Escambia County tax collector. What a joke! My vehicle was stolen in Florida February 12. I purchased a new vehicle to replace the stolen one last month. They transferred the stolen tag to my new vehicle! I get sent a registration with the stolen tag number on it. I walked in today to get a replacement metal tag and they refused to give it to me without charging me. There is a statute on the books that says they will replace your tag for free if stolen! So my truck is robbed by the thieves and then more money is stolen from me by the Escambia county tax collector's office. Because their system didn't have my tag flagged as being stolen! No wonder Florida has so many Auto thieves. No way they're ever going to get caught or vehicles recovered. Update check out the date of the response. 5-Year-Old canned response. That's how much they care about their service!

I needed to get a title for a camper I bought that doesn't already have one & Cherrish was very helpful. She walked us through the whole process & my husband was also able to update his address on his license at the same time.

Went in today to renew my registration for my cars. Took less than 20 minutes total wait, 17 mins in and out the door! Elizabeth helped me, was very nice, and even wished me a belated birthday!

You have to make an appointment, and they will update you approximately every 30 minutes as to your place in line. With supposedly 2 people ahead of us and a 2-16 minute wait, it still took almost 30 for us to be called. Once we got to the agent, it was seamless, and he was very good. They are just so slow.

Staff is always friendly and the “Join the Line” feature online helps reduce your waiting time significantly. I’m always in and out in less than an hour.

Shout out to JEN S!After having an unpleasant experience already unbeknownst to Jen , she completely changed my experience!! I was already in a time sensitive crunch and after waiting for at least an hour I was finally getting back to a booth! However I was greeted with an attitude , and no solutions provided to me when I ran into a hiccup getting this issue taken care of. Instead I was rushed and pushed aside and told to start from the beginning again and re enter the line . Thankfully, a few of the ladies up front came and assisted me and got me into the express line . The express line allowed me to sit with Ms.Jen S and she was phenomenal! Not only was she friendly and greeted me with a respectable attitude, she assisted my issue within 10mins! Just like that everything taken care of! I applaud Jen because she strives to give a great work ethic even in the midst of closing on a shift. I think we all can take a tip from Jen S! Thank you once again!
