Do you know how you keep numbers and names, just in case they’re needed later? Take down Dr. Baylis’ info because even if you don’t need it, you will look like a hero to the person you share his info with. Hit them up for a nice dinner – you deserve it!
Dr. Baylis has been my doctor for decades. I never got hurt from a sports injury or at work, like some of his patients, but I was born with some issues and got others from falls.
So, how will you recognize him? He will flash you a warm, giant smile and within seconds of meeting him, you’ll think he’s the nicest guy you ever met. You’re right but don’t stop there. Consider that he is an exceptional surgeon (he operated on my knee last October). He is an accurate diagnostician. And remember that he stays aware of new procedures, medications, specialty pharmacies and medical equipment.
I’m not the only one who knows he’s great. He is the team physician for American Heritage and Archbishop McCarthy High Schools and was the assistant team physician for the New York Mets.
I know some of his employees for decades too. The others that I’ve come to know are just as professional and friendly. Here’s a shocker – in this office, people answer phones, return calls, are responsive to inquiries, arrange and rearrange surgical dates (as in my case) and greet patients with huge smiles.

I had an unpleasant experience with Dr. Baylis. After a 45-minute wait, he entered the room accompanied by another person and proceeded to discuss my medical history openly. When I expressed disagreement with his opinion and mentioned seeking a second opinion, Dr. Baylis abruptly left the room, shouting and calling me "ungrateful." He made it clear he was the owner and that I was no longer welcome back. It’s evident that he was trying to show off for the individual shadowing him. Given the lack of professionalism and courtesy I experienced, I cannot recommend this business to anyone!!!

Worst doctor ever he treats you like your delusional and tries to persuade you as if nothing is wrong with you when you do have issues. Don’t expect him to treat you. He speaks very sarcastically to you when you mention your complaints and projects it as if your okay see me in in 2 weeks, see me again in 3weeks. Etc. He’s trash and obviously gets a big bonus from the companies that use him for workscomp investigations. The first time I saw him he thought it was just a tiny boo boo that will fix itself. And he never once wanted to help aid with treatment.Someone needs to investigate him !

I had great experience today with Dr. Brown, he is amazing doctor with incredible bedside manner, he explain things in details, show me every single image of my MRI, he understand that I don't need narcotics and have great mangment plan instead. As doctor myself I highly recommended.

I saw Dr Baylis for a VERY painful knee. He was so nice and very professional. I went to another Doctor, but was kind blown off. Everyone in the office from the front desk, X-rays and on were wonderful. My swelling was actually fluid on my knee which he painlessly (almost) drained off resulting in immediate relief. I walked out of the office for the first time in a very long time not limping in pain. I am following his direction and hopefully this doesn't happen again. I would absolutely recommend him and the wonderful staff.

I've been dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck. My primary care physician gave me a referral to see DR. Brown. Before my appointment I had a nice lady call to pre register so I didn't have to fill out paperwork once I got there. My appointment was 10:00, I arrived at 9:45. Greeted by 2 friendly girls at front desk. I signed in and sat down.Within 10 minutes I was called back. I was taken to the X-ray room and had several taken of my neck. Then I went to another room to wait for the Dr. A nice lady came in to take my vitals. She was pleasant. Then in walked dr brown, he was friendly and super compassionate.I explained my problems and he checked my hands and arms for strength. He looked over my X-rays.He was easy to talk to and we even had some good laughs He recommended me to get a MRI, and to follow up with a pain management dr..I'm so glad I found DR. brown. After I have my MRI I will follow up with him.He spent quality time with me and didn't rush my appointment. The office was super clean and there's plenty of parking..If the lot is full in front, go around to the back. That parking is always empty..

I had very bad experience with this office. My knee pain was so bad and finally first time I got appointment . The office called and emailed me three times to confirm my appointment. They took my insurance information, my medical history and lot more. Not only once, more than two times. When I been there they said they don’t take me insurance.I had really hard to take off my my job to see the Doctor. Even I am a low income person, can’t afford a day off.I tried different doctor but there is no appointment next 30 days!

I was sent here by another physician.I suffered a ruptured bicep tendon.Dr. Baylis performed surgery to repair that. The practice coordinated everything well.After-care was performed well.Continued review of my healing went well.Instructions were extensive, clear and easy to understand. This was a life-changing situation but well handled by Baylis & Brown.

Dr Baylis is amazing. He takes the time to listen and explain the diagnosis and treatment plan with specificity. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.

I was asked to come in at 1:15 to complete paperwork for a 1:45 appt. I arrived prior to 1:15, completed the paperwork. It is now 2:33 & I have yet to see the doctor. When asked what the delay was, the front staff indicated they were confirming my insurance eligibility. I'm not sure why they requested & I provided this information at the time I made the appointment, confirmed it on my paperwork & they did nothing with it. Staff just told me everything is in order, it will just be a little longer. I'll do a follow up post. I'll will certainly let my primary physician know my experience as she made this referral. Teresa was especially rude. UPDATE: Finally saw Dr. Baylis at 3:10. He was friendly, efficient, informative & I was treated & discharged in minutes. I mentioned the long wait & while he acknowledged they were running behind, his remedy was to make an earlier appt time. Let me conclude by saying I feel markedly better today & will return as I began a course of treatment. While I think Dr. Baylis is great, I reiterate the terrible experience with the front staff, specifically Teresa & the extraordinary wait time really distracts from his talent. I'm changing from 1 Star to 2 Stars. Had the front staff extended me the courtesy of telling me there was an extended wait time so I could make a decision whether to wait or reschedule this review would certainly warrant a better rating.
