Remember this face and name "Shettleton" the next time you want the best customer service and cuts of meat. Pinecrest Milam's was my fourth and final stop after visiting and calling three other butchers. I was either told they did not have a small size of brisket or tried to sell me on another cut of meat altogether. Frustrated, I headed over to Milam's. They have everything and are always helpful. As soon as I walked up to meat counter, I was politely greeted by Shettleon. He listened patiently and asked all the right questions. I described exactly what I had in mind. He asked me to give him a moment. When he returned, in his hands was the most beautiful brisket. The size and description were exact as though I had showed him a picture. He is wonderful. :). Thank you also to the gentleman waiting in line for his helpful cooking tips.

I love shopping at Milam’s, great location (South Dixie Highway), everything is tidy, clean, the classical music, good prices, the contrasting shock comes when you get to the checkout. The cashiers are rude, they don't greet you, when you finish you thank them and they see you as if they had done you the favor of serving you, not nice people!!!

I really love shopping at Milam’s, a local family business. From the calming music to the excellent customer service, it always hits the mark. Several times I’ve asked about products they didn’t carry or discontinued and someone always responded. Whenever they could, they brought the product back or started stocking it!

Milam's Pinecrest store has gone far beyond and way above great service. They were super responsive in providing my special request for gluten free products. A special thank you to Max Milan for a prompt response and especialy for offering suggestions on different gluten free choices. I love shopping at this store and am so grateful for the very helpful employees that are willing to assist when needed. Thank you so much!!

Milams market has the best products and customer service. Everything is always so clean, the staff is friendly and I even got a text when an item I wanted came in stock!

This is a lovely store. Organized and with friendly staff. I made a request for the Schar products, and they got back to me and made my request come true. Thank you for carrying great selection of gluten free products. As someone with celiac disease, I feel so happy when I’m able to find the products I love. Thank you!

Amazing Market! I actually feel relaxed when I do my shopping. The store is always spotless and if there is an item they don’t carry or are out of they will do their best to get it. Their customer service is great. I love that they are family owned and that they contribute to the community.

Wow, what a customer service! They have a cookie you cannot get anywhere else but they discontinued the one with the raisins. I put in a request to bring back those cookies. The manager first verified that he had the correct ones and then also texted me once they arrived at the store. Quite incredible for a cookie for less than five dollars.
Besides the great customer service I love the selection; . I am originally from Germany and they have many items I cannot get anywhere else.
It’s such a pleasant atmosphere when you go shopping there, and everybody is always very friendly!

Milam’s is like no other grocery store! It’s sits on the TOP of all other chains! Pinecrest is where I shop & It’s a platinum level store! All other unnamed grocery stores that claim to give you a great experience, should really take a stroll into Milam’s. You will then see, the level of customer service you need to achieve, In order to reach Milam’s platinum level!
Milam’s associates, from the top down are phenomenal! You never hear any derogatory comments made by the associates. If they have or are having a bad day, the customer would never know it. Their level of professionalism and care to the customer is rare indeed! You know how busy it can get in the Deli area. They work off a number system. But the associates reach out to everyone, with a hello, sorry for the wait, we will be with you shortly. So all the customers are greeted and acknowledged. In the meat seafood area they say hello as I pass by. They even say if you need help finding anything let us know. The associates that sweep say hello. The associates filling the shelves say hello, If you need anything let us know. The produce always looks fresh and the fruits and vegetables look so good. If I don’t see something on the shelf, I will ask someone and they will find out for me.
On this particular visit,
I was looking for a specific flavor in a remedy organics brand that they carry. I went to customer service, they said if you fill this form out, we will see what we can do to get it for you, providing it’s available. Within a 48 hour window, Mr Max Milam had reached out to me that the distributor was out. It may take 4-6 weeks before it’s available. He would keep me posted. When it arrived in his store in Pinecrest, he notified me just as promised. It’s this level of care that keeps me shopping here over any other grocery chain. Their prices and availability of products sets them apart as well. The store is always clean, clearly marked and always have several checkouts available with associates, (not self checkouts) People that greet you. Engage in conversation during checkout. Then add a thank you for coming, look forward to seeing me again. Platinum level across the board!!!

Milam’s Grocer's (family-owned and operated grocery store in Miami) customer service is second to none. I had filled out a simple form by the cash register with a special request item. I handed it to the cashier and thought, “well I’m sure I wasted my time.” Within two days, not only was I notified that the product was now on the shelf, but came with a personal message from Mr. Milam himself, the CEO. I could not believe it. As if that gesture wasn’t enough to win my business and loyalty, he went on to fulfill a few other requests as well over time. We are now on a texting- basis- and I told him, “we need more like you”. Thanks Max, for being a good listener, keeping your finger on the pulse of your customers and still showing, despite the years of service, that your customer’s still matter. We all stand to learn a good lesson. Thank you! A loyal customer.
