Cashier was extremely rude to my 13 year old who I sent in to get paper towels! He approached the register, no one was there so he rang the bell! Continued to wait a few more minutes and rang the bell again! Twice this time! The cashier came around the counter telling him to “wait a damn minute and to learn some manners!” He is a very respectful young man! Goes into stores all the time for me and has never had to deal with this before! He wouldn’t tell me what happened until we left the store and I’ve tried calling to let management know and the phone rings busy nonstop! That is the last trip I ever make to that dollar store again! If your employees don’t want their jobs tell them to find a new one! The heavy set long hair old lady who is always rude with an attitude! She’s been that way since day one! You keep letting her treat customers poorly! It’s ridiculous and in every way unacceptable!

Just bought a sports bra and realized it had a hole in it when I got to my car. I went back inside and tried to return it and the “manager”(?) had no idea that they even carried that item in the store. She proceeded to question me returning the item as though I was lying that I just bought it.

I just want to say that Kari Clark ( I asked for her name) was a very nice and kind person went out of her way to help me even though the store was busy you can tell when people are good workers and they have a good heart

This is the BEST Dollar General location in Plant City, hands down! Normally, if I'm on the hunt for a specific item but don't want to go into Walmart and no other DG closer to my house has it in stock, this is the one I go to! I feel like they're the most dependable, because they normally have fully stocked and ORGANIZED shelves, which makes shopping a breeze.

The manager who was running the register seemed frustrated and was quite abrasive and unfriendly to the other customers in an audible way while I was shopping--this only happened one out of 2 experiences there but was the first time I had seen a manager there. Coming from a manager I can see how this would manifest in behavior of other employees. She curtly told me to use the self checkout even though nobody else was in line.The store itself is disorganized and arranged with many "seasonal" isles with random products which make it hard to find what you're looking for. If you're looking for a leisurely shopping experience--unsure of what to find, you might enjoy it but it's not the place to shop for general necessities.The area, being a food desert could use another small store for competitive diversion and to serve nearby residents. Overall, don't expect a good shopping experience for your weekly needs here.

One of the better dollar stores out there! They do have a lot of variety from groceries to cosmetics to cleaners and some cute home decor you wouldn’t expect. Typically not crowded, clean and organized and they get you in and out pretty quickly.

The new self check out doesn't work right and the associates haven't been trained on how to work it yet. The associates are not friendly at this new location. If you don't like your job, you should find a job that makes you happy.
