This way of moving worked really well for me. Cost was reasonable. Delivered late one day, 3 days to load it, picked up on 4th day. The same for when delivered. We used tiedowns throughout the trailer to ensure the nothing shifted, so there wasn't anything that was damaged. Drivers were courteous. I would use them again.

The process was practically great, however, somehow the freight that was supposed to drop off my relocube wasn't tracking it until I called to ensure they were dropping it off. Perhaps there was a technical error, but, for customers, do your due diligence if you didn't get a phone call. I also wish there was a phone call for when they are on their way to pick up the cube. Some of us are on properties that require inspections and the cube needs to be out of the way. Having that update or a pick up window provides better reassurance. Otherwise, I had a good experience with uPack. The drivers and customer service were excellent to deal with and was professional. Next time I will try their trailer drop off.

We used UPack to move our daughter from Pensacola, FL to Irvine, CA for grad school and I couldn't have been more pleased with the UPack moving experience. We used one Relo Cube for her belongings and while it was a bit pricey, it would've been equally (or more) expensive to rent a UHaul, especially with gas prices as high as they are. Plus, we didn't have the headache of driving a big truck or cargo van and worrying about it getting broken into each night along the way.As for U-Pack, the website was very user-friendly, the customer service representative that I spoke with on the phone was so polite and helpful, the dispatch offices on both ends answered their phones quickly and kept to the schedule, and the truck drivers/forklift operators were friendly, professional, and careful with our belongings. We also received regular text messages updating us on the status of our move. Since we were on a tight schedule, we paid extra to be guaranteed a specific delivery date, and that worked out just as planned.I'm convinced that UPack is the BEST way to do a cross country move.

I've used their services twice in the past 2 years and both times I received excellent customer service with no complaints whatsoever with the most competitive rates. If I needed to move again I wouldn't hesitate to go with U pack a 3rd time. Everyone is helpful, friendly and available to answer all questions and go the extra mile to satisfy the customer.

Had a really good experience getting my things moved from the west coast. Driver was nice and conscientious and had no problem parking the trailer where I needed it. At my destination in Pensacola, the driver was a bit dismissive and wanted to drop trailer at the curb, but I had to CONVINCE him to put in driveway. I gave him a $10 tip anyway. I got the truck uloaded over the weekend and scheduled pickup for Monday. ABF was a no-show. Called and was told with confidence that it would be picked up 1st thing Tuesday morning. Again a no-show...I called again and was told pickup late Tuesday afternoon, early evening the latest. Again a no-show! How much extra would you have charged me for keeping the trailer if I needed it extra days? And I can't get you to pull it out of my driveway?!?

Everyone from U-pack/AFB was helpful and professional… there was a hole in the top of the trailer that let in water but our stuff wasn’t damaged.

I moved my daughter from Calgary, Canada to Pensacola, Florida. U-pack in Calgary was amazing. They delivered the trailer on time and showed me how to operate everything. Lisa, in the office, provided excellent communication throughout the process. We were able to track the location of the trailer on the web site until it arrived in Pensacola 11 days later. The people at U-pack Pensacola were awful. We scheduled the delivery and were told it would come some time in the morning. At 1PM we called and were told it would be delivered that afternoon. At 5PM we received a text that the trailer was delivered. We called and told them that the trailer was not delivered. The driver stated that no one answered the phone when he called so he just left the trailer at the house. He actually was calling the wrong number and delivered the trailer to the wrong house with the same house number as ours but a different street. He left the trailer unlocked with the unsigned paperwork inside. Apparently no one was home at the wrong address and fortunately the contents were untouched. After our call the trailer was delivered to us at 7:30PM that night. The paperwork was never signed by us or the driver. When I talked to Josh, a supervisor, the next day and expressed my concern he became very defensive and hostile and said that we had our shipment and he showed no concern about the mishap. Trailer pick up was also a problem. We called the next day, a Friday, to have the trailer picked up and we were told it would not be until Monday. On Monday we called and were told there was no record of our Friday call but the trailer would be picked up that day or the next morning. We called Tuesday afternoon and were again told they were unaware of the pickup and we would have to wait until Wednesday. After much complaining they sent someone to pick it up Tuesday night. Every time we called we spoke to a different person, apparently a dispatcher who knew nothing of previous conversations. There was no office person coordinating the delivery and pickup. Avoid this company in Pensacola if possible.

Excellent value, timely pickup and drop off. Some tips that helped me: measure your items and create a plan for packing the truck. There is a plywood board on the front wall, and wood straps in the floor that you can screw wood blocks into to prevent your items from sliding. Also metal channels in the wall you can slide rope thru to secure items in place. The ramp is heavy but manageable by one person if you are careful: it is grated, but you can cut plywood down to lay on top if you use a dolly with small casters. You can grab cheap blankets at Harbor Freight, or use 4x8 polystyrene boards from Lowes to prevent scratches. If you plan the space on paper, you can load the truck in half a day. Oh - if loading in the driveway, remember to leave space behind the truck for the ramp.

This company was above outstanding! I researched other POD movers and since Arkansas Best Moving (ABF) has been around almost 100 years I chose them for their reputation. Excellent value. Their tracker was always up to date so you could see where your shipment was located throughout the time it was shipped. It took less than a week to get from Florida to Kentucky. Everyone was so professional and very helpful. I definitely would recommend using U-Pack through ABF. Outstanding service! I'm very happy with the the pick-up and delivery. It worked out very well! I'll definitely use this company again!

I can't recommend this service enough. From the beginning, planning the move on their website, all the information you need is there. The booking process is simple and reliable. The UPack was delivered on time, picked up on time, the transit to the new location was faster than expected and the delivery and pickup as arranged.I was so surprised, nothing went wrong, nothing was broken, and I was charged exactly what I was quoted, communication was easy, especially the final pickup through my phone. It's a pleasure to work with professionals!

U-Pack made our move stress free. They did what they said they would do and charged us exactly what they said they would from our initial quote. I recommend using U-Pack

Most moving companies just want to take your money and this place is no different. We recently moved and we had to move quickly due to the military. When we were moving we told them we had a vacation already planned around the time of drop off of our items. They assured us it would be no big deal and we could get our items when we got back from our vacation for a week. They are now telling us that they don’t have storage and they’re going to charge $250 A DAY to hold our items. They are holding our items from us until we either find people to move our stuff for us or we pay almost $2,000 on top of the $3,000+ that we already paid. Which if they don’t have storage, how do they all of a sudden have storage if we pay them? Guess we’ll just pull the money out of thin air, thanks UPack, y’all rock.

Our contract specifically stated that we were only able to use 27' of our trailer, and that if we didn't have the bulkheads and ramp in the trailer, we would be charged $1000. We couldn't quite fit the last bit of our home goods into the trailer, so we had to put in the bulkheads at 27" and then rent a 4x8 Uhaul trailer for another $500. When our driver came to pick up our Upack, he told us that we could have left the bulkheads and ramp out and used the last linear foot of the trailer and that they would come back and pickup the bulkheads and ramp. No one ever told us this. Would have been valuable information. It also would have been nice to know how OFTEN their offices are closed. For busy working families who need the weekend to unpack the trailer, not being able to have a trailer delivered on a weekend is inconvenient...especially when you know that the trailer is sitting at their dispatch center 20 minutes away on a Saturday morning. While some money was saved, next time I would pay a little extra and do a full service move.
