I really love this location, they go above and beyond to make sure I always get a car. The customer service is really friendly and accommodating. Plus it's at the mall where you can get other things done. Love this location

I had a reservation and they did have a car. however, when I called to see if they had the car and what kind it was, he said he didn't know. Then, when we rented the car, the contract said it had a full tank when it only had 3/8 of a tank. when I asked about it, he said. He does this stuff every day. And it goes by the paper. He never looked at the car with us. Didn't give me a receipt when I returned it.He was very rude, I believe his name is Howard although he said it was Courtney. Super rude will not go there again. Budget is losing customers because he is unprofessional

Only needed the car for 24 hours. Terrible experience at this location. Huge lack of customer service professionalism. They don’t walk around the car before or after using it. It was given to me with ants everywhere inside. First and last time ever using Budget

I have a reservation and I have been waiting for more than 20 minutes and there is no one at the counter. I choose Budget because they have good prices compared to other tempting ones but they are always wrong, not only in this one but in all the agencies. If you can rent a car at another car rental company, do it, sometimes "cheap is expensive."

Totally let down by Budget. A week before we reserved a hybrid rental car through direct phone call, only to be called two hours before that none were available. What proceeded afterwards was a nightmare. Weston sent us to the Fort Lauderdale airport and told us they would honor the original contract price. When I got there they tried to charge us more than double price with a new contract. We refused so we reserved at Plantation. When we got there they had no cars. Then we reserved again at Sunrise for the following morning. They confirmed a hybrid car would be available when I called. We got there at 7:30 AM and when she opened the location there was no car. What a waste of a day and a half running around to chase after a rental car that wasn’t actually there for me. We have decided that we never want to see the Budget brand ever again. We went to Hertz and the problem was solved, they honored the new reservation we booked quickly and professionally.

Service was okay. Went there to pick up a car for a funeral and they were pretty much out of cars. They tried to give me an orange sports car. I refused and had to get on the phone with customer service to get a refund as the store was not able to do the refund. All in all, it worked out. Got my refund. Very busy though so make sure they have the car you want before driving there to find out they only have an orange sports car lol.

Terrible customer service and poor vehicle inspection.I rented a vehicle, was given the keys after another customer returned them claiming it was too small for him. I was told that the customer never drove the car; The car was not inspected by the service man and was just handed to me, he didn't walk around the car or turn it on to check it with me like how Enterprise does, he just gave me the keys. I drove home, saw that the tire light was on, looked and saw a nail in the rear tire so I drove it back to them, this was all within 10 mins of getting the car. I asked if I could get a different car and was told that because I had drove it off the lot it was now my responsibility and that I should just get it patched. THERE IS NO WAY that tire was perfectly fine and filled completely , and the car was working correctly, and in the 10 mins I drove the car I got a nail and lost enough air to cause the pressure light to come on. This was an endangerment to my life and others on the road, they did not inspect that car fully. When I checked again there was not only one nail but two, one in the front and the rear passenger, TWO NAILS IN 10 MINS!!! Yea right that's extremely unlikely!! When I returned the car they still charged me for the day even though it had only been about an hour! Luckily the customer service reps over the phone (refunded me for the day; still processing) were better than the abysmal service of the supervisor/manager who never spoke to me but sent his underlying to deliver the news. I WILL NEVER RENT A CAR FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN!! They are crooks and are putting peoples lives in danger!!!

Thanks for absolutely LESS THAN NOTHING budget. I had a reservation today for a car with a corporate discount through my company which is apparently worth nothing if they don’t have any cars to rent. I reserved a car on Thursday received my conversation email. This morning (Saturday) I got an email saying “hey are you ready for your trip, we’ll see you at your pickup time.” Called them to ask where the rental desk is for my pickup TODAY (Saturday) and they said they don’t have any cars available to rent, NOTHING ON THE LOT. Great that means I’m losing my $540 deposit for the snorkeling trip that I booked.I call customer service and tell them the situation, they said sorry about that, what we can do is cancel this reservation for no cancelation fees. Sorry about your luck on your lost deposit. Guess I need to tell the airline I work for this company doesn’t deserve our business anymore.If you need a rental car, try using a company that values its customers and corporate relationships more than Budget.

We had a completely enjoyable car rental from Budget Car Rental at the Broward Mall thanks to Howard, who took care of all our needs. He was efficient and organized, as well as engaging and conversational in our transactions. He had the answers we needed and made car rental--not something we do often--easy and rewarding. The car we rented was easy and enjoyable to drive, clean and problem free, but more rewarding was the way Howard dealt with us. Customer service is often an endangered species but Howard made us want to come back here should we need another rental in the future. Too many companies rely on the cost saving potential of the online experience but Howard proved to us why friendly, intelligent human care is still the best service.

If you rent a vehicle here you will have a lot of problems, there will be hidden fees. Support is slow and there are long queues on the phone. Better look for other rental companies.

Very disappointed.So I've rented at this location twice before with little to no issues. It's local to me. Had I reviewed him at those times it likely would have been like a 3 star. Not great service, not particularly efficient but doable.The gentleman that claims it's his franchise has always been the one that I rented from.Today he first claimed my license was suspended, it wasn't. I went to the court house across the street and it wasn't suspended. Came back and he wouldn't even let me in the door. Had a police officer behind him. Said he refused to rent to me. Was it my appearance? Was my shirt wrinkled? Lol IDK.I called the Sunrise location and the lady there was the kindest and checked my license and had no issues renting to me.The Sunrise location has my business now.

The worst place to rent a car please save yourself the headache. The owner picks and chooses who he wants to rent to. Meaning if you did a reservation online and he doesn’t like your appearance he won’t rent you a car. This is a joke. Stay away from this place.
