Best room out of the other 7 " chain motels we've stayed at.) We were traveling towards perry.fl.and we needed a place to spend the night, Looking at the prices of the rooms I must say I was a little leary but ,Going by the excellent reviews I called and spoke to the owner ( I did not know that at the time) and made a verbal reservation.When we arrived the gentleman working outside greeted me and took me inside the office and come to find out he was the person I spoke to on the phone. He was a very nice man and I believe his name was Vetar,or something like that.Gave us room #18. So with a KEY we opened the door and I was completely surprised.The room was large and spotless, everything we needed ( except for a coffee maker,which is no big deal cause there's fast food place down the street).but for the price of the room you could not go wrong.The bed, pillows, towels were best I've had in awhile,after paying much more for a "chain motel" room. When we checked out I went over to thank him for a good night's sleep, come to find out it has been a work in process for this Mom and Pop place and in my my they've done a great job. Would I recommend this place, Absolutely. P.s......When I picked this motel it was not for the price, but solely on the reviews. Pat.C

IDEAL for an overnight stay on the way up to the Panhandle or down to the Gulf Coast!!
Friendly welcome, very clean rooms, comfortable and clean beds. Air conditioning works as does refrigerator and microwave. Parking space in front of the door. Morning coffee to go. Nothing more is needed.

Owner was so nice initially. We were there for a funeral and I asked him if we could leave our luggage in the room and come back and change before we left for home. He was more than happy to help. When we came back from the funeral there was a lock on the door and the only way he would let us back in the room was if we paid for a full night stay. He was a Dr Jeckel / Mr Hyde. Stay as far away as possible!
Rooms: pretty clean, fixed up with paint and misc. to make a very old hotel at least presentable. Sadly the owner is not trustworthy

The room smelled a bit musty. The furniture is already a bit old. However, the floor was newly made.
A bit noisy as the motel is right on the main road. Okay for one night. We wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.
At night we were visited by a cockroach

This motel is a perfect example of how the motels have to look and be maintained! Updated, clean, with a decent “healthy” vibe. The room was big (with an extra sofa), clean, the bed was comfortable, we were sleeping like babies almost until check out, nobody disturbed us. The bathroom was clean as well, water pressure was very good, towels were sparkling white.
The motel doesn’t provide amenities only hand soap if it matters to someone, no iron, no hairdryer and no kettle/coffee machine, but room had TV, fridge, microwave, huge mirror, a few hangers on a rack. Oh, the AC worked great, no any musty smell. One of the best hotels we were staying at!

When Ricky Bobby's towing dropped me off at this motel in Perry Fla, at first I was a little skeptical but the room was very nice, recently upgraded and very clean and comfortable. I would definitely pick this quaint little motel again.

My wife and I stayed here on our way to our Son's FSU graduation. Tallahassee was booked solid and very expensive. This classic, clean 50's style motel was a great stay. Modern updates to bathroom and bed was great. very clean inside and out, friendly owner/ staff- would definitely recommend staying here when travelling U.S. 19.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The room was immaculate not something you would expect for 79 dollars a night. The owner was very kind. The motel was very well kept, no trash, and very well maintained, the AC was quick to cool, and the king-size bed was comfortable. We will definitely make sure to stay again.

This place was so clean. It is an older place to stay with no frills but very safe, convenient, and has good service. Free Wi-Fi, no pets but everything was in good working order. I am staying there again at the end of the month. I highly recommend this place if you need
lodging in Perry Fl.

Stayed one night on our way through. Super nice staff and the room was so clean. I always look at the corners of the floor in any public restroom as an indicator and these were immaculate! We highly recommend the Royal Inn.
