Imagine paying for a full year and then the nextonth they announce renovations to the amenities that made you pay for your membership only to have them taken away with no end in sight. No refund. I left for a while. I tried other places but don't want to start paying for another gym while I already paid here.
I've been back for a couple weeks and here are some pics showcasing the current state of things. Roaches, grime and standing water in the showers, dirty locker room.
The equipment is alright. Many treadmills broken. It's funny to watch people try one after the other looking for one that works or doesn't have broken parts or ruts in the tread. Smh
I feel bad for the staff. They're mostly nice and I'm sure they are fed up with everything. The new manager was nice but I haven't seen him lately.
I feel bad to post this because the staff have been nice but I want to help keep others aware since I've lost my money and time already.

Looks like support beams on the building due to a leak in the pool. With no construction crew in sight the pool is set to reopen late 2028z

Waiting a year for steam room and pool remodeling. Seems a bit long. Ridiculously long.
Only thing this owner can say is, contact us at so and so. Why doesn't this owner say.
I'm going to get it completed by next week. Man up.

Been a 24 member since 2016 and I rank this location at the very bottom of all locations. Old and rusty equipment, dirty pools, spas, and floors all around. Spa has either too much chlorine or not enough. Locker rooms are sad. Shaq needs to get out of the Fitness Industry if he's allowing this to happen for almost a decade. Horrible business owner.

This place could be sweet if they did regular cleaning and maintenance. The male locker room is always dirty (puke in the sink today).
EDIT: they have hired some new staff and are SLOWLY bettering the environment. I have high hopes for the future and have added one star

Edit 7/2024: new management has been here for a few months and seem to be turning things around ??.

Been going here for 3 years, this gym is an absolute dump.
The gym is filthy and clearly hasn't been cleaned in years.
When "renovations" began in 2023 we were told that we'd be getting new equipment with the pool and sauna being renovated as well.
The "new" equipment is clearly used, torn, rusty and dirty. They took away all the adjustable benches except for one, as if it wasn't hard to get one of the two before. There are missing weights and the weight rack smells like urine. At least a third of the machines are completely unusable with the rest having some sort of issue.
The bathrooms and locker rooms are gross and dirty, with mold growing everywhere. Some of the showers have been "out of order" for months.
The pool, sauna, and steam room were supposed to be open in January and they are still in disrepair with no progress seen in months.

This gym is absolutely disgusting beyond repair and the entire building should be condemned. This place is a walking health violation. I have seen it go downhill over the years significantly. I would know, I am 26 and it is the first gym I used and where I learned how to workout when I was 15. My parents were members from the time it opened but none of us go there anymore. It is a shame and a testament to how little the owners of 24 hour fitness care about their brand and reputation that this place is still open. Needs to be shutdown and condemned. I wouldn’t work out there for free, and I have had the option, I had the membership bundled with other gym memberships for a few years but still didn’t go. The smell of the bathrooms is atrocious and can be noticed from 20-30 feet from the bathroom door. There are stains and hand prints on the walls and dirt and dust on the floor and usually dirty paper towels everywhere.

This is what happens in a society where people pretend to be adults. We elevate children with low IQ and zero standards and then wonder why we are are living in the movie Idiocracy. You can read between the lines. Caring at all is mad corny yo. And we ain't corny. The fact they respond w the same message after people clearly prove nothing is ever cleaned. Not even a little is, more disrespect. It's passive aggressive because clearly ppl tell them it's not clean for two years strait. They think your the problem for pointing it out. Well ya know times are changing. Symptoms of the downfall of America at the ,micro scale. Again read between the lines. You can not maintain first world standards when you lose critical mass of the people who created the standard once envied by the world. Label this review however you want. The truth needs to be spoken to these coddled people.

Walked in here today to see improvements being made , equipment being restored new cushions and the staff really working hard moving equipment and cleaning . Yes obviously construction isn't pretty but progress is ! City inspection and engineers where on-site for the new construction of the pool and more improvements. Thanks to the staff as they are making improvements .

Welcome to 24 hour fitness plantation where you try to workout to become fit but go home with the bubonic plague from the showers. Where they promised to have pool open in February 2024 but it’s July and they haven’t even started repairing it and opening date is now June 2026. Last time they cleaned the restroom was the beginning of the pandemic in march 2020.
