Canceled the option to use GIFTCARDS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. this is ridiculous and this company deserves to go out of business for their bs. Good riddance. Micheals is way better anyways.

I know that the store is closing and when I drove by and saw the 40% to 60% off I did stop and went inside but unfortunately I saw nothing at that percentage off the highway I found was at 30% off most of the inventory is still at 10% to 30% percent off . It is very miss leading .

I understand why they are going out of business. 28 people in line and one cashier. Manager brings up another cashier and then lets the other cashier leave her register. No assistance on the sales floor. Dirty bathrooms and out of order stall. Filthy floors and very disorganized.

Just left Joann’s with my 12 & 16 yr old daughters just picking up a few last min Valentine supplies and was followed as we were going to steal from the store. Mind you I’ve been shopping here for YEARS and have spent so much money with this store. I’m truly disappointed in this behavior I’ve never had this issue and when I expressed my concern with the cashier he was like ok as if he didn't care. I work for one of the biggest companies here in Pensacola and don’t have to steal ANYTHING!!! Or even would take anything I haven’t paid for. It’s so much going on in this world for African Americans being treated unfairly and profiled and I can say this was the first time I’ve experienced this type of thing and don’t know how to feel right now. I’m disgusted.

The store inside actually looks like it has been vandalized and ransacked. No prices on most items, boxes opened and left on floor instead of stocking the empty shelf. So dirty, im not sure if something has happened to this store ( natural disaster etc) since I'm not local but I would never ever make the drive back.

My one-star review is based on the last 4 visits I've made to this location.
This store smells bad, like old mold. Store front leaks water onto the entryway constantly, even when it hasn't rained in weeks.
"Sale" bins blocking the front door, difficult to do business if you can't get in.
2 employees in fabric area; one talking incessantly and visiting, while 6 of us waiting. 25 minute wait for 1 cut of fabric.
Walked to cashier to pay. 6 customers in front of me, 11 behind me. 1 cashier.
I asked the managers name... he wouldn't say. Stated, "We have 5 managers and 1 general manager." I asked a second time... no name given.
Still don't know who the manager is.
Boxes everywhere; some half unpacked.
This store is an embarrassment!
Employees make you feel that you're intruding upon their time.
How do they stay in business?
Michael's is better.

Only one cashier on a very busy day floors were not clean however understandable due to the traffic we will continue to shop there

Dirty as hell…no friendly service…ladies in fabric chatted and sewed their own items without any friendliness or service. Super disappointing to see how far it’s fallen….do better

I'm disappointed with this location. Place looks like a train wreck, boxes everywhere, shelves half stocked, some aisles blocked. 1 person on the register with about 15 people in line. Not the quick in and out I was looking for.

Never order from Joann's online website. They never check for orders and by the time they do, they're out of whatever you ordered. It's ridiculous. So disappointing.

Awful customer service. Went in to find backing for a quilt that needed to be finished. Spoke to a young man sitting at the sewing machines to try and get some guidance on where to find what I might need. He was extremely socially inept and had a downright nasty attitude. Right off the bat he was rolling his eyes at us, visibly annoyed that he had to DO HIS JOB. On top of that the poor woman behind the fabric counter was servicing what seemed to be 10+ customers alone while he sat there twiddling his thumbs. We simply asked him if he had fabric that didn’t need batting to which he replied “that doesn’t exsist” and acted like we were stupid for even asking him about it. He could have KINDLY pointed us in the right direction. We eventually just walked away from him because he was being so nasty to us. This boy needs to work somewhere where he doesn’t have to deal with the public because it was quite evident that he has absolutely no customer service skills. Find better employees, or put employees like him in the back away from any customers. Went to a local fabric store in town and the lady found me what I was looking for immediately, what do you know, it does exist! Having an employee like him is a great way to turn away customers!

I love this place. But lately it looks like a war zone. I bought what I thought was a new skein of yarn, and it had a half done knitted scarf stuffed inside it. I shouldn't have to dig in the middle of yarn before I buy it. And there are always tons of boxes of stock everywhere. And I think the check out people are just over it.

Walked in with my dog, got fabric and went up to the counter to get it cut. The woman up there made it very clear that she was afraid of dogs by being super rude to me. I would’ve never brought my dog in if i didn’t know if the store was pet friendly and i understand some people have fears but the dirty looks I received were uncalled for. There was a counter separating her from my dog and I wasn’t gonna let my dog do something unprofessional anyways. Again I understand fears but the dirty looks were not needed. I was simply trying to get my fabric cut and leave. In my opinion, if your that scared of dogs to be so rude to a customer maybe you shouldn’t work at a dog friendly place.. I never write bad reviews but this experience just rubbed me the wrong way and I love Joann’s so I’m very disappointed.
