It was Friday and we were leaving town from vacationing. My car stopped accelerating on the freeway and the engine light came on. Derrek was so considerate on trying things he could that would work without having to cost me putting a new fuel pump in. He said he would stay as long as it took so we could get on our way. He put a fuel pump roller that had broke off from the fuel pump on and the car started accelerating again. Just wanted to thank him by telling everyone he is honest, they know what they are doing, and the whole staff was on the phone looking for the part I needed. Thank you again Derrick.

Excellent service. They let me know up front how much the repairs will be, and are always spot on. My mom's older Jeep has problems with the power window mechanisms - all four windows have ended up malfunctioning over the past year, and Nevels has been able to get us in quickly to repair/replace the problem each time, and explain the different options. Highly recommend.

I’m sure they do solid work for the most part. I asked for an inspection and was told the van was in great shape besides needing struts and shocks later. I purchased the vehicle based off their inspection and did $2300 of work with them.
Not even 2 weeks later the van shut down on the highway due to bad coil packs. I took it back to Nevel’s and they diagnosed the problem but refused to fix it without charging.
I understand that inspections cannot include everything, and had this been months down the road, all good. But less than 2 weeks later I’m having issues after you give your word it’s in great shape?
Right thing to do would be to replace the coil packs at no cost to me, or don’t say you stand by your work when your clearly don’t stand by your inspections.
Be cautious of Nevel’s.

I’m actually really surprised by some of these ratings ! The first time I ever picked up the phone to deal with Nevel’s they were closing in 5 minutes . My check engine light had come on and my car had ran hot for a few minutes on my way home from work. Alicia answered and told me she would wait for me to get there and did. She came right out and hooked my car up to their scanner . She reset the codes and assured me everything was good which it was for a while . The second time I used them was for something minor but the way my car was running and sounding made me believe otherwise . Again, I stopped in pretty short notice and they stopped what they were doing to take a look at it . Derrick spent some time with me and my car thoroughly diagnosing it and sent me on my way feeling safe and very much satisfied . He never even charged me . As I write this review I am currently waiting for them to get a part they ordered to do a pretty big job for my car this Monday. I have confidence that they know what they’re doing to make my car safe and that I am getting the best deal they could offer . Alicia is so friendly and has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to vehicles ! She really makes you feel like you’re a life long friend of the family . I have no doubt my car will be back as good as new come Tuesday . I’m lucky to have found this shop! And fyi … I had an appointment with meinike the same day and the tech on duty expected me to leave my car for days without being able to project when it would be looked at or what the problem could possibly be . He had no sympathy or care in the world for my situation. This is why I’ll forever support our local family owned businesses even if they do have to charge a little more . The raport they build is worth it to me at the end of the day.

Took my 2013 RAM in when the power steering went out. Thinking it was going to be a very costly repair due to it having an electric power steering module. The power steering suddenly started working when we were in the parking lot having it looked at. We decided to just let it be until it went out again. While leaving the parking lot the mechanic stopped me and asked to check one other thing. He ran diagnostic on the battery and alternator. My alternator was going out and he caught it. They had my truck serviced and road worthy in a matter of an hour. We ended up taking our beetle over to have them look at it also. Talk about a fair, friendly and honest business! That’s hard to come by this day and age and especially in automotive repair! We will be using them for our service needs from here on out even with the hour drive from our home!Services: Steering & suspension repair

Very disappointing one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. They were very nice. The lady at the counter is awesome but my vehicle has been there for a month and it’s worse off today than it was when I delivered it there was running fine until they install the clutch. I know things happen. I’ve been in the service business all my life I do not have a problem with that the problem I have is it was pushed on the back burner after I paid $1400 he said he couldn’t figure out what was wrong .Checked all the wiring told me it might be the gas put gas additive in filled it up with high acting gas didn’t take care of it set for a couple days. He did nothing. I did some research and found it could be the crank sensor. I purchased one and took it to him . It sit there for four days with him promising me he would get to it each day said he was busy. I agree that he was busy, but no one of the other cars that he was working on had been there for a month already spent $1400 been very patient with him, all I can say is if you take it to good luck from my experience. All I can tell you is one month later vehicle worse than it was when I took it there. He had no concern about it apparently. My name is Jerry Doran this way you know it’s just not a bogus somebody telling something it’s true. My recommendation is don’t take it. There may be a good mechanic nice people but apparently if he runs into any problems, he put you on the back burner and says F YOUServices: Transmission
