“I recently moved to the area and was needing a storge unit for all my items. I called around to several differnet places and one of them being Life Stoage. Stephanie anwsered the phone and I quickly noticed a difference from the other storage places I called. Stephanie was amazing, she was very patient with me because I had a lot of questions. Not being from the area and not visiting the rental site prior too, she was my eyes. I needed a 53 ft 18 wheeler to be able to deliver and I needed a few units. Stephanie with no hesitation was on it. She had it figured out in no time for me. She made sure the truck would fit in the complex, she was able to secure me units that were together and took the time to make sure it was all taken care of. Stephanie, yes she did her job but to me she went above and beyond her job title. Everytime I spoke with her she was pleasent and willing to assist in any of my million questions I might of had. On the day of the move in both her and Heather were a huge help and getting the truck in, showing me where the units were, assiting in find some carts for transporting, had locks at the units and were able to reasure my frazzeld self that it was all taken care of. The units are very clean and no site of rodents anywhere. I think I luck out on finding these wonderful ladies. I definitely recommend life storage and will definitely use again. Thank you ladies for all your help. It is very much appreciated.”

“I found it very easy to work with this storage facility. Units were clean and well maintained. After two years away there was very little dust on my stuff. It was easy to move in and out. Payments were automatic and there was easy online access. I recommend it highly for your storage needs. The staff was very kind and helpful. The only thing that might help would be a restroom or two and metered power outlets for tenant use. I understand the problem with both though, with people trying to live in the facility.”

“Location is convenient to downtown. Inside of the facility is clean and well lit (timer light switches upstairs). Safety features are good (security cameras and automatic locks on exterior doors). However, there is only one small "dumbwaiter" elevator only big enough for one small load of boxes or one piece of furniture at a time. Also, nowhere for a large truck or truck+trailer to park because the parking lot is VERY small (spots for about 8 cars), otherwise you're parking down the street and hauling all your stuff in.When I let my hubby (who's moving all the stuff from 12+ hrs away, since I came up early for work and to scout for housing) know the situation, he explained why this unit won't work for us (it would take HOURS to unload all our stuff with the tiny dumbwaiter), I immediately called them this morning to cancel our next month of the unit because we're simply not going to move into it. We rented on the 19th, I didn't see it until the 21st, and now I'm trying to cancel on the 27th. Apparently the "contract" (which is all small print, online), requires 10 days' notice....so they plan on charging me another $200 in rent even though we're not using the unit and have told them quickly that it doesn't work for us because they didn't disclose the issues with the location. The CSR kept making excuses for why this is MY fault (I should have "called sooner") etc. I called as soon as I could. They COULD take the $200 I've already paid for a unit I'm not using and say "thanks, sorry it didn't work out".... but instead, they plan on charging me again for next month, despite my notification before the end of my month, due to issues at their location (and despite having nothing in the unit.Very poor service. Very poor customer interaction. Do not recommend.ETA: Just received an email from manager/owner, Steve (not the name of person on phone) confirming they have zeroed my balance. Appreciate the fast and appropriate customer service result from him. I have changed my rating, as Steve, the manager, has been very helpful in fixing the situation.”

“Venessa was amazing!!! However, the first time I called, I spoke with Delaina (sp?)and not only could I not understand her, but she seemed to have no idea how to work the system. I had already rented one storage unit, and had called to rent a second one. She couldn’t find me in the system and I was told that I had to create a new account. I started that process, then had to hang up to get my drivers license out of my car. When I called back, thankfully Delaina was at lunch, and I was able to speak to the wonderful Venessa. She was able to find my original account with no trouble, and was able to add another unit to my account. She was efficient and friendly! Venessa may need some extra training or something.”

She has always been so amazing to work with and incredibly understand as I went through a nasty divorce and needed last minute storage. She provided outstanding customer service and even checked on me to see how I was doing. When I first got my account and moved into my storage it was too small and Joe was very helpful in setting me up with a larger storage. I have to say Joe has been really helpful. I am doing all of this alone and he has occasionally helped me move something when it was to heavy and on a Separate occasion other he has actually stopped My storage unit and asked me If I was doing OK to Or having any issues with my storage. I believe it’s because. because He is aware of my situation.
