Since new ownership: phone never answered - mail not forwarded - voicemails not returned - packages stored in lobby creating theft concerns. Local residents have very few options for mail and package deliveries, especially those who live on Palm Island. It is our hope that the new owners realize how much we rely on their service and return to the customer service we were accustomed to.

I went into the UPS store 6420 on Placida Rd in Englewood to print a label, and the attendant was super helpful I didn't know how to open the link so it could be printed JS (name on my receipt) did everything for me she boxed up my package even though she didnt have to. I wish all employees were like JS. A+Thank you!

I have been a customer at the Placida Rd by Publix for several years. Most employees are courteous and helpful however the owner never smiles and always acts like she is doing you a favor. Recently I ordered something that came in a very large box. When I ordered it was not stated it would be shipped in one large box or multiple boxes.She was rude, accusatory, and said she can’t accept packages of that size. First of all I was never made aware of a size restriction there. Second after being a customer for several years she could have explained nicely but that was not the case. Thirdly she was mad at me because the box was large and her store is “too small” for large packages so I was told I had to remove the package before the store closed that day. Overall, even though that location is the most convenient for me I will be using a location where they treat their customers courteously.

Good: Very courteous, professional, and quick service. Employees seem to be knowledgeable and capable in finding the best way to ship something. Though I have never dealt with management, the owners' replies to other customer reviews lead me to believe that they value customer satisfaction and quality of service. I've never been disappointed with my experience at this store.Bad: The 30% markup on stamps ($4 on an $11 book) is unnecessary. Granted, assuming these stamps are purchased according to USPS guidelines then they are not breaking any laws. But this seems to be an unnecessary and greedy money-grab. Though I paid for them and raised no issue, I will probably not use this store's services anymore after finding out about their markup on stamps, especially given the fact that not even gas station convenience stores place such a high markup on a product. A quick trip next door to Publix would have gotten me (and you) stamps at the correct price.

Karen and Lisa are experts at getting your job done quickly and very cost effectively. Both ladies run the whole business multitasking with a smile. This business runs better than Staples for less $$$!

Paid $277 for oversize ground shipment including letting them pack it. Inexperienced gal promised it would ship that day. It Didn't. Called next day and she lied about it. Called district manager (the franchise, not UPS). Got lip service, no refund or discounts. They admitted it was an error on their part. The shipping label and charges indicate should have shipped that day. I guess doing business based on the invoice and charges is merely a "guideline". Beware if you need something shipped with any level of certainty, it just may or may not happen the way you paid for it at the counter.

Kudos to Beth the store manager at my local hometown Ups store. Beth has always been so personal and has always gone above and beyond her duties to make our experience at ups so amazing. From instance , her creating our business cards for my contracting company With such amazing colorful eye catching flyers for thw business and then her next task was helping my fiancé with her yoga flyers. She is funny she is kind she is helpful and I have never seen her not smiling or laughing or running to help someone with a package she felt was too heavy to place on the counter. Just want to mention the good experience I had at your Placidia store. I had several family heirlooms I wanted to send to my daughters in four different states. Beth and her helper very carefully packaged them and assured me they would arrive safely. She was right, they arrived unbroken and in perfect shape and on time. The girls are delighted with their gifts from their grandmother and I am as well. I will use that store for my future shipping needs.
