“Was in town for a few days and when I pulled my laptop out of the bag, the screen was dead. I do my own repairs but I had no tools and I needed my machine fixed. I was hesitant to take it to a repair shop but didn't have much choice. I dropped the laptop off in the morning and got a message in the evening that it was back up and running. “I had a very positive experience with Foster Appliance Repair. For starters, I came in on a busy day and they still greeted me, and helped me in a timely manner. They’re very knowledgeable and a honest small business. Their customer service is very friendly, accommodating and I’ve always felt like a valued customer.My TV was damaged in my move and instead of charging me an arm and a leg to diagnose it and fix it, they advised me that my better option would be to purchase a new TV. They said the parts, time and labor would cost just as much. I appreciated this because other companies may have took my business just to collect an extra penny. That’s just one example but, they’ve also fixed my Dyson vacuum, kuerig and kitchen aid mixer with no issues after 8 months.I read some of the not so great experiences and I think what people fail to realize is that no matter how many times we patch something up, everything has a limit on their life expectancy. “This place is AMAZING!! Highly, Highly Recommend!I had an old Surface Pro 2 that finally crashed on me and like a fool, I had not backed up my data for years. Two other Tech repair places turned me down due to the apparent difficulty of retrieving the hard drive. Ryan at The Tech Handyman, without hesitation, said to bring it on in. Although it took several days, I never once had to follow up. I was kept informed with updates every step of the process. I now have all my data back and a new computer that is set up with auto backup. Hard lesson learned but meant some wonderful people that run a great business.”
