I like working out at Planet Fitness, but they need to do better at monitoring the 30 minute work out. Lots of people just use 1 or 2 machines instead of following the posted rules that states that you should only use the area if you are doing the 30 minute routine. It causes problems for people that are following the posted routine because it interrupts any rhythm that you get going and sometimes it even takes so long for them to finish with the machine that you start to cool down and that's not good.

Let's start with the negatives...•Trash cans overflowing, almost always.•Lunk definition is gender targeted. What's the difference between "Rickey the lunk" wearing a body building tank top and a woman in her sports bra with tight yoga pants?? (Female lunk). You'll see more female lunks here than male.•They are ok with people having their bags on the floor instead of using the lockers.•Some of the equipment is missing snap hooks, preacher curl machine arm rest is far passed worn out.•80-85% of people are just using benches and equipment to sit and play on their phones (hanging out)!Positives...•$10•Open almost 24/7•Cleaner than other gyms in the area (keeping up with trash cans is still an opportunity).•Equipment is newer than some gyms.*Thanks for the response, but my contract doesn't show that it's my job to fix the behaviors there.

I have been going to Planet Fitness since they opened up years ago. They are incredibly clean, constantly working on cleanliness. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I just talked to Jackie the manager about needing a few more benches up front, she already knew of the issue and was in the process of getting more benches. She is very friendly, the open hours are really good, can't recommend a better place to work out.

Simply unbelievable took down my Google review of last month because i thought maybe Jackie might have been having a bad dayI had tried to cancel my membership after being a 5 year member ,and it was just so hard chasing her down and unanswered calls , so i finally went to my bank and blocked the account , because they wont let you open your account with a credit card it must be your bank account " briliant Stratagie" so i came back after my injurie healed and they say i owe $50, honestly i tried to cancel many months before that but did not get called back , it was so hard, so i just kept paying, i came in and was speaking to a young man and was shocked at the way he was talking to me , being a 58 marine corps veteran i was offended at the agressiveness of this teenager, anyone that knows me knows I tell jokes everywhere I go an never take things to serious , the young man had a trained comment about everything I had to say , I told him i had not recived any calls back as i had been leaving messages for management for weeks on day i called all day they said the manger was cleaning then the manager was vacuuming i said twice it important can you tell the manager im on the phone , then i just held for a long time so i called back and they said the manager had just left so that is when i blocked my bank account , now By this time Jackie is jumping in the concersation interupting everything I say. I cant believe this is going on ( she has made the comment i was inappropriate i finally fiquered out why she was saying that , it was because i mentioned she didnt call me back ,. If you have ever tried to talk with someone that interupts everything you say Jackie has done this to me 3 different times now.I am the customer ,but that dosent matter anymore, it was imbarrasing humiliating, i was windering what the other customers were thinking Hearing her,This is over $50She made it clear she dudnt care about my google revuew becase she has so many good reviews mine dosent matter.She said i was agressive NOT TRUE ! i was joking around and anybody that knows me knows this is true!Go to Nicks pizza i have 12 five star google reviewsGo to Hungry Howies Plant City i have 70 five star google reviews , Ron Chapman over the yearsI have brought this club 10 different free pizza's from Hungry Howies , ( no good deed goes unpunished)The truth is No Manager should interupt and treat a customer the way i was treated, even i would have been wrong.This is because Jackie was offended because i said she didnt return my calls ( inapropriate ha thats a laugh) Jakie i dont work for you talk to your employees that way not me.Cant wait to see the response, not really ( all over $50 for a 5 year customer)

I have been coming to this planet fitness multiple times a week for the past year and a half. This location is always clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Always greeting and quick to help get an equipment add on that I am needing. They encourage us when walking by and I have always had a wonderful experience here. The reason I am just now writing my review is because last week I accidentally left my wedding set in the tanning room while wiping lotion off my hands and didn’t realize it till a couple days later. And I was certain it was gone. When I went in on Monday and spoke to the assistant manager she was so happy to return it to me as they had placed it in a special place waiting for me to claim it. Beyond thankful for the staff!!

I've had continuous issues with my account, and despite multiple attempts to resolve them, the problems persist. When I started a new account, I hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Everything seemed fine until I purchased some protein. Suddenly, it became a problem. This happened during my second week, and now I feel like I have to constantly watch my back whenever I go there. It's been a frustrating experiencePlanet Fitness continues to disappoint. It's frustrating that they won't honor my new membership, instead giving me a deadline for my last day, and then abruptly telling me today is my last day. I have no intention of giving my money to Planet Fitness again after this experience.In addition to my previous experience, now Planet Fitness is asking me to initiate a stop payment with my bank to prevent further charges. However, doing so could result in them sending the matter to collections, just like when I previously attempted to resolve issues with my account. I couldn't fix my account today due to personal financial issues, but they didn't work with me on that. It's a frustrating situation with no easy solution in sight.

I had came from another fitness center to save money. At the other place I was paying over $70/month. I payed PF $213 (after taxes) for a whole year. Since I was fairly new in my fitness journey, I was intimated and self conscious at first. Upon my first visit, I noticed that their patrons are at various level of fitness. Some are fit and some are early in their journey like me and all seem to mind their own business. I have yet to see them crowded and equipment is almost always available. I am able to get in and get my workout done efficiently. I have yet to try one of their classes, so I cannot comment on that.The staff greets you when you walk in and they are available for questions. They have a new member orientation for those who are unfamiliar with the equipment. The weight machines have pictures to show you how to use them and there is a QR code to scan as well.Had I reviewed them a week ago, I would have knocked off one star bc the WIFI wasn't working. However, it has been working lately.

Staff is very friendly. Everything is kept in working order, and the place is very clean. No pressure or hidden charges when signing up either. Daniel and David on the overnight shift are awesome!
