The best place to buy an instrument in Pensacola. They have almost anything you need for music. They can fix all your instrument. They have rooms for lessons and all you need to start playing. Thank you, Schmidt's, for helping my oldest son fulfill his musical dreams.

Absolutely loved coming here. The person who helped me, Zach, was very knowledgeable and super helpful. Both of us are sax players and we were able to bond on that. I tried out a bunch of mouthpieces and it was great, i ended up buying a JodyJazz piece. There was a great variety of instruments and it was so cool to see all the different kinds of saxophones and such. The amount of books was awesome too, I bought a Bb Real Book. I will definitely come back here whenever i go on vacation. 10/10, frankly better than my own local music store in Ohio.

This place is amazing! I had come out to Pensecola for an appointment, and ended up finding this store while out here. The place is super gorgeous, even just at first sight when you pull in, and have everything you could need! (And if they don’t have it, they can probably order it)They were super knowledgeable in helping me find a new trombone mouthpiece, and said if it doesn’t work they’ll refund us. The prices are really good! They also have the PERFECT gifts for candy kids/nerds. We ended up being able to get this super cute trumpet ornament for my band director.10/10 would recommend, and I’ll definitely be back :)

Schmidt’s is a treasure for the panhandle band and orchestra community. Their staff is warm and welcoming as well as knowledgeable and professional. As a professional musician and teacher, I am beyond grateful to have a place to go whenever I or one of my students needs help. 10/10 would recommend for all instrument purchase, rental and repair needs!

It's an awesome place! Service is very friendly. I went there to get my french horn materials (yes i play french horn pretty cool i know) and they brought it in the blink of an eye. 5/5 i recommend you visit for any needs for instruments.

Mid. Just kept getting charged month after month for a violin that got used, maybe seldom. A phone call or check in would've been nice.

I guess this is a good music store, it has been there forever, lol. We went there to buy an instrument and they had nothing in our price range available ( which wasn't low I might add :/) (said they would have to order) ...I like how they will let you try a few out, they will give you a room away from everyone. They also do instrument repair. The girl that helped us was amazing, helpul and friendly. We'll go back!

I when to Schmidt's music to put in a set of engraved pegs. It was the fastest service, very courteous and best price we could find. Once I got my violin back, I had trouble moving the peg and they immediatlwy fixed the issue free of charge. Wonderful place, very knowledgeable!
