They took care of my baby Mia! Gave us daily updates on her while she stayed the night. I did have to call sometimes when they wouldn’t get back to me in a timely manner especially when they said they would. I do know that they are also very busy. They were great at answering all of my questions. The first doctor that came in was a little questionable as he sounded super wishy washy on certain procedures. They charged ahead of time for things that “might” need to be done? I had to pay to reserve a bag of blood that cost about $800 incase she needed a blood transfusion. A unit of blood is only $100-$200 at most. The price was outrageous, and they demanded to be paid before they would do anything at all. I spent $6000 for 2 nights. I am grateful for them for taking care of my baby, just wish the experience was better. Dr. Soreng was absolutely amazing at keeping me informed. Called me back about lab work without asking, Even called my internal medicine doctor to see if they can get me in earlier than scheduled date. She gets 5stars! They did refund what they didn’t need to do. Good experience overall. Just wish they were a little more compassionate.

My pooch had a neuro consult with Dr. Nanai which went fine. She explained different scenarios and how they could be treated but some expensive diagnostics would have to be performed. I asked for an estimate and they showed me on a tablet. I asked for it to be able to discuss with my wife and was told it would be available. I asked at the office, then called later that day, and sent an email the next day, 3 times. I haven't received it now 2 days after our appointment. I'm canceling the MRI appointment for next week not because of the expense but because I am not able to discuss this with my wife, I don't have the estimate. The employees are all nice but there was no follow through with the estimate I asked for.

They treated us very well. They had to give us bad news and they did that as compassionately as they could.

I didn't threaten anybody wasn't anything but the facts Raven was awesome you had my girl or should I call her my baby.. for 6 hours and didn't do anything called me for consultation and she was still in pain and if you think I was being aggressive to your staff that is ridiculous! I'm not going to repeat what happened because everybody can see it. This is the truth and nothing but the truth so help me god!

Excellent team from the front door! My little yorkie suddenly showed breathing distress. I was scared. The team at VERC showed extreme knowledge as well as compassion.Sam was our tech and Dr Mills our physician.Sam was amazing . She explained each step and updated us regularly. Dr Mills is an incredible doc. They helped my boy, Manley, and treated him with the love and kindness that made him feel safe. I have never had to use the ER before but, would not hesitate in the future.I am so grateful for the people at VERC for making it possible to bring my boy home even if it’s not for long.

I was referred to The Veterinary Emergency Referral Centerby my vet for testing on my dog. We could not have been more pleased with the experience. The staff is courteous and obviously truly cares about your animal. The atmosphere is calming and clean. We were seen in a timely manner and everyone was very professional.

Of the worst places on Earth to be on a Sunday night, VERC was the best. Aña at reception laughed as my bleeding 20lb cat tried to escape. Tim on the other side made me laugh and let me teach him about the bassoon. Dr. Hermosa was very straight talk and expectations and no sales. And Justin made the math better than I thought possible, while fulfilling legal obligations and letting me continue the coping with dark humor. My resilient cat lives to fight another dog tomorrow, or at least pass peacefully at home with his cat sister and single cat mom. Thanks for “matching vibes” tonight10/10 would recommend - good humans make hard things easier.Update from home: ravenously hungry and furious at the disrespectful cone and unflattering bandage

Let down of the century!! Never take your pet there. My dog had what appeared to be a stroke on a Friday night so I rushed him there. I met with the vet for a treatment plan and overnight observation. The cost was outrageous but it didn’t matter I was will to do anything. I was told when I left the vet would give me an update. I called 6 hours later no update finally got a call from the vet and said the dog didn’t have any of those symptoms to come get him in the morning as planned or they would call if something changed. I got no calls thinking all was ok so when I get there to pick him up the tech says your little girl did good last night as He fell over with the same symptoms I brought him in with. Clearly the tech didn’t check to make sure she was a he so he was a liar. Secondly most importantly they didn’t do anything to check for stroke or seizure symptoms. I was furious with the tech so finally a different vet walked in and said he was terminating treatment because I was upset. I told the vet I was going to post a bad review because clearly they didn’t do anything to treat my dog. I asked for my records since they charged me $1800 for nothing to give to my Vet and they would not give them to me because I told them I was going to post a bad review. My wife who is in the medical field was out of town while this happened and was on speaker phone with me and them at pick up. They would not let her ask the vet any questions either. Totally unacceptable and I will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. These people are crooks and only want your money. I will be letting my vet know our experience so they do not reference them to anyone else

They are way over priced. It was 160 just to walk in the door. They would not allow us to be with our puppy. The doctor initially came in and said that our dog had pneumonia and when asked the treatment, she advised that it would be intense antibiotics, oxygen, and she would need an IV drip. Following that she said, the dog would not make it, and would need to be put down. The doctor then stated that she would like to run x-rays just to ensure she was right at which time we worked out another $400 for two pictures. Dr then came back in and said that the puppy did not have pneumonia and sent us home with a small vile of nose drops and a small bottle of penicillin which was another $165. The doctor did not even bothered to apologize for misdiagnosing my puppy. I will never go back there. I would prefer to drive my puppy out of state is to have to go back there.

UPDATE: Odd; the other place that I went to is running a business and was more worried about the suffering animal than their bank account. They were also paid for their services. My dad says that any time he took their dogs to the vet that they took care of the dog first and talked about money afterwards.I called this place about getting my dog seen after hours for something serious. They said over the phone they would do pay plans excluding a $140 fee. When I wasted money on an Uber going there they told me that they do not do any pay plans or make any negotiations on pricing even though I have a full time job in the healthcare field. My point is that if this were made clear over the phone then I would not have come there for no reason. Do not take your animal here. They only care about money. They would have let my dog die tonight if I didn't have the $140, but I went somewhere else instead.
