STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY!!!!!All the one star reviews speak for themselves...don't do like I did and heed the warning.UPDATE 9/14/23: Submitted a claim for a SMALL portion of what was ruined (only what I had proof of purchase for) and they only approved to pay for a portion of that. It was insulting and we declined it to avoid a confidentiality agreement and warn everyone of how they treat their customers. We are out the monthly rental fees for April 2021-Aug 2023 + all our stuff + dumpster to dispose of items. They pointed out that we didn't purchase the insurance for the contents. We would not have needed the insurance if their product didn't fail. THEIR PRODUCT FAILED,WE LOST EVERYTHING IN IT AND THEY DON'T CARE.June 24, 2023The plastic roof dry rotted/warped. Water poured into the container. Spent thousands to store items while we had work done on our house to have thousands of dollars of stuff ruined. Everything that was stored in it was ruined. We then had to spend more money to rent a dumpster to dispose of all the items. We were even charged for the container AFTER we notified them of the damage.

So we requested a date change and the company pods said it could be delivered on new date. As the new delivery date came closer I called 2 or 3 more times to ensure delivery. They were telling me yes it’s requested and coming. When the date came the pod wasn’t delivered and they charged me for another WHOLE month of storage. I have requested that the month storage we paid for be given back to us. They said that because it was a request they didn’t have to fulfill it, even though I was told it was coming many times. They said I’d have to go to court to get the recordings of our phone calls. They are taking no responsibility for their actions.Going back I would not use pods! I will NEVER use pods again. I suggest you look into their competition!

Clarify the fine print on discounts as they are likely only for the first month.Expect it to sit 2 feet from the curb in the road and take on water should any build-up on your street occur during downpours. Once the water gets in it will not be easy to get out. Especially since cardboard absorbs it.And finally be prepared to repair your fence after the pick up driver smashes it with the pod lift system and leaves without advising you of the damage.

We moved in stages and PODS provided the flexibility to move this way. The final POD delivery took place before we arrived and the POD was placed exactly as desired. Courteous and professional drivers all around.

One of your drivers made a delivery this morning at 162 Christian Dr., Santa Rosa Beach Florida and in the process, drove off the road and tore the yard up at 175 Christian Dr. could you get someone to come out and repair the yard damage?Now no one will answer the phone and the menu does not allow you to get to a real person to talk to

Allows you to move at your own pace and have control over the packing and safety of your belongings. A must if you need to store your items in between moves. Great value compared to full service movers. Incredible customer service.

We needed to rent a POD for the donation collections from the Stamp Out Hunger event with our location Post Office. The Unit arrived the day before. With no issues and pick up/return was a breeze.

My parents rented two PODS and had them stored for several months. Had plans to move into a home the end of March. My dad got sick, and later died due to cancer. My mom's plans slightly changed resulting in a delay in when the PODS should be delivered, when they would be emptied, etc. Trying to contact the "customer service" initially got nowhere. Eventually, arrangements were made for the PODS to be delivered to her new address, just a short distance in Florida. My mom ended being charged additional feeds and an entire extra month for PODS. When she called to see if they are prorated, she learned they were not. She was hung up on twice by two separate "customer service" representatives. Whether or not "the policy" is for no prorating on the final month in one thing. Having "customer service" representatives hang up on someone looking for answers, trying to understand, and dealing with financial struggles is a completely different story.

Absolutely worst customer service ever! If I could give them zero stars I would. They over charged us for storage, an entire month of storage that we didn't even have the Pods! Called customer service multiple times about the issue, was told someone else would call me back after submitting a complaint, no one ever called. Then the delivery of our Pods was scheduled a month in advance, the day before they were delivered we received our delivery window. Coordinated that with the labor guys to unload them, then in the middle of the night the delivery window changed so when we woke up and saw the change we called the guys to move have them arrive earlier. Ultimately the Pod not only didn't get delivered during the new delivery window, but it also didn't get delivered during the original delivery window. We paid laborers $150hr to sit there for five hours while we waited for the Pods to get delivered because Pods couldn't get their $hit together. Called customer service, they completely didn't care. Basically Pods ripped us off of over $1000 between storage fees and having to pay laborers for poor scheduling and delivery. I would TOTALLY NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!! Do not recommend whatsoever! The worst customer service!

We had a great experience using PODs to store all the contents of our condo while we did a 3 month long renovation. The POD was very sturdy and had so much space; we especially loved the easy garage style door that allowed to quickly open it up as we filled it, or for the items that were in there for only short periods of time, we could quickly grab when we needed them. I would highly recommend PODs, and plan to use them again in the future!

I wish I could give this company 0 stars! Save your money and go with another company. It is not worth the headache of trying to understand the customer service team. I was told at the beginning that I could pay in advance when making the booking so I did. Now I am told that my card will be double charged making my account overdrawn and with no answer from pods on why this happened. The fact that you cannot get a receipt after making a payment is ridiculous and terrible business. I have transcripts spanning over months saying that there is no problem to pay early and that the payments went through successfully. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they are the worst to deal with!!!

The technology is amazing! Nothing was broken as with a full-service company. It was convenient, fairly prices, and the employees were all helpful and customer centric. The recommended size was too small, but the customer service quick and helpful response took away any discontent I may have felt. I used moving services only but would not consider other services. ITs hard to find a great mix between good customer service and a good price. PODS achieved it!

PODs did a fantastic job and their drivers were extremely professional and skillful with the positioning of the PODs. None of our contents were damaged and the PODs were delivered on time and positioned exactly where requested. Great customer service as well! I highly recommend for a stress free move!

This wont let me choose zero stars, but thankfully i have stopped 6 people from using this company so far. It started off with a pleasant experience, seemed easy enough. The prices I was told did not match extra fees thrown in. I signed the contract and paperwork for both pods containers on june 23rd and called to schedule delivery of both on july 12th because I closed on my house on the 13th. I didn't get a notice about my delivery so I called them and they had canceled my order! All of my stuff was in storage in Virginia and never moved. So now I'm living in my house with none of my stuff. They tell me the soonest I can get my stuff will be July 26th. Too bad I check into my command on Monday the 25th and needed my uniforms which were in the pods containers. I was able to convince them to deliver them on the 22nd of July(this is a week and a half of no tv, couch, cooking utensils, spices, blankets, nothing), but only one got delivered. And it wasn't the one with my uniforms. We had that container scheduled for final pick up on the 23rd and no one called or came. When I called and complained, they asked if they can pick it up on the 26th when my other one was to be delivered. On the night of the 25th, I got a call saying that my second container, the one with the uniforms wasn't going to be delivered until the 4th of august now, changing it without my permission. Unacceptable, again, because now I'm at work and still don't have uniforms, and I had paid for movers to help unload the next morning. I lost that deposit. After checking my account, my second container was in the warehouse in Florida so I need them to get my stuff sooner. They tell me the 1st of August. Ok that's still another week without our stuff (family of 5 by the way) and they dropped the ball again. After ANOThEr angry phone call, our stuff finally gets delivered on the morning of August 2nd, instead of JUlY12th when it was supposed to be here. Now I still have another 4 days until they pick up the final container, but I can finally mow my lawn and stop getting letters from the HOA. Thank you to my wonderful neighbors who helped us out and let us do our Laundry and borrow tools while we waited. I will never use this company again. EDIT: Today is January 5th, its been over 6 months and i still am having problems with them and my claim for the Navy. They screwed me over and I have to file a complaint with the Frederick Cannaday company because the navy has to take money from my paycheck to pay for this company. If i havent said it enough, please do not use this company.
