I really appreciate how much Dr. Hall seems to care about the animals she cares for. She doesn't try and push unwanted procedures on the owner or your fur baby. She assuages your fears and gives logical sound advice. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate her and all the staff at this clinic. They make it feel like home and they really care about you and your pet.

Have been bringing our pets here for years, since Dr. Laura started her practice up in the castle (aka Old Sacred Heart Hospital). She and all the other vets, techs and staff are wonderful, caring and compassionate. They have always taken great care of our furry family members, despite the situation. The new facility is awesome! Highly recommend.

East Hill Animal Hospital is the best! Everyone is super pleasant. The office is immaculate and does not have any pet odors. The front office is well run and your visit is on schedule. The care is even better. They love your pet like you do! I highly recommend Dr. Hall and her staff. You won't be sorry.

I was pet sitting when one of the client's cats seemed to be acting pretty off. The client called East Hill Animal Hospital and gave permission for me to take their kitty in. This is their regular vet, so I was told to go right in. They were extremely helpful and patiently answered all of my questions so I could relay correct information to the owner. Starting with vet tech Franki, she was very thorough in gathering information, then demonstrated how to give the antibiotic when it was prescribed. The vet, Dr Rodriguez, was gentle and thorough, and worked out a plan of action with me to share with the us parents. Sidney, who drew blood for a glucose reading, was gentle and hit it with no problem. I have never had a cat, and the whole staff answered all of my questions (and I had A LOT) so I felt very confident in the care that my client's cat received. Thank you Dr Rodriguez and staff at East Hill Animal Hospital!

My 1 year old Beau ate rat poison last week and I called for advice on what to do. Mary, the receptionist placed me on hold so she could speak with Dr. Gunn and they advised me to take my dog in immediately. Luckily we live 5 mins away and as soon as we entered Mary rushed Beau to the back. Beau was treated immediately where they induced vomit, did blood work and IV fluids where he had to stay overnight. They took such good care of my dog and I am forever grateful for all their help. Mary the receptionist was the best, she was comforting and empathetic as she saw how worried I was. I couldn't thank Dr. Gunn enough for his help taking in Beau on this sudden circumstance knowing how busy their office is they cared for Beau right away. I was able to pick up Beau the next day and he was his happy self. We returned today for Beau's annual vaccinations and staff was amazing as usual. I was able to get all medical records sent to me via email as this was our last visit before we move next month. This is the best veterinary office! They are very clean, organized, and kind. I'm sad to have to find a new vet once we move but thankful for our great experience at East Hill Animal Hospital.

We had a great experience. Butter our elderly Yorkie had just had eye surgery and needed eye drops 4 times daily. He had been behind on his shots so they were able to arrange that as well. He looked great and happy when we picked him up.

So let me start this by saying I have 15 years experience in the hospitality industry, and I completely understand someone having an off day or just not being 100%. However, my visit with this veterinarian clinic was bad from start to finish! First off, when we walked in nobody even greeted us, nobody asked who we were, or asked who our dog was. AND no one came up and talked to our dog and said hello. They told us that they needed to get her weight. They didn't even show us where the scale was, and then looked aggravated when we asked where to go. There were five people behind the counter and not a single person walked out from behind the counter to greet us and walk us through the process! This was our VERY FIRST TIME EVER IN THE BUILDING, and we felt like we weren't even welcome! Now, let's move into the examination room. The vet tech that first helped us in the examination room was sweet and nice, however, never even introduced herself to me or to my fur baby. Then, the veterinarian came in to do what I assumed would be a check up and full examination (especially considering she's a new patient and has never been in to see him before). I would love to tell you what his name was, but he didn't even introduce himself to me or my dog. Nor did he call her by her name while we were in the patient room. It might be just a me thing but that's extremely extremely unprofessional (yes I meant to say extremely twice). And then he gave her her medicine, looked at her ears, patted her stomach twice, and then leaned up against the counter and proceeded to talk to us about our options for spaying her. He never put her up on the examination table. He didn't look at her teeth. He didn't look at her gums. He didn't check her breathing. He didn't check her heart. He didn't check any of her joints. He didn't check any of her paws. He didn't even check her temperature! I don't understand really what I even paid for with the examination fee! I feel like I drove up there just to pick up her flea and tick and heartworm medicine and then left. I may just be extremely picky, because our first veterinarian that we had with her was absolutely amazing. But it just seemed like nobody gave a s*** that we were there or gave a s*** about our dog!! Also, just so everyone knows...I have an eight-month-old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, and she is the sweetest girl on the planet. This is my first pet of my own as an adult. My grandparents trained German Shepherd's for almost 30 years so I am very familiar with the breed and the problems that come along with the breed. I will never return to this business for as long as I live in Pensacola!!!!! And I want to finish this off by saying I am a very calm and understanding individual, but when I am coming to you for medical care for my daughter...I expect some sort of customer service and/or just the basic examination techniques to be performed! One of the biggest reasons we chose this clinic in particular is because of all of the great reviews. Maybe the staff (all eight people that I saw and/or interacted with) was having a bad day. However, I think it's very unlikely that all eight people that I saw while I was in the building were on the same rhythm when it came to their attitude! I never like to leave a bad review for a business, because (like I said) I've been in the hospitality industry for 15 years now and understand that sometimes things just don't go the way you planned. But I just had to say some thing about this, and I am not looking for any thing in return or any free stuff. I just need people that are looking up clinics to know how my experience was from start to finish. Good luck to the East Hill Animal Hospital! I hope y'all really get to eat in life, but you will not be eating at my table!

I have used East Hill for the past 9 years. Always been very happy with them. They even saw my sisters very sick cat when the cat's own vet refused to see her!

I cannot recommend this practice highly enough for their skill and compassion. Every single person we interacted with was professional and kind. We travel all over the country and one of our dogs always winds up needing attention on the road, after a while it's easy to spot the best of the best and this is it. We were on the road when our dog started having trouble with his leg. We were treating it according to another vet's advice but he wasn't getting any better. Dr. McDaniel nailed an accurate diagnosis and Dr. McGuffy began PT the very next day. She also had better ideas about how to treat his IBD. We were very optimistic and felt confident they could restore him to his best possible health. They spent so much time with us and fully answered all our questions. This alone would earn them 5 stars. Unfortunately, it turned out Zeke had hemangiosarcoma and we decided to let him go. This is only the second dog we've had to have euthanized but our experience with Dr. McDaniel far exceeded our first experience. We were in shock, so optimistic, and then this. Dr. McDaniel was sensitive and compassionate throughout the entire experience. We've since had our other dog in for minor problems and they just continue to impress.

Kozmo was feeling so bad. He has a thyroid condition and his medicine got wet. We couldn't find anyone to fill his prescription for three days. Yesterday, he got his medicine and he's right back to his perky self! It feels bad when you see your baby hurting and you're trying to find medicine you can't find it. Luckily, but oddly, only one vet has the meds. First, everyone was telling me to get the prescription filled at CVS, Walmart pharmacy or Walgreens. I thought that so weird because I've never gotten my dogs medication from those places. So, here we go calling around every place I can and none of them will take the prescription. Never mind, that's his vet going through a hurricane right now. My that three days ago sent a prescription to my email. Now, in Texas this was just fine to take to a vet and get it filled. Well that is not the case in Florida that is not an ink signature that is a fake document for all they care. So they have to call the place themselves and give them all this information. So it's a matter of.. I have a limited time to ensure I can find a place to get his meds before the hurricane hits them. Finally, East Hill animal hospital was the only place that carries thyroid medication for your dog. Not the emergency clinics, that I was willing to pay $125 for just to get seen and get the meds... No not them... So weird. Know what I find particularly off about this is that thyroid issues in dogs is very, very common. Especially in older dogs like mine who's 11. How are all the other dogs getting treated or are they just going around with thyroid issues feeling bad? I remember, I said Kozmo was feeling really crappy until we got his meds. So all the other dogs just feel like crap around here????Anyway the only place to go take your dog around here is EAST HILL animal hospital. Don't take your dog anywhere else because they can't supply what your dog needs, insane. Thank you East Hill and a special thanks to Brittany!!

The staff is kind, compassionate & genuine. I trust my doggie's care to the Animal Hospital, the Pet Resort Too, and the groomers. It's so convenient to be able to have all the services I need in one location.
