Shipping cost scam - This is a bait/switch scam that they do not quote or include shipping in their $349 advertised price, they then notify you later that they must add it (*see below) and try to charge you way more than the UPS standard ground rate.....From e-mail after order placed:I received word from the shipping manager that we will need to charge more to ship to you. Freight shipping rates are fluctuating wildly from delivery address to delivery address and we must quote each address individually. Regrettably, spa covers are too large to ship with UPS or FedEx and must ship with a freight delivery carrier. We note both on our website and in our terms and conditions that we may need to charge more for shipping. You were not charged for shipping at checkout, and we do not advertise that the spa cover comes with “free shipping”.This is BULLSHIT !!!! just sayin'.....

I have had my Prestige cover now for 14 years. I have patched and repaired it many times over the years. It has been water logged for the last 7 years and I have been putting off buying a new one due to the cost. I'm ready to buy now and after seeing the negative reviews I won't be buying a Prestige cover for sure. The quality must of gone south over the last few years.

I'll add to all the bad reviews related to the poor quality of this spa cover. I purchased the cover a little over 2 yrs ago and started to see a low spot on one side of the cover last summer. I purchased a 5:3 tapper since I live in the NW but as you can see, the product is defective.Contacted the warrantee dept and they originally said I should turn the foam insert over (changing the dimple to a bulge). I indicated that was not a solution and they should replace the defective side. Their come back was "OK" but it will cost $88.80 plus shipping $255.82 for one side or a full replacement for $173.71 plus shipping $295.37 ($569.08 total)I paid $685 for this cover with a 5:3 slope to prevent pooling of water but you can see that is not the case. What if I lived in an area that experiences snow and rain, the whole cover would probably collapse.READ ALL THE POSTED WARNINGS. This product does not stand up to the environment and the product just makes it past the 1 yr warrantee. Find another vendor.

Does not even qualify for 1 star !Purchased new spa cover on 1/1/24.It arrived in timely fashion in shipping box in good condition.Opened same day and installed it.The following day I noticed a very loose thread in the side top edge creating about a 1” loop.I also noticed some bunching bumps under the vinyl along the top edge especially toward the corners. While neither of these issues are of an emergency nature it is obvious that over time they will be. Thinking to avert a future warranty claim I emailed the customer service people and it was 10 days before I got a response telling me to cut the thread ( certainly going to weaken the stitching down the road) and to then take the styrofoam out of the cover to see what is causing the bunching and lumps. As I have arthritis in my hands that is NOT an option. That being said, why should I have to correct sloppy workmanship on a brand new $600+ cover ?I emailed them that their solution was unacceptable and for them to contact me again with a real solution. That was last week and nothing but “ crickets “Just like many other reviews customer service is NON-EXISTANT !Next step is BBB and file a complaint.

I have beeen in the pool and spa industry for over 46 years and dealt with many manufatures and dealing with Prestige is on of best ones. Between quality, customer service and delivery is the beast.

It did not come in the time frame promised. I paid for “upgrades” I didn’t get. It arrived with a tear in the very flimsy seam. I’ve had a hot for the past 45 years and this is the flimsiest and most expensive I’ve ever had.

I was a bit concerned by all the negative reviews, but after talking to Kevin, I chose to go ahead and order a custom walk on spa cover. Took about 5 weeks and my cover was delivered to my house. It was exactly what I ordered. I took the time to double check all of my measurements and radius before placing the order so when it arrived it fit perfectly. Zero complaints and it appears to be a good quality cover at a fair price. It was only a little more expense than the last cover I purchased locally that was not a walk on cover and was destroyed the first time someone accidently walked on it. My spa is recessed in my deck so I am very excited about having the extra safety of the walk on cover should someone accidently walk on it.

I purchase a new hot tub cover in November 2022. This month I noticed sagging in one corner. On inspection the foam insert had deteriorated however the remaining 3 inserts were fine. Therefore, there must be a material defect and should be replaced under their 5-year warranty. I contacted the company and sent them photos and description of the issue. Their response was "Take out the affected foam insert and flip it over" I stated that there must be an issue of why the foam failed and as a company they should be concerned that their product is faulty. Their response was they can supply inserts for $25 plus $104.61 shipping!I highlighted that if this is their idea of covering their product with 5-year warranty then it's not worth the paper it's written on. Why didn't they go for a 50-year warranty as it doesn't really matter as they will not warranty their product.

I couldn’t be happier with my spa cover from Prestige Spa Covers. I submitted all my measurements through the online order form (very, very easy to use) and received an immediate confirmation. Prestige gave me an estimated delivery date that was to be done through a common Carrier (Need It Now Delivers) and also communicated with me when the cover was on the truck to be delivered. Manufacturing time was less than two weeks. The cover arrived only a few days later and was a perfect fit for my Jacuzzi 345 hot tub. I saved hundreds of $$ over ordering a cover directly from a local Jacuzzi outlet. I highly recommend these guys!

I purchased a spa through Wayfair, which is technically through dream spa and then the cover is manufactured by prestige spot covers last year within six months. The top of the cover immediately started to sag eventually taking on water every time it rains and if for whatever reason I’m out of town and cannot tip the water off, it has only gotten worse over time to the point where now the foam is broken via email. I was told that the foam is not covered and I said I’m telling you it is rain. There are no small children here no one sat on it I’m the only one who uses it , and that was indeed from the weather. They asked me to send pictures I did and they blocked me. They blocked my freaking email. I am shocked and appalled. If you have to deal with this company directly I am sorry for you.
