buffoons at Polk city post office !

USPS was holding my mail “at customers request” WHICH I DID NOT REQUEST stayed on hold for over 40 mins for them to say they can’t help me with a mattress I ordered from Amazon for my daughter have gotten every package but even at other apartments USPS screwed up. I wish there was an option to opt for no packages to be shipped by USPS then the guy in store after I told him to cancel it. He was thinking I was gonna pick it up that day it obviously wouldn’t fit in my car with my stuff and daughter in there the whole reason I got it from Amazon to be delivered. Asked the lady in the back if we can deliver it today and she was obnoxious and loudly saying sure I’ll be nice with attitude and sarcasm like she was doing me the favor . Could of canceled the package that would of been the favor Ashley furnitures or fedex or Amazon literally any other carrier would have had it delivered like they were suppose to.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place has terrible customer service! Clerk is rude, when I asked to speak to a manger the clerk started becoming aggressive and being rude. But I mean when you have a rude manager of course your staff will follow!!

This place has by far the worst service of any post office or shipping service of any kind I've dealt with anywhere. I have dealt with them three times and every time it is a major hassle. The first time they outright refused to accept my package which was likely incorrect, the second time they argued with me profusely and told me I was incorrect and it was likely that my package wouldn't reach the destination but ultimately accepted it, and the last time of course I was prepared to deal with the nonsense and they accepted both packages but still after a lot of arguing and back and forth. All three times I've gone I've dealt primarily with the same person, and she could care no less about customer service or customer concerns. Multiple times when they've argued with me about my package being too large dimensionally or too heavy I've I've tried to show them article references from their own company but they refuse to read them or just look at their own reference materials to validate. They are extremely confused by USPS parcel select ground and shipping partner companies like eBay who provide those labels to consumers like me; they cannot seem to understand that commercial shippers have different package restrictions than an average consumer walking into the post office, and that a consumer working with eBay is essentially a commercial shipper when using an eBay generated label. The icing on the cake was my experience today where as soon as my packages were picked up I was getting hassled about them being too heavy; she weighed one box and claimed it was over 70 lb even though the manufacturer says on the side of the box gross weight is 27 kg or about 59 lb. She said it will not even scan for acceptance blah blah blah and I argued and finally she scanned it and said it was accepted because of an "exception". The postal manager who witnessed all of this said to "add the surcharge" and send it. When I got to my car and looked at the receipt both packages only weighed 59 lb, exactly like the manufacturer stated - they lied directly to my face and I didn't even notice when I was standing there!I made a point to tell the workers that I was primarily upset with the one employee I have been dealing with because of the lack of concern and attempt to understand their own policies, and at that point the manager / postmaster Beverly Tyson jumped in and said if I have any issues I should speak directly with her next time. I asked her on the spot if she wanted me to elaborate on my story and give her all of the details and also if she wanted me to pull up the reference article I was referring to in numerous conversations with her stuff so her employee could be educated. I shouldn't be surprised but of course she refused to hear any more of what I had to say or even take the reference number of the article I was referring to......It all makes sense now, the culture at this location comes from the top down and as long as Beverly has a saying that no one will care about any customer or any level of service even remotely acceptable. What kind of manager would ask a customer to talk to them about their concerns and then not even 10 seconds later refuse to talk to that exact customer about their concerns?

Had a misunderstanding when a carrier came to my house in an unmarked vehicle and took a package from my mailbox, I went to the post office to confirm it wasn’t them. I was met by the rudest staff including the supervisor of the office who was very defensive, argumentative and showed ZERO concern for her community. In 2023 when people steal, commit ID theft, this post office is only concerned with the minimum and what’s “technically not required”
