This store needs all the glowing t can get. The lady Tonya that works there is always complaining about her schedule, her manager, the customers. It's so uncomfortable and unprofessional. We went in after baseball the other night and my son had to use restroom but was told it was broken. She refused to let him use the bathroom. It wouldn't be the problem if it was the first time. The bathroom is always "broken" and this is probally the third, maybe fourth time this has happened. She is lazy and tells customers this just so she doesn't have to clean it. This is a newer store in an upscale area and there is no way this bathroom is broken. There's no excuse for this type of service, she is the only employee that has this behavior and is giving the store a bad name. Someone needs to investigate her.

I arrived at 9:53 p.m on Sunday June 4th at the dollar general off of Gulf Beach hwy;The manager with black hair \\u0026 I believe a facial piercing \\u0026 her hair up.Upon arriving I saw a customer leaving \\u0026 the doors shut as I was pulling in from the sidewalk on my bike;she saw me.I drove 2 miles to get there, after calling the store \\u0026 using my gps to make sure the store was still open. I get to the door and it was locked. I looked at my phone time \\u0026 it was 9:53 when I’d arrived before closing time which is 10:00 p.m; Mind you a customer just walked out 30 seconds before I got to the door.\\nI made eye contact with the manager, as I’ve seen her before on another incident where she told me “I couldn’t penny shop here that her store isn’t a hood store they aren’t a hood store to go down the road to the others \\u0026 they’ll probably do it”.She’s told this to my aunt too when she went there a week before I did.I didn’t think that was very nice or what a manager represents. Another worker the week before honored the penny list and let me ship the expired items that were on the store floor still \\u0026 store policy is they have to be sold.\\n\\nAnyhow back to the original complaint #2. I got to the door \\u0026 it was locked. I made eye contact with her through the door \\u0026 showed her my phone \\u0026 it was 9:53 p.m. \\u0026 verbally told her. She told me”it says right here(on the register)9:56; I said that still not 10:00 which is closing time.I told her I just needed to add money onto my cashapp card real fast.She replied back with a snobby rude remark with an attitude “I don’t know what you don’t understand “\\u0026 rolled her eyes.\\nI said are you serious?That’s so rude and unprofessional it’s not closing time, I called before I rode my bike 2 miles \\u0026 said y’all are open till 10P.M. She and a coworker ignored me \\u0026 started making conversation about me and you could tell by the look on their faces they didn’t care. As a loyal customer I’m astonished this is how \\u0026 who represents this store. Something needs to be done

LOVE! Cute little DG right off Gulf beach highway on the way to the Beach! This location is a free standing building with a yuge parking lot right off GBH easy in & out with excellent service! The ladies that work here greeted us upon arrival, were very professional, chatty & upbeat, checked us out smiles all around. Love happy people that enjoy their workday. :)) Very nice DG & it was packed to the gills with inventory, lots of beachy stuff, floats, chairs, tikis, BBQ goodies, pool noodles which is exactly what we were looking for! We found the MEGA pool noodles, some floats, and tons of snacks for the beach. They have an enormous food section with beer & wine! Hubby even found something for our kitties! haha. We both agreed this was a great stop for the beach! Will return! Highly recommend!

Friendly and helpful every time I have visited. The store is very convenient distance wise to me and though they don't have everything, like produce, they have the essentials I need at the time.

Alan treated me like p**** He called me a b and refused a manager. I requested a manager because he would not service me without an attitude. He threatened me in front of my daughter who is 10. I am afraid that if he is in the store alone he may try to harm me. There is no reason for treating people that receive certain benefits like this. The manager Tamara laughed and after she asked him what happened he was confidently repeated he called me a b. Alan wanted to refuse my services so he did.
