Love this place with fresh fruits and veggies. Also, the Mexican cokes. We'll always come here for the plums ?!

i just started going and liked it, but i had the most bizarre interaction that makes me question ever going back. it was a busy Sunday checking out the green buckets, long lines, and i bought 5 buckets. as they were packing them and i was putting the plastic bags back in my cart, i thought i noticed out of the corner of my eye, the clerk move my last bucket off the scale a bit later than the others. this seemed to cause confusion to the bag girl who quickly combined my last bucket with the first bucket of the next customer into one bag. i went to reach for the bag to double check and they said "no that's not yours" . i said "i think the bags got mixed up". the bag girl said said "no i didn't." and the clerk (who wasn't even really watching) said "no we didn't". and sent that customer on their way instead of asking them if that stuff was all their stuff. and i said well i had greenbeans and red potatoes and i don't see them. and the bag girl said "there were no green beans in that bag". but there were! i saw them and my boyfriend saw them. in any case it's not worth debating because i did not have any in my bags, so they went somewhere. finally the bag girl was like "ill get you more ". she got me more beans and i got more potatoes and they were more than enough pounds but i would gladly give back the extra handful of beans for not being gaslighted so confidently and unapologetically to my face by not one but two employees. the audacity was shocking. in the crowded quick paced environment why wouldn't they potentially make a mistake in packing? maybe by " mixed up" they didn't see how i meant combined and assumed if the other customer only had one bag it must be theirs. but if they had listened and looked instead of immediately snatching it away and weirdly denying my concern, it would have been an honest mistake easily sorted back out. it made me think they were both on drugs and not worth going back.
Update: the owner response confuses me. it seems to be siding with the employees by saying "even though the items were not presented to checkout". Huh? Were you the clerk? How do you know they weren't presented? i hope you mean not present, meaning the items they didn't present back to ME at bagging. Because i am 100 percent certain i presented them to checkout and PAID for them and they were dumped in the bag of the customer behind me before i could stop it, and both girls quickly and bizarrely denied it with absolute certainty without even checking. I didn't even know about this employment of ex addicts. it was just a weird vibe, but now it all makes even more sense. The bagger in this story, who was the main issue, was a younger, somewhat gothic looking girl, maybe black braids. No smile or friendliness, blank apathetic/defensive affect. Don't know if she was high. Could just be leftover brain effects.
Changing review down to one star due to weird response and apparent continued denial of fault or even the possibility of it. It wouldn't be a big deal if there was a mistake, it's the unified response that makes it insane.

Friends and I went there today for the vintage gourmet sodas, because we heard their drinks were good. The woman rang me up for my twizzlers and soda and my total alone was 6.49. I had a 20 dollar bill and wanted to pay for my friends' 3 soda bottles, too, so I told her to ring them up as well and she charged us 21.49. There were no signs or price tags on the bottles at the time. I didn't realize until later that she charged me 5 dollars per soda for my friends' drinks instead of the 3 dollars per soda it was supposed to be. I feel scammed and will not be going back. :(((((

Just a minute from my home, this market is hands down the best!! It’s so refreshing to see an establishment supporting local farmers. Your visit will surely be wonderful!!

Great place for fresh produce. The staff are helpful and friendly. One or two good trucks can be seen there. Sundays are the best day for the $5 deal. Local and fresh! Can get a little crowded so get there early for the best selection as well.

I love shopping here! The produce is much better quality than most grocery stores. I like that they sell in bulk, so I can get as much or as little as I need. They also have a great variety of local goods. The staff is always friendly and helpful, too. Highly recommend!!

Would not let me use my WIC check on fruits and vegetables I wanted they only had a certain selection of stuff that you can get and the stuff that they did have that you could get was stuff that you normally don't eat would not go here for fruits and vegetables if you have WIC checks only had about eight items that you could get with quick check they said the reason why that they only have a certain selection is because most of the stuff that they have at their farm is not locally grown!

While nice selection was rather disappointing to find out most of the produce is not even locally grown and shipped in from all over instead. More of an expensive version of a grocery store then a locally grown farmers market.

Wonderful farmers market with lots of farm fresh produce.
I happen to be looking at the stand of vintage sodas and had a trip into nostalgia when the owner walked up to restock her shelves. She was very helpful and informed about the products.
For me, it was the Peach NeHi and Big Red sodas that did it!
Also bought a few facial products from another vendor who was very knowledgeable as well.
They had a couple good trucks in the lot that day. Not sure if that was normal, but the trucks were busy as well.
I would highly recommend this location.
