On Aug 20, 2023 I purchased an ECM online via Auto Computers USA which has to be the one here as the address matches. Recieved the ECM and had my Certified Mechanic install. My mechanic stated that the car was backfiring after the install and he was scared to drive it any farther than the 50 yds he drove. I told him to take it out and reinstall the original and he stated that I should return for a refund. this is what is on their actual website referring to Returns: "We take pride in the exceptional quality of our products ------"You can return the unit and get a refund or exchange for another similar with the same unit price. You can return a product for up to 14 days from the date of purchased, You must pay for the return shipping cost. All returns received to us after 14 days will be subject to an additional 20% restocking fee. Any product you return must be in the same condition and in the original packing. Our computers are not for testing purposes. This part is being purchased with the understanding that you have correctly diagnosed your vehicle. All returns must be accompanied by a return authorization form. No returns will be accepted without approval. Please keep your Invoice. " Customer Satisfaction is Our Highest Priority "-------- So i returned the unit exactly as they requested. Aftr numerous emails, they basically told me that since I had it installed and uninstalled that the refund was null and void. Do not take your money to these guys because they do not follow their own Refund Policy

My 01 Dodge Cummins had the P1693, P1694, and P1698 codes (failure to communicate between ECM and PCM). Along with this came tachometer not working intermittently and engine would occasionally cut in and out. Sent both my computers to them and received them back within a week or so. They also emailed with details of what they found and fixed in both computers. Installed them and my problems are gone and still no issues 10 months later. Highly recommend, they do good work and have great service. Thank you!

Best place. My 24 valve Cummins is back on the road and glad I chose the right place to repair my ECM. Could have gone locally for the repair but you cannot beat the quality of work they do. Thanks guys.

There customer service needs work, called them on 6/6 and was told that I should be getting the Ecm report later that day or on 6/7, didn’t receive anything so called again on 6/8 and was told the same thing. Called again on 6/12 and finally got the Ecm report but they didn’t send me the shipping options like they said they would….I needed the Ecm shipped next day air. With there customer service effort I hope to never deal with this company again. They had good reviews on the forums and it’s the reason I decided to get my Ecm worked on but after there customer service they lost a customer. On top of that they never responded to my various emails…. Don’t know how good there quality of work turned out to be since I had to buy an Ecm through a different company that was happy to ship it next day air.

I sent a TCM to get fix, I provided all the information to them to fix the problem, but it wasn't fix properly so I have to bought from the dealer and the problem got solve, try to contact them but no one answer. Worse customer service and repair.

Sent my PCM in for repair of a faulty voltage regulator that wasn’t allowing the alternator to charge the battery. Upon receiving the PCM back, the original problem was fixed but the vehicle was now running with multiple misfires and errors in the ignition coil secondary ionization circuit, which did not exist prior. I contacted ACS about this and they insisted this could not have resulted from the work they did, but I could send the PCM back at my own cost for them to assess it. I did this and they returned the unit to me (again at my own cost) and they were insistent that the PCM was working correctly and there were no issues caused by their repair.After months of performing diagnostics on the vehicle without any luck fixing the new problem, we were able to get ahold of an identical PCM off a totaled vehicle. After flashing this PCM with my vehicles data, it was installed and lo and behold my vehicle was once again running normally with no DTC’s.Bottom line is don’t waste your time with this company. They clearly do not know what they’re doing nor do they stand behind their work. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a new or refurb PCM from a dealer.

I was able to get a refurbished ECU for my 2nd gen Cummins that worked first try! No issues. Good company, just one problem that can be resolved.However, The credit card I used needed to be shut down due to a fraudulent charge. I haven't been issued my return for the core charge due to this. I have provided sufficient evidence that the card was shut down and still no check has been issued. I have requested that either I get a check issued for the charge or the old ECU returned. I will update this review as the situation works itself out.

Excellent customer service. My Tech ordered the wrong part, but they helped get the incorrect part returned and a new correct ECU out quick. Part worked great.

If a company deserves 5 stars , this company does! I own a 2012 Chevy 6.6 Duramax and I'vebeen having multiple issues with the transmission and shifting. I narrowed the issues to my TCM and called some shops and was told they are unrepairable. Called a few mechanics and they pointed in the direction of this company and swore by them. From the beginning I felt at ease knowing I was in good hands, explaining everything I would need to do as well as what they would be doing. I was told to send both PCM and ECM for testing and verification . To cut the story short, I received my units back and installed them and amazingly everything is working great. They even reflashed both units to the newest software available. Shifting issues are gone and the truck drives perfectly again. THANKS to this company, I couldn't be happier I found them. GREAT JOB

I sent these guys ecm, tipm, gauge cluster, and all my harnesses. Had everything back in two weeks. Plus they discounted my bill by almost $600 because I sent them everything! Definitely recommend these guys.

Highly recommend Auto Computer Specialist! Great service, communication and help!After we had a horrible experience with a different company which failed to uphold their word and warranty on their part costing us hundreds of dollars (auto computer exchange) please don't get the two confused!We are so thankful we reached out to Auto Computer Specialists and spoke to them about their products and procedures. We will definitely recommend them to anyone in need of repairs on rebuilding harnesses, testing ecms and or purchasing their products.Thanks guys for all you've done!!
