I suspect the older,dark hair lady at the counter is running a scam.My reservation was for $162/ 3days. Unfortunately it was for a different location. The other vendors were sold out.She would take care of us. Not to worry.Managers Special. She told me I can’t use my discount card for that but she gave me a 5 year old CTS for a total of $638 with all the trimmings that I did not ask for and she did not ask if I wanted them. No review of contract. Without the special it was $1505,57 (later learned MS was $82/aday) Did not have a true contract only a tab saying I agreed to pay $638.Final bill &1505.57 on my credit card.! No signature agreement for that amount.Contacted customer service and was told to follow up in a week because they would not contact me.Customer satisfaction survey said they would contact me within 72 hours…3 weeks ago. Still haven’t heard.Finally located receipt because it wasn’t sent to me upon returning the vehicle. Found my address was from a former address 12 years ago. She used information stored from past rentals without review or confirmation.Sent my documentation to Hertz and my credit card company. Credit card resolved it in less than 2 weeks Still haven’t heard from Hertz.Long time customer…never again.

I don’t have any negative to say about this location and the staff and the company, the price great, new and nice car, clean excellent condition and Stephanie is the best, excellent customer service skills, we were in line she did her best to make everyone feel welcome and she did her best to accommodate us, due to our issue a last minute change to drop off the car in Houston and add another day, was better option than buy a new airline ticket, she was very helpful and she was busy and she made us and made the other customers feel important and helped both. Thank you for all your help Stephanie.

Couldn't honor reservation, wasted 3+ hours of our time, no one at the desk knows how to do anything without calling or texting manager off site, gave us keys to a car that wasn't even available, probably no cars available but just wasted our time until we left.

Cancelled my reservation. They opened at 7am. I’ve been calling the front office for information on my reservation. it’s 10am and still nobody has answered. Take your services to enterprise. They pick up their phones and help people

Well, it's easy to see how they "earned" their 2.5 star rating. Ineptitude abounds! Maybe if they had an Excel spreadsheet, they would be able to honor reservations. Here's a novel idea: if you have 20 cars, don't accept 57 reservations. You also have to love how the "owner" keeps responding to these negative reviews, yet seemingly nothing gets done about it. Laughable!

I'm not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews for this business. My wife and I rented a car within the past 2 weeks while flying down to visit family. The price was great, the check-in agent was very friendly, accommodating and quick. Car gave us zero issues and returning the car could not have been easier. We did not receive any additional fees or run into any issues. Would absolutely rent from them again!

Do not rent from this location. Woman at counter attempted to add a $350 fee on top of my prepaid agreement. Talked to Hertz corporate and they can not explain what this fee was or is. This particular location has a history of doing this I have come to find out. Lucky for me her plan backfired I always have a backup car rental reservation. With all my travel I have been burned before and know better, usually avaliabllity issues. I will never rent from Hertz or Dollar again after this fiasco.

What a horrible experience! Paula; one of the counter staff was beyond rude to me and my family. We were confused about the added driver fee for a spouse and she became so frustrated with us. She flagged me while talking to me and when I asked her not to do that she asked me to leave the counter. Also be aware, what you reserve online will not be the same price or even the same car. I could not believe how unprofessional they were. We will not be booking with Hertz moving forward.

Rented a 2022 Equinox for two weeks. The vehicle had tire pressure and oil warnings popping up the entire rental, and the vehicle smelled of frequently smoke and burning plastic. This location NEVER picks up the phone, customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Stole money on bogus fuel charges, but refused to substantiate the charges or provide a refund. Will not be renting with Hertz again.

I am a corporate Gold member. Pensacola Airport HERTZ was absolutely the worst Hertz experience I have ever had. Car rented from MCO broke down in Pensacola a mile from their location and they basically left me stranded with a baby and had the nerve to charge me over a hundred dollars because the broken down car couldn’t be filled gas and was only at 3/4 tank when it broke down. The manager Eric is rude and useless. Finally made it back to my original rental location at MCO and the agent spent twenty minutes trying to clean up the mess the Pensacola location made. He said even he couldn’t believe how bad Pensacola Hertz messed up their system and handled the situation.

“Let’s go” away from booking hertz anymore. All it does is hurt. DO NO RENT HERE!!!!Not sure what is going on here at the Pensicola location. The staff and management is clueless. They overbook their rentals. They booked me under the wrong name and didn’t give us the correct car. Then we got charged daily fees for some random persons reservation. If you experience any issues, good luck with speaking with a manager onsite cause they just refer you to the customer service line which is even more painful.
