My wife came there thirty minutes ago and got some groceries . After she rang up her groceries she passed through the door and it beeped the worker said it was ok ( but he was being trained by the manager ) so when my wife got to her car the manager stopped her and told her to come back in .. trying to search her person . Making a spectacle out of my wife accusing her of stealing .. when they found out she didn’t steal anything she continued to keep rescanning the items that beeped that she paid for . Touched all through the groceries didn’t even apologize when my wife asked here if it was ok . She was rude and will be reporting this to higher ups . Don’t ever come to this poor disrespectful establishment . Will never shop at this dirty grocery store again . Please wash your dirty hands before rummaging through all the groceries we bought from your dirty establishment .

They are very well stock, and they have a lot of variety of different items, you should stop in, and pick up a snack, or something's that you may need...;-)

The management is horrible. I loveee going into family dollars & dollar general but this place is not one I’ll be returning to.

I'm really disgusted with FAMILY DOLLAR on 5218 Nth W Street (store#00911) So I decided to end my day with one last Instacart order. I get to Family Dollar and grab me a drink while I shop. When I Crack the drink open to take a sip the CSR says "oh you can't open stuff before you buy it in here" I said "oh ok sorry"She was like "you got to go ahead and pay for it"In my head I'm thinking "ok I'm checking out my instacart order now so I'll get to it"I get on Google pay (which is a mobile wallet) to pay for my instacart order and their machine doesn't work and my physical wallet is in the car so I say "let me run to my car and get my wallet"The manager then hops up and says "NO YOU NOT FINNA GO TO NO CAR, YOU BETTER PAY FOR THIS DRINK OR IM FINNA CALL THE SHERRIF DEPT" I responded regular tone "I have to get my wallet your machine won't take Google pay for my instacart order"She is now mad and says "yall always come in my store opening stuff..." and keeps talking but I walked out to my car to get the wallet and she follows me and watches from store entrance. Now the whole time im being respectful because God has been dealing with me about how I respond to things and with all that's going on in the world I'd rather be safe and the fact that she was black and threatening to call the police on a fellow black person and a young seemingly respectful MAN, at that, had me flustered tbh.So I get the card and their machine was still having issues so I had to run it as a credit card and I asked how. Both the csr (who is also black) and the manager got frustrated with me and was yelling "hit the green button!"I'm thinking it's supposed to be a green button on the touch screen and it wasn't so I said "there is none".The CSR then snatches the monitor towards her and pushes the "enter" button which is nowhere on screen.I said "that's the enter button " Anyway the payment went through. So I pull out my bank card and with all the confusion going on and people waiting in line, along with me being in a flustered/agitated state I forgot to transfer money from my savings to my checking so I say "let these two people go first I'll get behind them" The CSR then grabs the drink and rings it up and says "it's rung up already"Something in me started boiling but, remembering what God said I swallowed it and responded with a bit of aggravation "well they all finna have to wait for me to transfer money"I transferred the money and made the payment. Then I asked for the store number the manager replied disrespectfully "it's on the receipt , I don't care about you calling corporate, they know who I am. You shouldn't have opened the drink, who does that?" I replied "EVERYBODY!"then explained "that most people do that, it isn't unheard of. I didn't know it was an issue in this store you should have told me so I know in the future instead of just jumping to 10" and I thought "she is really putting my life in danger by calling the police and accusing me of stealing a soda"She said "well next time don't open nothing in here"I replied "it won't be a next time" she responded "that's good"Her and the customers started talking about me to one another and I walked out and made my delivery.If this is the standard FAMILY DOLLAR has for store management I don't want no parts. I understand I shouldn't have opened the drink, but their response was distasteful, unprofessional, and ghetto.Im leaving a bad review...It sickens me because I love our black women and used to think they would protect BLACK MEN at all cost, but I'm learning some people just don't care sometimes black or white...I'm not even a rude person tbh...

Tried to rush me out, think I'm going to steal some thing. But this was a one time thing, new person. But usually friendly. If this was my first experience with them one star. But not a 4 ever.
