Loved the food here! The fish nuggets and the blackened shrimp were good enough that even after a full serving and belly. I wanted more.If you like fresh seafood, this is the spot!

I highly recommend this hidden local seafood restaurant. No frills but excellent, fresh seafood. You have to walk through Maria's Fresh Seafood Market - no fishy smell- to get to the stainless topped tables to dine in at Maria's Olde East Hill Grill. Delicious, fresh, non-greasy, generous portions!

Moved to the Pensacola area not long ago and saw Maria's Fresh Seafood while out scouting the area. it had been a long time since we had fresh crab legs so we stopped in. Asked to see the crab legs, looked pretty good. Problem was it was a small bag so we asked for more clusters. They bagged them up. As we were walking out I told me husband it didn't feel like 2 pounds. Got a couple clusters that only had 2 or 3 legs. When we got home I opened the bag to find some poor looking legs. They were very small, which again made me wonder if we got 2 pounds. I don't judge a book by the cover so I steamed them. I have to say besides the time we bought some in a grocery store that smelled like bleach (we returned them) these were the WORST crab legs we've ever had. Absolutely NO TASTE and I used Old Bay to steam them. They were dry and the legs had barely any meat, what you could get out just flaked out. We purchased some frozen ones from a local store that were the best we've had in a long time and we paid much less and seemed to get a lot more for that 2 pounds. We will not be returning. The seafood is NOT fresh.

Some things ok, some horrible. I've never eaten a more overcooked gumbo in my life. Nearly flavorless with seafood that's been cooked to the point of baby food consistency. I do not like that they don't devein their shrimp and the poor boys. Fried mullet is okay.

Great Food. Sweet Staff. Fresh Seafood. Small restaurant but worth it if you have wait. The market always has the freshest seafood to take home & cook!
