We used to love this school. Unfortunately, it’s under new management and all of the prior staff and teachers have all left. We had a wonderful experience with my first son, who attended from infant - VPK. I used to recommend this school to everyone. Now I tell everyone to STAY AWAY!We had to pull out my 2 yr old as we realized he wasn’t getting the care & attention & education we expected anymore. The circle time was 5 minutes long, the iPad was on nearly all day, there was no more art/sensory/projects/scheduled activities. He was constantly ignored by his teachers, which led to behavior issues. He literally cried every day when we dropped him off. Came to find out they recommended that SEVERAL parents get their kids tested for sensory & behavioral issues…one kid maybe…but multiple kids? Nah, it’s not issues with the kids, it’s lack of structure. Zero structure & zero hugs/love/support. Oh, and neither of his teachers spoke any English, so (a) how are they teaching my kid his lessons? Oh right, the iPad does that…and (b) I couldn’t even talk with them about his day or behavior. We pulled him out & went to another school in the area where the previous management & much of the old staff now work. Literally by the second day at his new school, my son was like “bye mom” & went in and sat down for circle time after getting welcome hugs from his teacher. They said he’s a great kid with zero behavior issues. Night & day difference.

My daughter has been studying at this school since we arrived from Brazil, around a year and 7 months ago, barely speaking a single word in English. She gained vocabulary and customs little by little. Since she joined VPK, she has grown wonderfully. This weekend we were with friends and she communicated only in English for hours and also a little Spanish. I see routine, I see linear understanding when doing homework because the teachers have already explained it in advance, I notice very solid and safe socialization and my little one's desire to go to school and be with the teachers and her friends. Every day she has beautiful things to tell me, and when she is afraid of something, she is welcomed in the most sensitive and delicate way. Ms Heena and Ms Arelys are the best qualified, professional and enthusiastic teachers to be with the children. They teach truly, with patience and dignity, without taking away from children the opportunity to make mistakes. I have no doubt that I can feel VERY safe with them and with school every day. I feel that Kiddie Academy has provided an excellent upgrade over the last 8 months and I say this from my perspective as a mother who came from another country, with several fears and who today has a super support network to rely on. I love you, and my daughter, without a doubt, does too. Thank you for all the small and big care for her and my family!???

We love it here! Last year we had Ms Maria and Ms Sandra. They were AMAZING. This year Ms Sandra moved up and we have Ms Lily! They are the greatest. My child comes home with great art work that is clearly her own! They send photos through the day and you can access the cameras around where your child is. Highly recommend. Bonus breakfast lunch and snack are included! Big plus for busy parents

My girl has been very happy since day one in Pre-K. My peace and tranquility are Miss LiLy and Sandra who take care of me and keep me informed of any situation! They are two good people and super dedicated to their work.

We love this school and my son has loved all of his teachers. They are caring and teach him so much. The live feed cameras were our reason for finding this school years ago. I'm very sad to leave when he starts kindergarten.

I cannot say enough positive things about Kiddie Academy and the amazing teachers, Miss Heenah and Miss Arelys! My daughter has been attending their VPK program, and the experience has been great! At the beginning of the school year, my daughter was assigned to a different classroom with a different teacher. I didn’t think that teacher was a good fit for my daughter, I spoke to Miss Gaby (school director) and two days later they changed her to Miss Heenah and Miss Arelys’ classroom. From that moment, we felt welcomed with warmth and professionalism. Miss Heenah and Miss Arelys are not just teachers; they're mentors and role models who go above and beyond to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.I have seen firsthand the positive impact Kiddie Academy and these wonderful teachers have had on my daughter's growth and confidence. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy to any parent looking for a high-quality early childhood education program.

I only have good things to say about my experience with this school. My daughter started June 2023 and will continue here until she starts kindergarten. When she first started she had major separation anxiety since this was her first time being in this kind of environment since she’s been at home with family but the teachers knew how to handle it and she started adapting slowly. The teachers and staff are very involved and hand on with the students. They are all very welcoming from the moment you step in in the morning. My daughter is currently with Ms. Lily and Ms. Sandra, they are absolutely phenomenal!! I can’t say enough good things about both of them. I am so grateful to know that my child is in good hands while at school. Everything from the curriculum to the staff to the breakfast/lunch/snack menu is all great and hope that it continues to thrive.

NEGATIVE STARS I WISH I CAN USE !!!!My son has being going to this schoolSince he was 1 years old. I have never got any complaints until new management came in recently. I started getting calls about my son now 4 year old ! My son is so disruptive of the class and parents are complaining that's it's only one teacher in class when it should be 2. I was told one teacher has to sit with my son the whole day. I was told maybe therapy would be best for him. Keep in mind my son has picked up many bad habits from other students at the school yet my son was singled out and was told he would have to do part time because his behavior was burning the teachers out. With all the 3 years my son have been attending this school I never had this issue or have had to be called about his behavior.I always paid on time sometimes over and we would be notified months later that's we have a credit. This place is definitely not the same place it once was when my son 1st started years ago. I took him out right after I got that call .He has being doing so well at his new school! No complaints. The sad part no one from kiddie academySchool reached out to follow up with me removing him from school PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TO ENROLL KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL !!!!!!

This place is slowly going downhill. My kids have been enrolled in Kiddie Academy of Plantation since 2018 and the school has changed dramatically. EVERYONE IS UNHAPPY IN THIS SCHOOL. This speaks volume of the management team at this school because everything starts from the top. Poor leadership has a huge impact on any organization and the poor leadership of this school has led to a lack of motivation and engagement from the teachers.Within the past year or so they have gone through multiple Director's (for a while the school had no Director) and have recently let go their Front Desk person (I believe she was the Assistant Director... not sure of her exact title) and several vital teachers. This morning I was just informed of another teacher who was let go, this time from my son's class. My biggest issue is how unstable the school has become. These are teachers that both the students and parents love.As a parent, the most important thing you look for in a school is the quality of care and the quality of the teachers. This teacher who was just fired was extraordinary. When my oldest son attend the school he would not talk to any adult. However, this teacher was the first one to get him speaking. He attended her class and he thrived. That's the kind of teacher I want and look for in a school. Most importantly, it's the kind of teacher I feel comfortable leaving my child to.Good childcare is hard to find. I strongly advise to look at every school in the area and do your due diligence before enrolling your child in any school. Kiddie Academy of Plantation was once a great school. My hopes is it gets back to that.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. THESE PEOPLE DON’T CARE FOR THE WELFARE OF YOUR CHILD, NOR DO THEY WANT TO WORK WITH YOUR CHILD THROUGH ADVERSITY.Wish I could leave less stars. In the negative. This place is a joke. The people that work there are a joke. Recently a teacher was “let go” and 6 other employees followed her out the door. There’s the first huge red flag. Our son attended here since June. His behavior is not the best - he has separation anxiety. He literally just turned 4 a month ago. Anyways the old faculty in the class that he was in (who no longer are employed here) worked with him and made him feel comfortable. When he cried during drop off, the teachers would hold him and say “just go” and 10 mins later he would be fine.Fast forward to now. All new staff and faculty. An administrator that has no business in her position. Probably couldnt even cut it doing door dash. They kicked my son out this morning due to an episode he had yesterday where he was being disruptive. As he was having a tantrum, the teacher picked him up and he bit her shoulder. WHY WOULD YOU PUT HANDS ON A CHILD WHILE THEY ARE HAVING A TANTRUM??? WHY ARE YOU PUTTING HANDS ON MY CHILD, PERIOD??? Anyways due to his behavior they decided my child can not be kept after. “He is defiant and doesnt listen” SHOW ME A PERFECT 3-4 year old, I said to her. All the other children there must be perfect!!The other little lady also thought it was a good idea, while we were we talking to the clueless administrator, to call the police on us. She is an absolute joke, and as we left the police officer agreed that it was a waste of their time. This lady said that there were complaints from other parents about our childs behavior, but wouldnt (or couldnt) show us one but of proof, no paper, no email, nothing. FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR YOUR CHILD, KIDDIE ACADEMY IN PLANTATION IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE, AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD’S WELFARE.

Our daughter graduated from VPK at Kiddie academy on June 2023!! She was there for over 2 years and she enjoyed every second of it. She created great memories and great friends. This school was the best transition for our daughter specially coming out of the pandemic. We are very thankful for our daughter’s teachers: Ms. Janice, Ms. Casey and Ms. Robin!!!! They were very loving and supporting of our daughter, and Ms. Marjorie always paying attention to ALLLL of the kids!! Her last year at VPK was fantastic, she learned so many new things, we love all of the shows and dances Ms. Robin created , we are gonna missed all!!If you are looking for a place to feel that your kids are in great hands, this Kiddie academy at Plantation is the place to have them…..and the fact that you can see your kids through the camera is even better!!!!!

Do not enroll your kids there .My daughter almost lose her eye there she fell they hide everything till now my daughter is suffering seizure and eye issue .I also wanted to print out the Director of the Daycare who is Heather shaw including a Haitian lady who works there .I was divorcing the father of my children .The kiddie Academy owner, director and the Haitian lady were so involved into my divorce .Actually the director called police on me because I came to picked up my children and my ex husband told her to not release the kids even we both signed up the kids as husband and wife. Heather also went to court to lied for my husband .This school is not a safe place to enrolled our children they manipulate the system and get it twisted when it comes to investigation .They need to investigate them . When the police came the director said to the police I need to leave the whole entire plaza because the owner owns the whole entire place .The police was chasing me as a criminal for no reason. I called this place racist with no humanity values .

Reinforced and creative education for young kids is paramount here. The Director, Heather, is very involved and responsive. Love the cameras and pictures. Z has had great teachers. Shout out to Stephanie for the amazing potty training! She has been reachable by email and is also responsive. School handled Covid extremely well, except for when the owner stopped responding to our questions (Aug 2020). But overall, we are happy here.Update (Sep 2022): I had another discussion with the owner, Judy, this past May. During our 2nd conversation, I came to know that day represented the 1st time she’d spoken to Z, and that didn’t sit well with me. Besides that, I couldn’t put my finger on why the negative feeling of it all felt so familiar until I went back through my messages and emails from 2020. Shortly thereafter, Mairav, stepped in and corrected the situation as best she could. To my understanding, Mairav is the school manager. I’m glad she is in that position b/c Mairav got us comfortable with keeping Z at this school.Heather is no longer the Director. Jody has assumed the Director role. I can’t say I know Jody on a personal level like I did Heather, but Jody is certainly a present figure. This is comforting as Heather was also very present. Jody seems organized, balanced, and creative in her educational approach. To give context to my concluding point that will follow, I believe Z has been here since June 2019 (he turns 5 in Nov). Z started off with Janice. After that, Stephanie potty trained him like a boss when he turned 2 (she actually takes most of my calls now at the general school phone line), and Alexis was amazing to Z for 3. Janice was his teacher again last year at 4, along with Casey.Z is in VPK now with Robin as his primary, but she also spent time with him in 2019. Z has told me as of late he spends time with Destiny in the afternoons or when Robin needs assistance. All the above teachers know Z well; he’s often referred to each one of them as some of his best friends, especially when Z is assigned to their classes for a year or more. I would also like to note that Janice and Robin made themselves available via email and/or text, in the same way Stephanie did.Regardless of pamphlets given and emails sent out, I would like to see bios/profiles/pictures of the staff on the Kiddie Academy Plantation’s website including: directors, managers, teachers, assistants, etc. I know I missed a lot of loving individuals that have cared for my son over the years in the recognitions above, and I’m sorry for that. To be candid, most of the time I am not made aware of the other teachers and/or staff that may be taking care of my son during the “afternoon shift” or in the event of absences, staff shortages, etc. until Teacher Appreciation Week. Perhaps I run into them by chance, or Z tells me b/c I ask him.Not only would a landing page on the website clearly define which classes teachers are assigned to and where they may rotate, but it also gives current and future parent members access to every staff members credentials and experience with the age group they are assigned to. Above all else, this change would empower, recognize and acknowledge all staff members, and simultaneously enable us parents to get to know them on a constant/revolving basis.
