I wouldn’t trust this place. I was told a year ago that my car needs a new motor and quoted 8k after a diagnostic when I bought my car. A year later with 127 k miles my car hasn’t given me any issues, and it’s running strong.

Great pricing on tires and a friendly staff made for a very pleasant experience. This is the second time that I have bought tires from them. If you live in the Plantation area, American tire is a great option for tires and other services.

I'm very disappointed. I reviewed and researched American Tire extensively and thought it was a good establishment. I bought some new tires and an alignment. Prior to bringing my car in, there were no problems. After the job, I picked my car up and noticed that when traveling between 40 and 50 mph, the steering wheel would vibrate and shake. I brought my car back to them twice and they could not find the problem. I find it hard to believe that I had no vibration when I came in there and have vibration now, and they can't find the problem. I was told that it could have some other mechanical problem that didn't exist prior to my visit. I'm having another tire shop fix the problem that American Tire created. I will not go back there.

I just had car serviced there. They were very nice and pleasant and respective of time. This is my first time there and I’m sure I will return there If I need more servicing, Henry was especially respectful and kind and in getting my car done as soon as he could. The cost was fair and reasonable.

I am a business owner with a fleet of trucks. I trust American Tire with all of my business and personal vehicles. They have never let me down, and they have always been fair for all of the years I’ve been coming here. Great job to the team at American Tire and Auto!

Service was ok they patch my tire (from 11:00am to 4:30 pm)but they lost my tire valve cap no biggie but I didn't like it, they were custom made.I wont go there anymore.

This place is one of the best mechanic shop in Plantation, FL on sunrise Blvd. They do the same work as a dealership just cheaper. Thanks to them my Range Rover is running smooth now

Finding honest service technicians in Florida can be challenging, at least in my experience as a native. However, I discovered an automotive center in Broward with enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate technicians. I highly recommend checking out American Tire and Auto!!!

Do not trust this place! Very dishonest! As you can see below I spent almost $3000 on a new radiator, a/c parts, and a window repair. Roughly two weeks after this date I had to bring my vehicle back because a/c was back blowing hot air. They said the condenser was faulty. They replaced with yet another faulty condenser and finally got one that actually worked and charged me with a $200 bill for the them having to correct their work”. Oh but it gets worse, It hasn’t even been a year yet and my “new radiator” is over heating again. I was told by Julius, I believe, that my fan wasn’t working properly and it would cost me another $1300 to repair. I had another REPUTABLE mechanic check it out and I was told that I need to replace the water pump. This is significantly cheaper than replacing the fan. I usually don’t write reviews unless a business is truly deserving of one (rather good or bad). They are absolutely deserving!!! I wish I had the option of rating no stars.

If i could rate this place 0 stars i would. I went here a few times due to the close distance from my place. I suspected they were overcharging me but wasnt 100% sure. Untill they charged me double the price for an engine diagnostics when they charged my bf half that price for the same engine diagnostics weeks prior. Not only that but they did an oil change and did not fill my oil up all the way, my oil light turned on wayy before the mileage sticker, literally a few weeks after i did a full synthetic with them. Along with that they tried charging me $1400 for a job , i had 2 other mechanic shop opinions & i was quoted a FRACTION of the cost of $350 & 380!
You will be overcharged , under serviced & taken advantage of . i was settling with the assumption they might be overcharging because of the distance BUT with the crazy amount they were overcharging i would rather drive way further to a more reliable shop. This shop is literally the epitome of a dishonest, untrustworthy & SHADY mechanic shop. DO NOT GO HERE !
