I purchased a $5.000 smart mattress a month ago, to this date, Sleep number has still not been able to make it work in spite of 3 technicians and 3 compressor replacement.
So after 1 month and 3 days missing work to welcome their technician, I decide to return their mattress for malfunction, but they are charging me $249 returning fee while it's not me changing my mind but their mattress not working.

Great experience at Sleep Number at Pinecrest, and great customer service! Carlos was very helpful and took his time to explain everything we needed to know in detail to help us make the best decision. We are very pleased with our purchase. Highly recommend them!

Great salesman Jerome, very helpful...but expect to spend a lot for a sleep# bed..yet we have had 5 in past and liked all of them, just getting an upgraded model for new home.

This is the worst sleep I’ve ever had. We both have back and shoulder issues so we were looking to invest in a good mattress. This mattress has done the opposite, it has actually magnified and made our pain worse. It feels like we’re sleeping on an over glorified air mattress.**BUYER BEWARE**They do not take the $5,000 base back. What are you supposed to do with a base that is specific to the Sleep Number split mattress. We spent $11,000 on their top of the line bed because of their 100 night In-Home Trial Period and at no point did anyone say the base was non refundable.We called to begin processing the return after a week of using it. They told us we were not able to process any returns until using the mattress for at least 30 days. After an hour on the phone with them they recommended we use a layer of memory foam on the mattress and scheduled their drivers to bring it over but it still has not made a difference.So now they’re going to torture us for two more weeks and in top that make us eat the $5,000 base and whatever return fees they’re going to bill is.It may just not be the mattress for us and work for others. My advice, save your money and read the fine print, it’s not worth the risk. The 100 night In-Home Trial Period is very misleading, it is not really a trial period.

I've had my sleep number for less than a month. I already feel duped. I sincerely regret my purchase and the money invested that could have gone to a different bed. It's too late, because they don't tell you until you are in the throws of the purchase that the base is not-refundable. Up until you are providing your credit card information you are told that you have a trial period. As soon as you provide your credit card, you are told oh by the way. Not refundable. Fine, we were excited. They came out, they set up the bed. We were excited. Night one, my husbands pillow falls between the mattress and the headboard. I told him he was sleeping wrong. I saw the gap continue to widen over the next few days. I got on the handy sleep number chat. I spent 25 minutes providing information only to be told I had to call the service department. I finally speak to the service department, they schedule an appointment a week and a half out. I spend my entire Saturday waiting for them to come only for them not to fix the issue. Following Monday, I chat again. For about 25 minutes I'm on the chat again. Only to be provided with another phone number. I call that number. On the phone with them for a while, only to be told I needed to speak to the manufacturer of the base. I am out on hold and told the next representative will be fully informed of the issue. She is not, she asks me the same questions. She schedules an appointment for a technician to come out. But if it is in fact the issue I'm telling her and not what she thinks it is. I've been on the phone for over an hour and a half and feel defeated. I am so disappointed in this purchase and wish we never would have spent $10,000 on this damn bed. I wish we would have done more research. If you are considering getting a sleep number, don't. Also, I would upload pictures but this app doesn't let me. I've had the mattress for less than a month and I already wish we hadn't purchased it.
