Paid for $30 worth of gas, then I get a notification from my card company that this station charged $100, not 30. Went in to sort it out, and two employees, older lady and lady with long dark hair had the gumption to LIE TO MY FACE about it.
They tried to say my card company did this, when everyone knows that CC companies will decline, if the funds aren’t available. So be warned, this station has no problem scamming and lying to your face about it.

Jeremy the night shift guy hides in the bathroom and refuses to sell people alcohol. Was told my hair was too light to be brown like on my license. I reminded him the ID scanner is right there and he said no he was a pretty good judge of character himself. Joke gas station, if you read these Jeremy has been at it fir a couple of years getting paid to sit on the toilet.

(UPDATE HIS NAME IS JEREMY) It is 2/9/2024 I’m just going to start off by saying.. this has been an on going issue for months now, and haven’t spoke on it at all because I’m not the type of person to complain, but some late nights I have to come here for things I need, almost every night I come there is a sign on the door that says be back in 5 mins… first time it happened I just sat and waited because it’s 5 mins.. 15 mins went by and no one ever came, so I left went home and came back and hour later.. that same sign was on the door. My fiance gets out and knocks on the door he peeped his head out the restroom looked at him and went right back in the restroom and never came back out. We let it slide, we have let this slide sooooo many nights, but enough is enough. This guy is getting paid, but isn’t even doing his job. This is an on going issue, and something need to change what if someone who had a life&death situation going on and needed something out of tom thumb NOT CIRCLE K. This is unacceptable Tom Thumb, and I will be reaching out to corporate if nothing changes. Many people shouldn’t be sitting in their cars waiting for someone that NEVER OPENS THE DOOR! He needs to be fired, and someone who actually will work needs to be there.! I’m extremely upset and I have every right to be.

It is Thursday night around 12:00, I showed up to gas station to get something important that circle k dosent have . I waited over a hour for employee Jeremy to come out of the restroom , I knocked loud on the door Atleast 8 different times once 20 minutes passed , I ended up leaving to go grab a drink from circle k and then came back 15 minutes later to Tom Thumb to see the sigh is still on the door , at 1:15 Jeremy finally came to unlock door . This is the 5th time this has happened when this employee works at night. I don’t know what he is doing in the bathroom whether drugs or playing on his phone but it is obviously more important than serving the beulah community, in the time I waited Atleast 10 customers came and left. Tom Thumb is losing out on a lot of money due to this employee. When Jeremy finally opened the door I grabbed what I needed and asked him what the deal was with staying in the bathroom his whole shift? He told me it was none of my business, I told him that this is the 5th time I’ve had to wait outside for over a hour and it is rediculous. Jeremy told me that i needed to just leave the store and tried denying me service. Corporate needs to fire this employee, he is ruining Tom thumbs reputation and causing them to lose out on a lot of money . If you look through the reviews you will see just how many bad experiences customers have had with this employee. Something needs to be done. Beulah needs a employee that actually wants to work. Get rid of him before yall start losing your customers that have shopped with yall for years.

I always come here for my lotto tickets. This past weekend 10-6-23 I brought my slips in. The female cashier obviously wasn’t trained properly didn’t understand lotto games or how they’re played. Ring my tickets up wrong, but I bought them. I didn’t realize I was suppose to get a free raffle ticket with my purchase until getting home. ( Alabama). She had issues ring up in register and the boy with her never came to help her. She kept my raffle ticket because I saw something in her hand that said free, but she never gave it to me and I didn’t know what it was. Tom Thumb!! Don’t let cashier help customers with any lottery until they understand the rules and events to every single game you sell.. I ran lottery in Tennessee, so I know. I would never let a cashier handle lotto sales to 100% trained with accuracy. So basically your store stole my ticket. I hope it was a losing ticket for you or the employee who took it.

After waiting 10 minutes for employee Jeremy to come out of the back office, I was refused service.I have had multiple encounters with employee Jeremy, he has refused to scan my Florida Drivers license twice and tells me “You don’t look 21”. I’m a 24 y/o paying costumer. He is always unfriendly, and makes me super uncomfortable. I am VERY glad I was not alone in the store, costumers behind me were not pleased with his attitude.

Best deli by far for any gas station/convenience store in the area. Staff are always friendly, very clean restrooms, and a large menu of delicious food! The breakfast items are awesome. I remember when this was the only store on the corner of Beulah and Nine Mile Rd. I still skip the new businesses around (Publix, Circle K, McDonald's, etc.) to go eat at the Tom Thumb. I and others are excited for the Cumberland Farms conversion.
